One for the best truck bed racks out there. Main selling point for me was the rear sliding load bar if you need for tall loads. You’re still able to use your as a truck for hauling with it and on camping/ overlanding trips etc Very expensive product but a great investment depending on you intend to use it.
Thanks for the video man. I want to go this route for a new Tacoma I just bought! Do you know if they ever put on any sales as the 3500 is breaking my bank 😖
I believe they have a bed stiffener that will work with their rack but I agree, having one incorporated would have been better. I don't think there will be any issues without them
I bought the forged set up and it’s just not designed for overlanding or camping. This is designed for a work truck set up. You can’t really store anything inside the pods, and nothing stays clean/dry or locked in the bed of the truck. After adding up all the pods and rack, you’re up to $3,600…you can get an RLD or RSI canopy for that.

For sure!
Thanks for the details. Very helpful and clear.
love these. Ive had mine since 2017. Still can use it like a truck.
That's awesome to hear!
YES! I just got mine and needed this thank you!
Glad we could help!
Great Job!
Do you have 48” between those support bars coming down in the back to fit plywood?
Can you keep bed stiffeners or which ones would you recommend. Seems like I’ll need to also get some longer bolts.
Would that rack line up with the oem roof rails

They might have a sale during Overland Expo Mountain West.
What’s the width in the bed between the boxes? Wide enough for a dirt bike?
I believe so, their website shows a bike in between
I wonder why they didn’t incorporated bed stiffeners into the down bars?Do you think it’s going to support added weight without any issues?

Thanks for the feedback. We've only heard good things but it is refreshing to hear the other side
Your complaint seems limited to the storage pods and not the rack itself. If you think the rack isn't suitable for camping, why?
Awesome when are you going to have the front camera back in stock
We should have some back in stock within a week
Will this work with the Decked slide out drawer system?
This will not work with a Decked system.
@@Runnin4Tacos Found this guys vid, he apparently got it to work. th-cam.com/video/4_nt7ewfYhc/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TannerSeymour
What is the difference between the 2nd gen version and 3rd gen? Are they interchangeable if the bed lengths are the same?
It's almost the same bed not exactly so they are not interchangeable
This rack system looks really rugged. Does Leitner say what the top load capacity is?
It is, I'm not exactly sure but I believe it is over 1000 pounds
400 lbs off-road
800 lbs on road
1400 static load (stationary)
Whoa, first! Lol
