I come back too this as I was a former cadet and did drill and marched along side my brothers and sisters! We did an amazing job ! I hope everyone's doing well and life's treating you guys well.
@@pyropylon98 and it sucks when you're trying and there is one waste kid that is slacking off. annoying as hell and they don't even punish em for intentionally throwing...
The lee enfeilds used as Drill purpose rifles had malfuctions and parts were used in other places The Canadian Rangers still used the Lee Enfields, but the 303 british is becoming harder to find, and this summer i was apart of the CSTC Blackdown guard we shot the lee's almost everyday.
It is British army drill...and your comparing cadets to the British army its likely the only drill you've seen of the British army is from a regiment of foot guards...they specialize in drill and it is hammered into them until they get it right...anyway ive got to go polish my boots.

I will say that compared to most units I've seen, this corps has excellent drill.
To be frank drill will never be perfect as there are often a lot of cadets who just won't get it or not care

Winter dress
do you guys do any feildcraft or is it only drill
yes, we do camping and rifle shooting/training..
Why do they salute like the navy?
Ever since the unification of the Canadian Forces, a variation of the Naval style salute was adopted for all elements.
I’m part the RCACS (Royal Canadian Air Cadets) and our Salute is pretty much the same as these Army Cadets.
If this is the right unit.
i am in a cadet core for army it is 20990 lorn scots
12 killing factor ix I'm in 1390 RCAC
What a waste of good Lee Enfields...it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't permanently deactivate them past being able to be recycled
