The retrax pro only has 4 securement points. I to am looking at this set up but I'm worried about the weight and how it holds up on dirt roads and washboard. Would hate to be driving up in the mountains and lose my beadrack with everything on it

Anybody know if the rack clears the bed camera?

Will the rack system work with a '22 Tundra using a Retrax...I don't like the idea of drilling into my truck.

Great video! really interested in the system for my ford. I have a question though, it says on Leitner's website that the on-road weigh rating is 400 lbs on the tonneau cover. The ACS itself is close to 100lbs, Gear Pod XL is 50lbs (+50 lbs gear for instance), rooftop tent is roughly 200 lbs, plus other gear pods on the other side (~50lbs each) plus awning. Roughly 600 - 650 lbs of weight on the tonneau cover, this exceeds the recommended weight by 200 lbs+ (50%). Is this really doable on the tonneau cover? thanks!

The rack and the gear weight will be on the bed rails not the cover. The weight rating on a tonneau is for the actual top cover not the rails on the side. There’s also bed supports on the leitner rack that keep the weight off the bed rails. I run the classic acs with 2 xl pods and it is an amazing system

I could be wrong but I believe..the 400 lb on road dynamic rating is the load carrying capacity on the load bars of the rack itself, not the tonneau, but that’s a good point. Retrax actually doesnt state a weight capacity for their T Slot design. I guess they recommend whatever the manufacturer of the vehicle recommends. So 400 lbs dynamic on road. Most RTTs are 150-200 lbs so the 400 dynamic should be ample.

@@Kanddande no bed supports on this model. The tonneau wouldn’t be able to close

It slides on the regular acs forged, just not the acs forged tonneau
