  • The Mystery Behind Akhenaten, King of Egypt
    What was Akhenaten known for?
In just under two decades on the throne, Akhenaten imposed new aspects of Egyptian religion, overhauled its royal artistic style, moved Egypt's capital to a previously unoccupied site, implemented a new form of architecture and attempted to obliterate the names and images of some of Egypt's traditional gods.

Akhenaten was an Egyptian pharaoh who ruled during the Eighteenth Dynasty of the New Kingdom period of Ancient Egypt. He is famous for changing the traditional religion of Egypt from the worship of many gods to the worship of a single god named Aten. Akhenaten was born in Egypt around 1380 BC.
Why was Akhenaten erased from Egyptian history?
Horemheb was trying to systematically erase all trace of Tutankhamen and his father Akhenaten because Akhenaten was seen as a heretic king by many. Q: What is the Restoration Stela? The Restoration Stela was originally erected by Tutankhamen to declare his intention to restore traditional ways in Egypt.
What was unusual about the reign of Akhenaten?
The most unusual thing about the reign of Akhenaten was his abandonment of traditional Egyptian religion for an attempt at monotheism. Akhenaten embraced an ancient Egyptian cult called Atensim, which worshiped Aten, a sun god portrayed as a disk, as the only god.
    Was Akhenaten a good ruler?
The preponderance of the evidence, both from the Amarna letters and from Tutankhamun's later decree, as well as archaeological indications, strongly suggests that Akhenaten was a very poor ruler as far as his subjects and vassal states were concerned and his reign, in the words of Hawass, was “an inward-focused regime .
What god did Akhenaten believe in?
Above all, though Akhenaten is known for his development of a kind of early monotheism that stressed the uniqueness of the sun god Aten, and of Akhenaten's own relationship with this god. For this king, there was only one god and only one person who now knew the god: Akhenaten himself.
    What was Akhenaten's greatest achievement?
It is believed by historians that Akhenaten's greatest accomplishment, introducing the god Aten to worshipers throughout his nation, was designed to consolidate power around himself, rather than simply around a single god.
    Why did Akhenaten look feminine?
The feminine features and elongated head of ancient Egypt's King Akhenaten may be attributed to two genetic defects called aromatose excess syndrome and craniosynostosis, said Yale School of Medicine dermatology professorIrwin Braverman, M.D.
    What gender was Akhenaten?
And Akhenaten's head was misshapen because of a condition in which skull bones fuse at an early age. The pharaoh had "an androgynous appearance. He had a female physique with wide hips and breasts, but he was male and he was fertile and he had six daughters," Braverman said.
    What happened after Akhenaten's death?
After Akhenaten's death, two intervening pharaohs briefly reigned before the nine-year-old prince, then called Tutankhaten, took the throne.
    What was Akhenaten's original name?
The king ascended the throne under his birth name, Amenhotep IV, but in his fifth regnal year, he changed his name to one that better reflected his religious ideas (Amenhotep = “Amun is satisfied,” Akhenaten = “Effective for Aten”).

Psalms 104 is on the temple wall in Egypt/Kemet. been there over 3,000 years. LONG before Christianity came into existence. Akhenaton also wrote psalms 19 also.
