Great vid. I wonder if using three clamps, so at any time there are always two holding down the template, would be safer? I can imagine myself cutting half the template, only to have it move while re-clamping it...

I think the fact that you're experienced with the router works in your favor, unlike me.

Oh, those routers can be tricky.
That dash is going to look fantastic.
Regarding your Brigdeport maschine, could this be a help?

BTW. Last weekend i found a dash top panel for my Spitfire MK 3. I also got a set of Dunlop steel rims 5,5 inch wide
and a MK 4 anti roll bar and some other things for some 300£.

+Ulrik Kaul Hi Ulrik thankfully I don't pull that trick very often but routers do bite with out warning. sounds like its spending time on your project to did you get your parts in the UK? . btw the dash is finished photo on my facebook page Jeff Watson.

+greasemonkeygarage watson Found the parts just 40 km away from where i live. He has a bunch of parts. He has several Spitfires witch include his version of a Spit6.
He's even build his own replica of the Spitfire LeMans type witch he's use for racing.
He just bought one of the prototypes of Triumph TR2 that was used for promotion in the US
Nice chap to know, that's for sure.
