- Shadow Treasury Chief Secretary, Darren Jones reacts to Rishi Sunak saying handing the economy to Keir Starmer "would be as dangerous as Liz Truss" as PM.
Chancellor Jeremy Hunt will today give an update on the state of the economy and is rumoured to announce tax and spending changes.
Darren Jones says: "Higher mortgage payments, tax, rent. Poor public services - all down to recklessness of the Tories. Labour will never, ever let that happen!"
