thanks a lot genuinely bro, your video was the last one i saw before i booked the monte carlo and i believe that nothing is perfect. there are a few small annoying things but it's still a better pick than the japanese sisters.
Really glad to hear that! Completely agree, hope you enjoy your purchase 😀. The annoying parts are definitely tolerable with a few aftermarket modifications. But still one of the better products currently available in this segment.
I am planning to buy kushaq 1.5 mc. I would like to know your opinion about - - roof liner - hard plastic used inside - music system - back seat comfort - fog lamp - reverse camera - ride on mountains
Hey man, sure I’ll share my thoughts below. Roof liner: pretty decent, only negatives I found was the sun glasses holder is not functional/just kept for design. Plus, the sunroof visor when opened makes the sunroof look really ugly. They could’ve surrounded the sides a bit more to make it look premium, but seems like the sunroof was an after thought. Hard plastic: personally not a fan at all, a lot of other cars in the segment are using softer plastic/rubber to make it feel softer. But this definitely doesn’t make it feel premium at all. Music system: music system is average, but does the job very well. Infotainment system was also pretty straight forward to use. Back seat comfort: you can easily fit a family in the back, even two tall adults. They will still have decent leg room and space (tried with 6ft passengers myself). Fog lamp: personally don’t use the fog lamps at all, but I think they shouldn’t have gone with halogen bulbs. Reverse camera: it’s average, does the job. You can watch my videos to see the clips of the camera during the night time. Ride on mountains: uphill the car is absolutely fine, the car has a lot of low end torque so you won’t need to worry about slowing down on turns while going uphill. Personally don’t like the gearbox when going on a constant down hill as the gearbox tends to rev a bit higher. The car as per Indian standards and Indian car market is very good, feels the most premium compared to its competitors. The safest, plus the sportiest. Kindly keep in mind this is my opinion, others can have different opinions. I may be a bit on the harsher side as I am mainly used to driving German/premium cars. But definitely a good product. Try joining our online owners club on Facebook. You’ll get to hear more from owners.
Hello Sir, please suggest between these two : kushaq 1.0 at ambition OR XUV300 W8(o) diesel ? Both cost me around the same price! (As I work for VW group, I get a discount of around 15%) which is your personal pick ?
Hi Gautam, my ownership experience has been more on the positive side. Ofcourse there are little nigs and nags that I don’t like. But I believe no car is perfect, and alot of cars in this segment can have similar issues since these are all first batch vehicles. Air conditioning has been flawless! I live in a colder state, so it worked perfectly fine. A lot of people that are facing this issue are in much warmer states 30-35°C.. and if I’m not mistaken, the service center has announced a fix for the AC not working well in warm weather. When it comes to long ride comfort, the suspension is amazing! A little too stiff for my preference, but definitely not a bad place to be in. If you are more on the chubby side, definitely take it for a long term test drive. Due to the bucket like seats, it can get uncomfortable for bigger people. On average, for bumper to bumper traffic I’m getting around 10kmpl. In city driving I’m getting around 13-15 kmpl. And on highways I’m getting around 17-20kmpl. (Keep in mind that the first service is not done yet! and to get similar stats, it highly depends on your driving and environmental conditions. Infotainment system is good, haven’t faced any issues as such. Very responsive, apple car play works good aswell. VW/skoda has killed it with the tech..
Hi bro i am planning to buy skoda kushaq or creta or grand vitara. My budget is Basic model only.. l already owned i20.. tell me which is good share your view brother
Hi Vignesh, in my opinion I think the creta is too common now… Kushaq has gotten a much higher safety rating in the global crash tests taken place recently. All the options you have selected are good in terms of reliability. Mechanically the kushaq is a better drivers car, it has a more premium engine and transmission if you select the automatic variants… I’d only recommend to take a long term test drive if you can for all the models. The kushaq is on the more sportier side with a much stiffer suspension. While the others have a softer setup presenting a more comfortable experience on bad roads. If you plan on owning it short term, the kushaq will have the worst resale value out of the three options. However if it’s long term, it’s a pretty solid car. Parts are also slightly more expensive compared to the other 2 options. Keep in mind, all the cars you have selected are new. So all of these will be going through some common issues which you should check on their respective owner groups on FB. For me my kushaq has been super reliable, no EPC issues at all. All those issues were fixed after jan 2022 models. From time to time you can get interior rattling noise but the solution has already been found for that. The others models may present better technology and seat designs, but I stuck with the kushaq simply for its higher safety standards and premium street presence compared to the rest.
@@alishah997 woww thanks a lot bro for detail explanation very kindddd I liked everything in skoda one thing it bothers me is bad roads.. the reason of selling i20 is so much shaking.... what you think of bad road experience is it so much shaking compare to other cars (creta , etc) and i saw some video 1.0 liter tsi engine giving some though competition to creta turbo... and any idea of milleage
@@Vignesh-yv6ct the kushaq does not shake on bad roads, the car is still very much planted. Issue is that it feels a little too volatile and you need to take it slowly over potholes. Maybe for base variants the alloy might be smaller and might handle better in those situations. My 1.5L is giving me around 10-15L in city and 17-21 on highways. The 1L is known to give more compared to the 1.5L. Join the FB group, all the owner share their thoughts and issues
XUV700 offers best tech in the Indian automotive industry period. Only downside for me is that it is not a 4x4 and top option only comes as all wheel drive. Scorpio on the other hand can be used for tougher roads and really bad terrains, literally built for Indian roads. The state I’m from has really bad roads, and I probably would’ve gone for the scorpio N. If you need a car for city driving in luxury and comfort, the XUV is your best option. If you want to occasionally go off-road and be headache free without fearing getting stuck, stick with scorpio. Realistically now speaking, both options have a very long waiting period. Scorpio is also a “newer model”, so will not get replaced with a facelift anytime soon. The XUV has already been in the market for sometime now
@@alishah997 my budget is 22 lakh max and xuv700 does not have alot of features like wireless charger or even a normal type c. No ventilated seats. No apple carplay. Hii Ali...had already booked the same version of the kushaq.. Should I go ahead with it or do I need to choose from other options available ?? Wat is your overall value for money quotient about this car ??
Hi Vishal, have you testdriven/considered any other options? In my honest opinion, one of the main reasons why I chose my kushaq over a creta/seltos was simply because skoda provided a better product mechanically (engine and transmission) and in terms of safety. The kushaq is definitely a very good product, however I did find the suspension a little too stiff for my liking. Aswell as the seats being a little uncomfortable on longer drives. I wouldn’t say the 1.5MC is good value for money, one of the biggest reasons why I chose the Monte Carlo over the style variant was for the digital clusters. The normal style variant’s now will come with a digital cluster aswell. Skoda has done a lot of cost cutting compared to their more premium models, I’d recommend to join our online Facebook community to know some of the current issues people are facing. I feel like the creta and seltos has also become over bought and has become very common now. If you want more value in the kushaq, go for the normal 1L model.
