i am going to have to agree with you the m6 e63 was a heavy car, i always preferred the e60 m5, that engine always was meant to be fitted to a 4 door saloon, the gearbox did have issues but the whole driving experience would just dominate everything so you would forget about the gearbox. The new m3/m4 is just amazing, it did a 1/4th of a mile in just 8.6 seconds and is just 1.7 seconds slower than the camaro zl1 around laguna seca racetrack, actually the exhaust note is good for an inline 6 if you have the eisenmann exhaust or M performance exhaust added to it

You have to admit that the car itself is terribly small...almost zero chance of survival for a passenger or driver, especially wrecking at high speeds....ijs...
The problem is that this car is available on the used market with zero warning to a potential owner. And it is not forgiving enough for the general motoring public, regardless of how rich they are. Porsche needs to recall the car to change the suspension alignment for safety or even install stability control, then overconfident financial advisers cant kill iconic movie stars. After that there is nothing stopping owners from putting it back to stock but I personally doubt mister rich boy Rodas knew what kind of a dangerous car he was driving.
In my opinion, the greatest sound and design combined in one car. The frequency of the sound is so unique, not that loud but you can hear it from miles away. Pleasant and high-pitched, yet balanced. And man, does that flywheel spin. Orgasmic upshifts and downshifts. Revs, revs and revs! Absolutely love this car. Surely one of the all-time greats.
If I had the money to put together a dream garage of supercars. there would definitely be a black Carrera GT sitting in there somewhere. Next to a Zonda F and an F40. ;)

And definitely a car that would be put in my massive garage if I was a billionare. 918 Spyder, McLaren P1, LaFerrari, Carrera GT, Enzo, SLR McLaren, F40, F50, McLaren F1, Mercedes SLS, Pagani Zonda, Koenigsegg (any of them to be honest), Veyron, Ford GT, Lexus LFA... One can dream!

Absolutely agree, Donny!! The LFA also has a wonderful sounding engine but the CGT is just more ferocious and, i think, more impatient...like its idling it's saying "hurry up...rev the shit out of me!!"
I fell in love with this car after playing it in Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City when I was a teenager. All these years later, and the Carrera GT is still one of my all time favorite cars. The V10 exhaust note is pure heaven.

This is one of the few road going Porsches engine notes that I really like. Scratch that, I absolutely love it!! I'd put it on my top 5 list with ease. That is one sexy sounding machine. The other Porsche that I'm in love with is the old 917 race car, but that is for another list. My oh my... That is amazing!

Pressure - the key word considering how the CGT exhaust influences the ears. 99% of supercars just fart, ridiculously fart compared to CGT. Check 5:05 when R8 V10 follows CGT to sense that huge difference :)
