I was trying to find a solution to that but I think blind baking will make it harder to add the filling. If I come up with a solution, I'll definitely post!
Can I put the cake tin on top of a wire rake and then place that on the water tray so the tin is not actually sitting in the water, without fail my bottoms always come out soggy
That might work, too. I personally haven't tried it. Have you tried using extra wide foil? That was a game changer for me! I do two layers of the wide foil.
@@TatyanasEverydayFood Hi Tatyana thanks for replying to my message but I’ve found an incredibly different way of doing the water bath, I was going to forward you the link but I don’t know how , but if you search “America’s Test Kitchen” “ how to leak-proof your spring form pan” it’s only a two minute clip but they show you how to place it into a water bath without having to wrap the pan in foil. I also would like to say that from now on when I make any cake I’m heading straight to your site, your cakes are amazing. My next project is your pecan pie cheesecake for my sisters birthday, so I’m going to try the no foil method. Fingers crossed 🤞 p.s your birria tacos look scrumptious
