Yep, got to do the same on my 2110 spyder convert. the window is fine but previous owner did a botch-job on installing it and it's glass as well! You ROCK Sugar!

Miss Jackie, we desperately need your help! My son's 2001 Spyder rear quarter window is stuck all the way down after he dropped the top. We've tried pulling it back up but it won't budge more than a couple inches. Can hear the motor engage until then but can't find any videos on how to replace it.
To be honest I dont know- I would normally say no because your car is a later generation in series but in this case it might actually work because it's a pretty universal solution. As long as the joining material looks similar I would feel confident in using this method. Hope that helps and let me know what you end up doing Im curious!
Hmm you know I don't believe so. The 2001 spyder is part of the 3rd generation eclipse series and I think the 1998 is the 2nd generation. But thank you for the feedback! 😊

I think the only things I'm gonna need to hire someone for is the windshield (unless I can safely get one at the pick n pull) and the paint job lol

yes it still is ahered completely- absolutely no issue so far
