I can see how vulnerable and nervous she is there yet sounds very good! It takes courage to go back on the stage after damaging her voice chords and re-learn singing. She did pretty well~
@@FelipeFelice www.rocksound.tv/news/read/pvris-lynn-gunn-has-opened-up-about-the-issues-with-her-voice-an this article really summed up all that happened, I'm really glad that she recovered from that really bad chapter and is doing music with the rest of the band.

God people can be so rude and judgmental. It’s a rough business to be a vocalist in a band. It wears and tears at your voice. But honestly I think She sounds great and I’m sure the rest of the album will sound great live too.
Why is this song 100x better live than in the studio? Saw them for the first time two days ago and I’m blown away by her. They should release a live album. Her voice is flawless. Sounds even better now than in this video
I feel like an ass because I love pvris, even met them during their second album tour but didn’t realize Lynn had injured her voice until I read the comments here
Endtyme dude I fucking agree, he’s been a touring member from the start pretty much as well, like he literally is a member of band but I swear they refuse to acknowledge it 😂
Morgan Read they consider him a member hence why they all have matching “P” for PVRIS tattoo. He can’t “officially” be a member due to “legal issues” :\\
just a note while reading through the comments a year later. if you're new here and looking for answers, from what i've read lynn didn't have any sort of injury, just a mental block. the yips of singing, if you will. she basically had to start back at square one around the last year of their awkohawnoh album cycle. in the performances she's done on instagram this year, she sounds a lot better. go back to early awkohawnoh and anywhere during white noise and you'll find better onstage performances. idk if anyone's been super rude, but i see a lot of comments encouraging people to stay positive. don't feel bad for criticizing. just keep lynn's vocal troubles in mind before you say anything particularly mean! :)
white noise album before headling shows their shows were amazing. But they legit went a few years with a few breaks like tour after tour after tour. Lynns voice is also shot to hell but shes working on it.
SHE'S HURT AND SHE'S LEARNING TO SING WITH ANOTHER TECHNIQUE ITS BEEN SAID SO MANY FUCKING TIMES, STOP ASKING AND IF YOU DONT LIKE PVRIS LIVE, STICK TO THE STUDIO VERSIONS AND STOP THE BITCHING
Because her vocal chords were damaged and she had to relearn how to sing and is still recovering? Her voice isn't going to be the same for a while, if even ever. So, for how far she's come recovery wise, she's not that bad.
Feel like PVRIS should just pull a late-Beatles and be a recording band. they clearly have musical talent, just not stage presence and lynn's anxiety is so fucking bad it makes her sound like a choked parrot. they write good songs, they sound incredible in-studio. quit touring and wasting money and time on subpar shows. stick to media. PVRIS is a cool concept, but not something to try at home.
I think this band needs to just bite the bullet and use backtracks live. It's a studio band. Lynn can't pull it off live. Can't even enjoy the songs. And they are great songs. They should be made to sound live what they are supposed to sound like, even if you have to turn the singers mic off and make her pretend.
I can see how vulnerable and nervous she is there yet sounds very good! It takes courage to go back on the stage after damaging her voice chords and re-learn singing. She did pretty well~
Omg really? I didn't know that
When did that happen?
RealBloom she damaged her vocal chords?? When and how??

I went to high school with the bassist Brian and it's amazing to see that he accomplished his dream of being in a famous band.

This new material is so amazing. I need to see this band live again so badly.

The live vocals on this are incredible. Better than ever.
Lynn sounding better makes me so happy I can cry, thanks for wring our souls

I’d be so happy to see this group live 🫶🏻🤩
She owns it after a few words. Confidence grows at its own rate.
Por eso y más PVRIS es una de las banda que siempre debes escuchar semana a semana. Thanks for the video
her live vocals are improving so much especially around like 2:05
It looks like her voice has improved a lot. I’m so happy for her. ❤️

I can't believe the fact PVRIS is seriously underrated.
She sounded amazing when your in the crowd
I feel like I just saw your username on another video, do you listen to the Japanese House or Marika Hackman?
Lily L. Yeah I listened to Japanese house
1: she sounds amazing and better than ever 2:i really really like the fact that she doesn't give a shit about not wearing a bra!
the leeds festival is how i found Pvris and i wished i’d wondered into the tent sooner 💜
I can't understand why the drummer it's not a permanent member of the band..it's pretty damn good & it's an esential element of the band sound..

He’s a touring drummer for quite a few bands not just PVRIS.

This is a studio band live is always terrible i mean where is the energy?
white noise album before headling shows their shows were amazing. But they legit went a few years with a few breaks like tour after tour after tour. Lynns voice is also shot to hell but shes working on it.
All I can say is the two times I saw them a couple years ago they were great live
Yo Momma “Never” have energy is inaccurate
That first chorus sounded so underwhelming
I’ll leave it at this... if you’re not a vocalist then don’t say shit because you don’t know shit about anything.
What happened to her voice? Sounds like she got punched in the throat..

she has nodes and she's learning to sing with a different technique... you know how hard that is? most singers that get nodules quit singing.
No energy sadly.👎🙅 .. Love the song tho.
