- This video is a compilation of the best Porsche Carrera GT exhaust sounds I have recorded the last few years. In this video you can hear the start up sound from the V10 engine, some very loud revs and accelerating scenes. Just listen to the V10 engine sound, it's amazing! Maybe the best V10 ever made?

I'm not fond of the LFA's sound, but that's just me.
m5 and m6 V10 is awesome as well, especially with an aftermarket exhaust

***** is it because of the gearbox?, yeah but we are talking about the best v10 exhaust notes though, i have to agree with you on the f12 that exhaust note is just amazing
i am going to have to agree with you the m6 e63 was a heavy car, i always preferred the e60 m5, that engine always was meant to be fitted to a 4 door saloon, the gearbox did have issues but the whole driving experience would just dominate everything so you would forget about the gearbox.
The new m3/m4 is just amazing, it did a 1/4th of a mile in just 8.6 seconds and is just 1.7 seconds slower than the camaro zl1 around laguna seca racetrack, actually the exhaust note is good for an inline 6 if you have the eisenmann exhaust or M performance exhaust added to it

@@osamabinladen824 in f1 the v10s and v12s were the vest sounding but in normal road cars that goes to big block v8s. Just my opinion

@@whyAzami I’m a muscle car owner. Lexus with the LFA didn’t just build a v10 tho they sent it to the musical department at Yamaha to tune the exhaust note. Cammed v8s are nice but won’t beat the sound of a high revving v10. To each their own.

The Car didn't kill Paul walker, the person who was driving it did. Paul walker wasn't driving, it was his buddy that couldn't control the Speed and power the Carrera
Drip Drop At first I thought that he should have let paul drive if it was too much for him, but the driver was a professional races if I read correctly.
You have to admit that the car itself is terribly small...almost zero chance of survival for a passenger or driver, especially wrecking at high speeds....ijs...

The problem is that this car is available on the used market with zero warning to a potential owner.
And it is not forgiving enough for the general motoring public, regardless of how rich they are.
Porsche needs to recall the car to change the suspension alignment for safety or even install stability control, then overconfident financial advisers cant kill iconic movie stars. After that there is nothing stopping owners from putting it back to stock but I personally doubt mister rich boy Rodas knew what kind of a dangerous car he was driving.
Probably one of the best sounds ever ! Too bad it was a bit too quiet stock...
***** I always thought it had a perfect balance of volume through the revs, sounds perfect when it's opened up. Can still hear it from miles away, though. :)

According to forums and people that drove a Carrera GT, it’s very difficult to find the sweet spot in the clutch, it’s a very small and light one

Me too, but a 918 spyder is still an amazing piece of car. And definitely a car that would be put in my massive garage if I was a billionare. 918 Spyder, McLaren P1, LaFerrari, Carrera GT, Enzo, SLR McLaren, F40, F50, McLaren F1, Mercedes SLS, Pagani Zonda, Koenigsegg (any of them to be honest), Veyron, Ford GT, Lexus LFA... One can dream!

In my opinion, the greatest sound and design combined in one car. The frequency of the sound is so unique, not that loud but you can hear it from miles away. Pleasant and high-pitched, yet balanced. And man, does that flywheel spin. Orgasmic upshifts and downshifts. Revs, revs and revs!
Absolutely love this car. Surely one of the all-time greats.

Personally i think the CGT sounds better, as bit of a better balance.
Also the LFA revs a few hundrets higher if im not mistaken.
It's 2021 and the CGT is still my favorite , the v10 sound 🤤 😍

I fell in love with this car after playing it in Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City when I was a teenager. All these years later, and the Carrera GT is still one of my all time favorite cars. The V10 exhaust note is pure heaven.
One of my favourite cars. I think it has one of the best sounding v10s. Lexus LFA's v10 also sounds nice
Absolutely agree, Donny!! The LFA also has a wonderful sounding engine but the CGT is just more ferocious and, i think, more impatient...like its idling it's saying "hurry up...rev the shit out of me!!"

The Carrera is one of those cars you can immediately recognize being behind you by just 1 second of noise from their V10 in action.

This is one of the few road going Porsches engine notes that I really like. Scratch that, I absolutely love it!! I'd put it on my top 5 list with ease. That is one sexy sounding machine. The other Porsche that I'm in love with is the old 917 race car, but that is for another list. My oh my... That is amazing!

My dream cars are: Mustang Boss 302, 1982 Porche 911 turbo, Porche Carrera GT and Lamborghini Muira. 3 of them becuase I love the noise and the looks, and the '82 911 becasue I think it would make a good rally-cross car, which I want to compete in sometime in my life.

Imagine a Carrera GT redone with awd, a dual clutch transmission and more amplified soundtrack without changing the character of the sound. Being more accessible, we'd get to hear this incredible engine better.
