    This is the reason why we have to save and actually restore the great Dandaka forest which was the largest forest in ancient India covering Maharashtra, Karnataka, telengana, chattisgarh, Goa etc..
    It is the most dense forest and many legends are related with the dandaka forest including that of lord Hanuman and ramayana...

    Similar type of place also exist at Meghalaya too. Known as balwakol meaning, " Hole of the wind" and can be found at Balpakram National park in south garo hills district. There if you throw some cloth or paper the particular object instead of going below tends to fly upwards because of the heavy presence of the air moving in the upward direction.

    No doubt it's a beautiful scene. But there is no mystery in that. The wind flow is more than cascading water. It's common in rainy season in Matheran, Nana Ghat, Khandala Ghat and all other ghats in Maharashtra. Thanks for reminding of a beautiful memory.

    It's my native place...this is kalu waterfall which is origin of kalu river, it's is believed that the water comes from mahakali's feet. BTW it is a malshej/naneghat region which is border of Konkan and Deccan region..thanks for your recognition!♥️

    You have to watch that from Kalu waterfall. It's 120km from Pune. If you visit Nane Ghat do visit Malshej ghat. Scenary is one of the best.
