- In this video I talk about how X-Force 1 hit the top of the covrprice charts! A thirty year old dollar bin mass produced 90's book...is still kicking. How is that the case? I discuss in this video.
Do you guys think its concerning that copper books continue to top charts? Would it be better if modern comics were doing that? In the 90's Wizard used to be the "hot list" and those books were all "new"...now it seems like "new" comics rarely break through.

I will never sell my second print, signed by Liefeld. Not JUST because it's worthless, but because of nostalgia.
I wanna read and collect comics, but when i go into my LSC on wednesdays all the "new" stuff is cringe. A "new team" just debuted and it has zero resemblance to the x-men 97 show or merch that everyone loves. The way to get the fix is by buying, collecting, reading bronze and copper age. Its not nostalgia for me. I'm a new fan. But the new / current product just isn't my jam. and copper age X-Men might be 30+ years old , but its new to me. and awesome!
Early 1970s to mid 1970s Detective Comics/Batman titles are to me the peak, the epitome of Batman comics. So I understand why you favour the bronze/copper x-men runs, certain eras in certain titles just hit different.
I found one of these in an abandoned house about ten years ago, still in the poly bag. Saw it as a sign of good luck so every time I saw one over the years, I’d pick up another for 50 cents or so. I have DOZENS of them 😅
Nostalgia sells. The 90s are ready to be relived......for a price!
I used a lot of my copies for toilet paper during COVID, but, luckily, I still have 193 copies left. Whew. Still bagged in the original poly bags, too! I'm gonna be RICH!

I got my copy over the winter. Yes, it came with Deadpool rookie card! I love the wrap around cover! I'm stoked for the movie 🍿🍿 🔥
If you were a collector in the 1990s you have a couple of X Force issue 1. Some open some with the cards in a polly bag.
The poly bags can create lines / imprints on the book so I unbagged .
Not to mention the card may get imprinted too if it was under the seam(gem mint 10 out the window)

I found a polybagged VF/NM copy with a Deadpool rookie card for $10 and a 2nd print VF/NM for $ 8 at the end of last year.. I love the covers and just happy that ppl are still showing interest in the hobby.. 90’s books are classics too!

I don't want a polybagged version because the bag eventually damages the book. What's important is the book ,not the bag, nor the card.
Those stats can't be true.
Stopped at an LCS in 2020 and looked thru their $2.00 bin. Found a NM Marvel Comics Presents #1 AND an X-Force #!. Yeah, no big deal. But flipped it over to check out the card and it was Deadpool. (I already had 6 of the DP card issues at home) --But wait...it had TWO DEADPOOL CARDS in it!! Very cool IMHO! This is the kind of error I like to find! --Leaving it "as is" for a while to see if it's got enogh extra added premium for that.
I sold my bagged copy on Ebay a couple weeks ago (with the Cable card) for $20. Couldn't believe it.
I picked up a polybagged x-force with deadpool card for a dollar a few weeks ago. NEVER SELLING!
Gen X wants nothing to do with those books. But all those kids born after these books came out probably want them just because they are cheap and legendary. That's why X-Men 1 and Spider Man 1 still sell well.
I will stick with my ff48 9.6. asm 129 9.6 and hero for hire 9.6........x force 1 haha. keep it

I think it’s cool that it got hot! I don’t think it is much spec at all. There are still a lot of people who have never had the book. And why not if you don’t have it?! I have seen a lot in dollar bins, but definitely not 9.8’s. Lots of the millions of copies are in the garbage too. It’s pretty damn cool for Liefeld too! All good stuff! What up Mickey! 😁🍻
I just pulled my copy out and noticed the trading card was pilfered
I can't help from believing that the day day of the Polybag will come.back. There are so many of these and other polybag books being removed for the purpose of grading, reading, ect that there may be a day that people start hunting the untouched versions once again. After all collectors are completionists by nature and a removed copy is incomplete
I have a Rob Liefeld signed copy....but he signed on the polybag....so....I'm keeping it bagged.
Couple months ago I bid a $1 on ebay and won Xforce #1 bagged with cable card. Xforce 2 , 10 and 15 got all 4 for a $1.
Crazy.. I have like 6 copies of the book. Got one in the bag with a deadpool card :)
I bought all 5 xforce 1's, at my local shop.
I'm not convinced that Esposito is portraying GW Bridge. Although, the set photos showed that he has pouches. There are just soooooo many copies of this book.

I read manga and comics. I watch anime. I can tell you i don't touch a single superhero book. Younger people do seem to like my hero academia but there aren't many other popular superhero manga. Young people will still read American comics if they are really well written non-superhero books. This is the mass influence anime and manga have had over the past few decades.

I believe people born after 2000 will have no interest in surrounding themselves or collecting toys or comics. Soon there we will have no comic stores, and sadly Toy R Us is gone. Comics and what became before will hold little interest for most. Remember there will always be some collectors, but the numbers will severely drop. Plus why do we care, we will be dead.
Yeah, they'll collect shoes, old electronics, CDs, and other weird stuff.
