One of my high school teachers once asked our class a question. He said, If most of our class has a failing grade, who do you think is at fault: the students or the teacher?' Our class answered, 'the students,' but he said, 'Wrong, it's the teacher.' He explained, 'Think about it, if most of the class fails, that means the teacher didn't teach the class properly, and that's why the class failed. And that really made me appreciate that teacher.
My bad proffessors do these things: - brag for half an hour about how we are stealing our country's money if we are late to the lecture for 2 minutes (we have free education here) - teach antiscientific sht that can be proved wrong by a single google search - complain how we have such an easy life these days compared to what they've been through when they were students - read the entire lecture and make us write the whole thing down even though they are literally reading from a sheet of paper that is in front of them - don't respond to any emails, like we are literally not allowed to send them anything - threaten to expell us for not using correct font in our assignments properly (I'm an engineering student btw) Mr. M, YES I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU
Don’t forget them being FAR to strict and act like its just their job to tell u stuff rather than keep u engaged to. The best teacher i ever had was chill and used to be a drama teacher so
Just finished my spring semester last week, had the most annoying professor and old school for college algebra and algebra support, she would read off slides, send plain emails, complain that she doesn’t wanna be there and that she needed the money to pay bills, belittle students and if you weren’t her favorite you don’t get to use notes on your exams. I wasn’t her favorite since I didn’t speak a lot. I did most of the learning at home since I understood it better with tutors and videos. Either way I hated that woman! She would also make snide remarks at you and walk off
College professor make way more money than grade school teachers, don't they? So why the hell is she complaining? Also, she chose that job and makes it a you problem? Screw her 😒
Ikr my science teacher in highschool said only 2 people got above a 70% on the test. Like that seems like a teacher problem if almost the entire class failed your test. And she even tried to say we shouldve been studying when she literally only gave us 2 days before the test and we were all studying as much as we could in our free time
It depends on the class, because they can teach one class well and one class not so well. They could also change things up and fail at the changes. RMP shows what classes the reviwers took, so be mindful. Most of the time, it's consistent but hopefully you don't get a situation where the easier classes are taught well and the upper level classes aren't.
This basically summarized my experience in my animation course, he'd want us to watch his lecture videos and wouldn't really answer questions just make us go back to the video
@@boomer8760 sometimes you can tell that they don't revise the work and sometimes don't understand concepts. One of my maths teachers taught us wrong concepts, my physics and chem teacher left out entire sections and all my English teacher did was read summaries of our set books without even bothering to explain any extra details like analogies and metaphors
I once stood up and walked out of a class in the middle of a teacher bragging about how hard the class was. He mocked me saying "oh so its too hard for you already" and I said "You just told me you can't teach and most students fail as a result. If a company said they only have an 20% production rate, the company would be considered failure, not the workers who weren't taught correctly. I'd rather pay for a teacher who knows the curriculum." He looked like a fish out of water. Several other students got up and left after that as well.
It sometimes depends. Some proffessors have REALLY good slideshows/syllabus, and they might share (sell?) them to other affiliated/befriended proffessors
@@jonathandemiguel1458 I mean, yeah, that's possible, but I personally find that most professors who rely on the slideshows only to explain aren't very good at teaching. If it were about reading off a slideshow that includes the same information as the textbooks, why don't the students just do it themselves? Professors who're actually good at explaining can read the information if a slideshow as well, but they'll explain and provide examples. It shows that they're capable of explaining well, and it gives an air of professionalism when you have information to tell that isn't stated on the slides.

I have a teacher that's kind of like this, except that she brags about how many students came crying and dropped off because of her. I was never one to cry in public places especially in a classroom but I felt so overwhelmed when she announced that my homework was missing even though I passed it. This has happened before, but this was the only time where I felt really upset.
I have multiple high school teachers like this but the only way to drop the class is to drop down a level... And they're the only teacher of the class for all four years
It's even worse when it's a mandatory class you pretty much have to take at a set semester otherwise you're not going to be able to progress i.e. Statics at sem. 2, Solid Dynamics at sem. 3, then Fluid Dynamics at sem. 4, ...
My old uni did require a syllabus but almost entirely banned slideshows. The only time we ever used a projector and a television was in laboratory and even then, televisions were only a very recent addition when I went through. Also pretty much none of the classes were done as a lecture. Oh and dropping a class was kind of unheard of due to it being kinda impossible
I had a professor that didn't do much of a syllabus, didn't use canvas, and never gave us grade updates throughout the semester. Anytime someone asked her for a grade update she said it was our job to keep track of our grade, not hers. She didn't give any work back until the very end of the semester so we went through the whole semester BLIND. She claimed that we should have an idea of where our grades were based on how much effort we put into our assignments. She would always say "you know what you did and didn't do, base your grade off that". I wanted to drop the class so badly but my family wouldn't allow it. When I got all my assignments back at the end of the semester everything was looking like I had earned a C in the class... BUT when I looked at my transcript, the woman gave me a D. I was FURIOUS. Needless to say I retook the class the next semester with a different teacher and I got an A in the class. Fellow college students, if you can help it, DO NOT SETTLE FOR A BAD TEACHER.
I had a Spanish teacher my sophomore year of high school, highest grade anyone in that class graduated with was a C, thank god he wasn’t there my junior year
I have a teacher like this in UK secondary school. I usually get good grades (normally top 2 in the class) and this teacher drives me insane. They use someone else's slides which are usually completely wrong for our age/what area we are mostly supposed to cover. When the test rolls around for that subject, I have to learn the entire topic at home from scratch in a week, because they failed to teach us it. Sadly I can't just 'drop' the class.
This is what happened to me for my first college class, I started taking college classes during the day to replace some of my high school classes and my first English 101 was exactly like this and I failed because she marked an essay that I turned in as missing and she didn’t use the online program she was supposed to and went off curriculum so there was nothing the higher ups could do 😢
I once asked my Science teacher if she could send me some past year paper so that I can have more preparation for the test the next day. She left me on read.
Dude I had my hindi exam and the syllabus was yet to be confirmed, I texted my teacher at 6pm asking for the final portion and she said "yea Im out I'll send later" .......🙂the exam was literally the next day tf

Back in 7th grade I remember I had a teacher who bragged to us about how hard his class is during 6th grade and how he would make our life a living hell and during 7th grade on the first day he mostly yelled at us about stuff we did last year and then he sent us a slide show about the rules and expectations of 7th grade and I ended up asking him if he had charts that showed what was due and when things were happening and he just told me to figure it out and to this day I don't really know what he meant
I had a teacher like this in 7th grade. She was my least favorite teacher I’ve ever had. The unfortunate thing is, you can’t drop 7th grade honors math. So I was stuck with this woman for an entire year. Glad I never have to have her as my teacher again.
In defense of shared slides, for some beginner level or 101 classes, departments require professors to use some of the same provided course material so that they can share assessments, and support services (like tutoring or labs) regardless of the individual professor. But usually a good professor will have additional materials and go more in depth than just reading off the slides
I actually had this type of teacher when i was in 5th grade. One time, i emailed him some questions regarding the topic, and to this day he still hasnt responded. He also graded students by how good their handwriting is, and doesn't care even if their answers are incorrect. If their handwriting is good, they will still get a good grade (I was the kid that always had good grades). He often leaves the class and rarely teaches the students, and other teachers have to help him educate me and my classmates, but they dont even put that much effort into it. He kept comparing my classmates and i to his previous class, saying that even though his previous class was dumb, we (my entire class) was even dumber. He used to always cold call this one kid that was pretty stupid ngl. He was also pretty bad at math. I was the smart kid back then, and he always asked for my answers since i was smart. Im truly surprised how the entire class managed to graduate..
My first year linear algebra professor was exactly like that. The worst part was how he told us the first day of clas how he hoped we all failed. Dropping out was a great option.

I swear C++ for me isn't my liking at all, I chose IT course just because its demanding and I don't know what course should I take until I realised recently that I like any business course (except Accountancy) as I'm an ABM student
@@Minavis_Penguin C++ has to be my favourite language, despite its difficulty. It's really powerful and expressive compared to other languages. And memory management isn't as difficult as people make it out to be (not to mention that C++ with the STL makes 90% of memory management pretty unnecessary for most applications), it's only blown out because of the memes.
Yeah, i also like godot and gdevelop!
I had a teacher like this. She would constantly leave out details that we needed and assign work on completely different things. She said she allowed redos but when students asked for her to reassign work she reassigned the wrong things
These are very helpful details For people starting college
Been watching your vids since tenth grade, next year I'll be hopping to college and now realized how important your vids truly are, surely gonna rewatch everything
Plot twist:he was the bad teacher
My bad proffessors do these things:
- brag for half an hour about how we are stealing our country's money if we are late to the lecture for 2 minutes (we have free education here)
- teach antiscientific sht that can be proved wrong by a single google search
- complain how we have such an easy life these days compared to what they've been through when they were students
- read the entire lecture and make us write the whole thing down even though they are literally reading from a sheet of paper that is in front of them
- don't respond to any emails, like we are literally not allowed to send them anything
- threaten to expell us for not using correct font in our assignments properly (I'm an engineering student btw)
Mr. M, YES I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU
imo the only people who get to say "back in my day" are those who have been through the great depression
How the fuck does he have a job
Idk why this kind of prof got this teaching job back in the day. Pathetic
calling him a professor is an insult to professors
She would also make snide remarks at you and walk off
Honestly in my opinion she should’ve got fired right away if she wanna complain all the time
@@coolgainz9307 literally, ended up BARELY passing her class, I spoke to the college about her behavior and she started to be nicer to me or ignore me
College professor make way more money than grade school teachers, don't they? So why the hell is she complaining? Also, she chose that job and makes it a you problem?
Screw her 😒
Some teacher really forget that the soviet union ended is done
You can drop classes? DEFINITELY NOTING THAT!
Literally More Then Half Of The Teachers I Had Are Using Google 😂
Heres how. You use rate my professor
Ikr my science teacher in highschool said only 2 people got above a 70% on the test. Like that seems like a teacher problem if almost the entire class failed your test. And she even tried to say we shouldve been studying when she literally only gave us 2 days before the test and we were all studying as much as we could in our free time
@@shmuberthadoukendepends tbh. If that’s an AP test that’s college credit, but that’s certainly crazy without a weighting system

It depends on the class, because they can teach one class well and one class not so well. They could also change things up and fail at the changes.
RMP shows what classes the reviwers took, so be mindful. Most of the time, it's consistent but hopefully you don't get a situation where the easier classes are taught well and the upper level classes aren't.
but the web only in the US,and a few big uni in england
This basically summarized my experience in my animation course, he'd want us to watch his lecture videos and wouldn't really answer questions just make us go back to the video
That’s my high school physics class man just has us watch videos he recorded 10 years ago
And makes us work together to figure it out and dosent tell us if we got the answer right or wrong
Bro this guy actually helped me with school thanks man
My brother thanks a ton your videos are helping me through middle school. Love from texas
“Students fail here”
“Yeah because they drop out on how bad u are”
That's like every high school teacher
Fr, my school teachers not even profesional. Only some people with title, except math and economy. Their knowledge not even that good and wide.

You know it's real bad when they gotta read of slides that aren't even theirs lmao.
Depends if the professor who actually wrote the slides is just a colleague that teaches another class or not.
Literally 99% of my teachers
In my country we don’t have collage, I go to middle school and my English teacher is like this, not exactly but yeah😅 She says that if we get like 5 questions wrong we fail😢 It’s so fricking annoying
I had one like that in my first year of college and everyone hates him and told him this is slick ways that he wouldn't even understand. I just didnt wanna continue and told him about it.
Turned out he never got any feedback from his students and also didn't get mad at me since he actually knew what the rest of the students were saying. Now he is the best professor ever
Instructions unclear I have now dropped all of my classes and am flunking
If you want to stay in college, find classes that you can pass. Keep your grades up for now. You can then either come back to these harder classes later, or change major.
If this isn't right for you, then you don't have to do it, but it worked for me. I graduated late but with honors. Best wishes.
Not all professors are like this, if they are you’re going to a horrible college.
ThErE iS nO SuCh tHinG oF a BaD TeAcHEr. -Teacher's pet
I have multiple high school teachers like this but the only way to drop the class is to drop down a level... And they're the only teacher of the class for all four years
It’s even worse, when he is the only professor who teaches this class💀
Telling the class not alot of students pass is basically the same as telling them you suck at teaching
Mine is just EVERY DAY, EVERY CLASS, he assigns notes where the dealine is LITERALLY TOMMOROW😭
My Ancient Greek professor is EXACTLY like this
It's even worse when it's a mandatory class you pretty much have to take at a set semester otherwise you're not going to be able to progress
i.e. Statics at sem. 2, Solid Dynamics at sem. 3, then Fluid Dynamics at sem. 4, ...
My university requires a syllabus posted before the first class begins.
My high school teacher was like this
I had a Spanish teacher my sophomore year of high school, highest grade anyone in that class graduated with was a C, thank god he wasn’t there my junior year
I have a teacher like this in UK secondary school.
Buddy, you're in secondary. That says a lot.
I mean if you're not Yr 10 going into Yr 11 you can drop it when you either start your GCSE options or changing one of them.
This same thing happened to me
Dude I had my hindi exam and the syllabus was yet to be confirmed, I texted my teacher at 6pm asking for the final portion and she said "yea Im out I'll send later" .......🙂the exam was literally the next day tf
This is just my middle school biology teacher rn.
I have a professor that say B every second☠️
My teacher is gonna be a bad one tomorrow when she gives us this test - more like a blank paper for us to write the words and definitions. 😬
My Spanish teacher is like this, but we can't drop out... To make things worse he humiliates all students... Good luck to anyone else in this situation 👍👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿
How did he humiliate the students
He talks out loud about how Bad some students are at revising individually, tells the whole class if someone has a bad grade ect
That's like half of my high school teachers.
You describe my honors bio class HS except she doesn't cold call she asks the entire class and no one can answer 😭 I tried switching they won't let me
my math teacher is actually worse as he just says that we should do some exercices without even explaining how to do those, and when he explains he explains so badly everyone just need to search it on youtube or see the book
Omg u help me so much with studying keep this hard work on❤
What is a cold call
I am no profesinal therapist but you can feel free to vent to me and i will try to help
My school had a rule where ALL teachers HAD to COLD CALL 🥶 🧊 ☃️ 😔

Just pretend your writing something when they are looking for someone to call they usually wont disturb you
But what if your attendance is cut because all your damn professors are like THIS??!?!
You use your phone and earbuds to watch lectures from other sources in the same class, for the same topic.
Bro l have a teacher like this she is like in first day she doesnt asked our names just said hi kids its our first day doesnt means we cant do lesson open your books and after we finished the class in the next class she said you guys cant do anything you are just a failure and cant pass lgs(a quiz to go to highscool) and started swearing and when she is angry does this to us for no reason and always playing candy crush and if one student makes bad thing he got detention to all of us and her classes are like that she says take notes when l am talking and l start taking notes and she sweared at me and said dont take notes listen me and l am listening the teacher and she sweared at me again and said why dont you take notes
Living in turkiye is hard
Gohar could you do a video on how should you take notes if you don't normally do so

The most hated teacher I have is my math teacher. She will always be yelling at students literally in the morning, like 7 A.M. She does it when she sees students with their phones or when no one isn't knew an answer to a math problem.
Well you are using smartphone and not listening to her ofcourse she will be pissed plus she is teaching you guys math ,you have to answer her questions so that she will know that students were listening to her and paying attention to her class . If she teaches 'bad' then it is her fault if not then the problem is you guys

Bro you literally described the teacher i had in the previous semester. He was pain in the butt. But i woeked my ass off and got alpha (A+)😎in that Subject (Computer Organization and Assembly Language). I just wish that he won't become our teacher again in the next semester.
In our early days with this teacher, he was literally bragging about how he failed many students from other semesters and departments and will do the same to us
He did failed half of my class😢.
If only i could do this in highschool 😔
Sounds like every professor I got.
Ok what if ur not from america and cant freaking drop the class 💀
Back in 7th grade I remember I had a teacher who bragged to us about how hard his class is during 6th grade and how he would make our life a living hell and during 7th grade on the first day he mostly yelled at us about stuff we did last year and then he sent us a slide show about the rules and expectations of 7th grade and I ended up asking him if he had charts that showed what was due and when things were happening and he just told me to figure it out and to this day I don't really know what he meant
All my professors cold call 💀
Thats why all classmates either have anxiety or don't get enough sleep
I had a teacher like this in 7th grade. She was my least favorite teacher I’ve ever had. The unfortunate thing is, you can’t drop 7th grade honors math. So I was stuck with this woman for an entire year. Glad I never have to have her as my teacher again.
There are many teachers like that
And then they expect us to get good grades😂😂😂
If most students fail his class objectively that makes him bad at his job
I wish this guy was my teacher
The teachers are hated for no reason 😅
Bro our history teacher is literally him he just reads of the slides and we only do texbooks
Every teacher at my uni
STOPPP U JUST DESCRIBED MY SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER 😭
literally my english teacher at 9th and 10th grade, it was the same teacher which of course sucks
took physics this year for my freshman science. my professor did every single one of these things.
Hearing stories like this makes me so thankful I’ve yet to have a professor this bad
In defense of shared slides, for some beginner level or 101 classes, departments require professors to use some of the same provided course material so that they can share assessments, and support services (like tutoring or labs) regardless of the individual professor. But usually a good professor will have additional materials and go more in depth than just reading off the slides
I had a teacher like this but in 8th grade 😭she ended up having to transfer all her geometry classes to another teacher bc of all the complaints
You drop classes? Bro i just deal with it and pass it😭
