@@rahmanmadison4967 it's all good 👍! Thank you for the reply bro, yea I was a little worried about the mileage on it, but I read they last long and super reliable.. and you just gave me the go...., I'm getting it! Lol
This is awesome. Almost everything mechanically wise, that he's added and changed, i have wanted to do for my 03 chevy avalanche. But now i have more ideas inspired by this guy! Thanks for the video! I would also add a bigger cam for more power and torque and possibly a snorkel. Delete the cat(s) and make it a straight pipe with the "X" or "H" cross section so it doesn't sound like shit or have any back fires. Also needs a classic cherry bomb muffler. The snorkel is still out for more scrutinizing before i go that far. I don't imagine or plan on going in any deep water over 3 feet. If anything just a cold air intake and needs a turbo charger. That will help with the extra weight and size of the wheels and bumpers and suspenden
awesome truck. i have the same but in black. would definitely recommend the projector retrofit on the headlights. the front light bar is out of this world lol.
I'm basically a new subscriber and wow you've been doing good content for like a while, nice review and nice Avalanche I don't usually like heavily modified vehicles but this one's looking great. Love Avalanches.
I have to admit, when he said the bumper is solid iron, I thought he must be an idiot. As the video went on though, I was super impressed by him and his rig.
Walter Sigona yeah Walter, using the Ipad with the bluetooth dual GPS is really bulletproof. And LeadNav is amazing, while there are some services that you will have to pay for as annual subscriptions, like the map downloads, it is totally worth it. It even comes with an additional premium service which acts as your co-pilot on a trophy truck, it will give you voice markers and instructions as to how far to the next turn, which way the turn is, and so on, of course given that you have a pre-run gpx file that you upload for that trail or track. I believe this setup beats any GPS head unit out there, no matter the brand.
@@henrywit6147 hey! bought it on amazon, it's this exact one: Dual Electronics XGPS160 Multipurpose Universal 5 Device Bluetooth GPS Receiver with Wide Area Augmentation System and Portable Attachment you can copy and paste onto amazon and you will see it. It works amazing, same model commercial plane pilots use to track their travels. I use it while I go off roading whether im on my truck or on my Dirtbike. Lasts all day long too.
Great content!! Want to start over landing with family a 5 yr old, 9,13, and wife will tow a Conqueror UEV440, on the market buying a vehicle, I can't decide between a used 2012 4door Rubicon already customized, or a cheaper 2012 Z71 lifted Avalanche, I've seen your transition from a jeep to a full size what should I do in your opinion, I know every situation is different but I'm brand spanking new to this, do not know where to start..🤔 Thanks!
Can you please put me in contact with this owner? I have a 2002 avalanche that i am trying to find a long travel kit for. I am interested in asking him how the kit feels on his truck.
Nice!!!!!Avalanche I love it I have a 2002 and I just bought a 52 bar for my roof can you please tell me what mounts you used I've gone everywhere and no one is able to help please let me know thank you

Mpg highway sounds like we'll most car peeps as ask what kind of motor it's more fun than any of the Chevelle I've had and more work this year Capt badfeet 🤪 Sarasota Florida
Wow that is a cool truck. I just got an Avalanche 2012 but have an 02 Suburban that might make a cool project car. It would be great to list the mods (there are lot) in the comments. Great job. I just stumbled on this channel!
WxGuy hi, I had to put 2.5 inch spacers in the front, because the tires would hit the upper arm when you turned the wheels all the way out. And to make it look a bit better, I added a 2 inch spacer in the rear for a better stance look. The offset on the actual wheels are -38mm, cheers!
sumofl yep, with a few more upgrades now, Detroit rear locker, 4.88 gear upgrade front and rear, and tuned ECM. running strong! and now using the General X3 new tires. I just hit the Coyote Lower Canyon a few weeks ago in borrego springs. Next I’ll be at the Truck Haven on January 19th in Ocotillo, CA, so look around for the White avalanche! Haha!
Pedro Caban Hi, no I didn't, GM actually designed the their trucks for dual battery setups, the tray and placement of the second battery is optional but OEM design and parts. And the stock alternator works just fine, even with the stock cable. But I do have in my list to upgrade the alternator cable that charges the battery, just to make it easier for the current to flow, as the stock cable is rather thin. In any case, both batteries are being charged without any issues, and I've had this dual battery setup for 5 months now.
Weak link is the hubs. GMT800 front axle max is 3950lbs. Reserve capacity on stock 1500 6 lug is less than 200lbs. Bumber and winch are to much weight. Nobody makes a HD hub for 6 lugs. 35's are a death sentence for any 1500 truck off roading. This should be a 2500 Avalanche.
hey man, thanks for the observation. Yes, I had to change the stock hubs because they developed play in them. I put on the best I could find, Mgoose ones. But you are right, there are not HD hubs for the 1500 trucks, which sucks. probably will have to change the hubs every 30k miles. its ok, its like 70usd per hub including labor. the front hubs are the ones that really get banged up, specially because of the additional 2.5 inch spacers I was forced to use, thanks to the tire hitting the upper arm if installed without wheel spacers... but hey, nothing perfect in this world, however, still rides better than ANY 2019 Chevy factory truck PERIOD. Haha.
nice to see an Avalanche lifted and not lowered
Agree!
Agree!
Mines got a 4inch suspension lift on some, big ol mud tires.
azrwilkinson I mean lowering it defeats the whole purpose of calling it a truck tbh
I agree..lol I got a 09 on 33 mud tires and a o2 2500 8.1 496ci avalanche and love both trucks
I have never expected to see an avalanche looking that good, and that functional. Awesome rig!
This thing is a beast and I'm happy for the owner, he sounds like a cool dude to be around. Great video as always.
He was a great guys and he has built a great rig! Thanks!
Everyone likes seeing the jeeps but, keep the trucks coming too!
Thank you!
I second that!
nicest avalanche I have ever seen. longest lightbar on a bullbar I have ever seen
that led on the bullbar looks funny.
Yeah a 20 inch would look a lot better.
i like it, it's kind of unique- whatever -but I think it looks really good
Bernard Roman yeah I'm not a fan of that
Looks funny sure but man it’s probably useful, it sounds like he’s doing a lot of nighttime off-roading and that light is probably super useful
Good looking Chevy, and those lower control arms!!!
His suspension is amazing!!
I just bought an old Chevrolet Avalanche 2004. And I have a lot to do! Good luck with everything! Greetings from Russia!

Thanks for showcasing the Chevy's! Been thinking about outfitting a Tahoe for Overlanding. This gives me hope!
Can't wait to get my 2011 Avalanche looking like this. Nice!!! Love everything on the truck.
Dustin Stanford this is 2003 if ur getting a 2011 then yours will look more like a Tahoe
Ive been noticing a lot more lifted avalanches in my neck of the woods lately.
this Avalanche is sweet! gonna take a few viewings to take it all in. i appreciate y'all listing the modifications in the description.
I really dig this Chevy, Well thought out upgrades.
I have the same exact truck and going for the same look. Thanks for the video!!!
Love my 02 Avalanche,she's very powerful😁
How ya doin, how's the Avy holding up? I'm looking to get an 02 Z71 179k/mi, you think it's worth getting and a lot of life left in the truck?

Big truck. It would be hard on the trails up here because some of our trails are really narrow. Cool to see something different
But for SoCal desert it's a great rig! Thanks!

36 to 38 mpg huh?
ive gotta know
is that suspension a kit, or custom, because Ive been wanting a prerunner avalanche since before I bought my avalanche
Very Kool guy and badass truck
Avalanche done right
Where can I get that suspension I want my avalanche riding like that
really nice truck but that light bar on the bull bar is a bit much
Definitely more of a functional part than form
Very cool..I like it...Thinking about getting one.....Hope its good for towing...
You should look at the 2500 Avalanche to tow with. The 1500 is just over 7k lbs
I wonder if he had the BOSE preamp audio package. There is a preamp unit that is keeping me from upgrading the radio in mine. :/
How does the throttle body spacer and cai fit ..mine is jammed into the fan...
hey, its touching the Shroud, but still plenty of space from the actual fan.
So the silvarado long travel kits do fit the avalanche?
Super duper dope
anyone else notice the intro song is basically crackerman by STP? :)
jaime rodarte it crossed my mind

Vegas dezert fab I'm getting that for my avalanche.
Nice truck!
mines bigger but thats clean.. i gotta do a light bar now
nice rig
Very nice!!
that bar light on the front bumper looks terrible would replace that with 2 circular KC lights or something like those
The narrower rear end is very odd looking to me. Needs spacers.
Hey man I have a great idea. How about online walk arounds so you can meet people and their rigs from around the country. 👍👍👍
Interesting suggestion. Half the fun for me is checking out the rigs up close and meeting the owners. Thanks!
TrailRecon you can spread your channel to reach out too people from across the nation. It was just an idea. Anyway keep up the great work.
I’m stuck between this one and the avalanche 2500
This is cool channel subbed
Thanks and welcome to the channel!
I'm confused.. is this a prerunner or...?
Whatever it is. It's badass and I want it
Beautiful
Any idea how much lift he has? It said he has 14" of travel but that doesn't really say how much lift
This guy is cool
No comment on the 6.0 liter?
Opening music sound a lot like STP ❤️
Nice avalanche. I have one 🤪😘
where did you get your bumper?
What bumber is that?
I’m looking for that front bumper, or one similar too it, please helppp
I’m gunna acquire a 1500 avalanche one day
If he had a shorter light bar he could of mounted it in the grill that would of been sick
i have a 04 and like some advice!
Just gotta state it but he got a 2000lb winch for a 8000lb Truck.. but beautiful Avalanche
The light on the bullbaiting looks odd
I have a sweet avalanche that I’ve been doing very small mods too... but mine’s a z66 :(
I have one too a 2wd but ima make it into a desert rally racer since most pros use a 2wd instead of a 4wd for the speed.
Interesting rendition of Crackerman.
How much lift does he have?
Can anybody tell me where to get that front bumper from? I’m trying to buy that exact one
Iron bull bumpers .com
I just want my brake lines fixed 😩
Wait, we don’t get to hear it?!!!
would that suspension fit a Hummer H3? anyone
