My grandsons, ages 4, 5 and 6 absolutely love their papa's (my) Viewmaster! They don't get a lot of screen time, so it's really become something special for them. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Hello! David here From Sebring Florida USA 🇺🇸 Thanks for your video on View masters! I have had a few over the years My favorite sets are from Disneyland Since I have been a Disneyland fan and collector for over fifty years! It is so great that you are into nostalgia I have been since I was 10 years old now I am 66 years old Times fly when you are having fun! I also owned Movie Memories poster shop in Palo Alto California for 25 years and a Flea Market business called David’s Cool Collectibles for a few years Keep up your great work! 😀
Thank you so much for producing such an excellent video - it was so helpful. The View-Master was our internet when we were kids. We got to see the whole world whenever we wanted! I have a model C in the original box - it had a newspaper clipping of Sid Grauman's obituary in it, along with the Hollywood reel set and some others. It's fun to speculate that it might have actually belonged to Sid or a family member. I also have a bakelite "Standard" projector with all the original fare - movie tickets, blank announcements, etc. I need to get more reels though, I only have about 10 or so. Wish there was a way to post photos - would love to share with you. Do you know of any way to date the reels? Thanks again - we are kindred spirits.
I have a huge collection of View-masters that I have collected over the years....

As a kid, I had a friend who had one. His dad was a trucker and would bring reels from all over the country. Thanks for the memories.
I like to see people not snapping the advance lever back. It can crack the shell of the viewer and result in misaligned images.
