    The quickest and easiest tutorial. My son just kicked my shovel for the first time. He is a man now 😂

    I miss my Pan/Shovel and my 1966 FLH. I think I'll go with a 93-inch S&S Shovelhead engine for my next build. A Baker 6-speed transmission would be nice, as well. Cheers and safe riding to you cats in Oz and in Old Blighty.

      I still mourn the loss of my 54 Pan/Shovel to a fire a couple years ago....but, I still have the cases and bottom end, tranny case and gears....frame, triple trees and sheet metal still.....I have found a shop that will powder coat my frame, with the added n=benefit of stress relieving it....so, it is doable....fortunately I have an old 93 Evo to ride.

    • @walterfechter8080
      @walterfechter8080 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheWolfsnack -- That's awful about the fire and losing your ride. At least you made it through okay. Keep that Evo. They're reliable. Ride safe. Cheers -- Walt Greybeard

      @@TheWolfsnack sorry to hear that, I also have an evo that I’m currently working on. May get a feature on this channel if I’m feeling it. It’s an 1996 fxdwg.

      @@MikeyForLife Nice.....I have a 93 FXDL right now, mostly stockish....OK....stock paint for now...but stage 1 kit, Rumble Stick cam from Headquarters, Screaming Eagle ignition, heads flowed and ported, Andrews gears.....an FXWG front end is in the works down the road. I was putting my own bikes together back in the 70's and built a couple rides like yours. Good job BTW.

    • @hanskonrad5850
      @hanskonrad5850 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @MikeyForLife about how much pass through space between the washer and inside of the pipe. When it's fully closed off ..like maybe 1/2 inch ? 1/4 inch ?

    • @MikeyForLife

      @@hanskonrad5850 I would say about half inch.

    Mikey, constant stream of oil coming out of oil breather when I kick it over. My bike had sat for bout 2months until I fired it up today. Any help is appreciated.

      Sounds like it’s sumping, if you have left it sit maybe the oil check valve is stuck open. Check the oil pump, there is a small ball that needs to seat perfectly or oil will pass through.

    Interesting and Informative, but can someone explain WHY "kickback" occurs?

    • @MikeyForLife
      @MikeyForLife  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When the fuel is ignited and spark happens to early, poor timing causing the engine into a reversed revolution
