Whoever mixed the audio for this is a mastermind. All the instruments sound so crisp and none of them drown each other out, hearing that punchy bass guitar at the end contrasted to the high lead is so sick. Plus Lynn's voice sounds as powerful as ever. 👌Perfection

To be honest, half of the parts here are pre-recorded, so it obviously helped to achieve such a good sound.

I was really excited to see PVRIS play this finally in a live performance. I've been a fan since the Paris EP in 2012 and this is one of their best songs.

Without question my favorite PVRIS song of all time, and maybe one of my top 10 favorite songs of all time by anyone.
I wake up to this song every morning. It’s been my alarm since awkohawnoh came out, and I have no plans to change it. This is the PVRIS song that I have the strongest connection with and this live version has me falling in love with the song even more.

@@oo_dxxp_oofor a while after AWKOHAWNOH she basically completely lost her ability due to some mental struggles, so she’s basically had to re-learn it between and while working on Use Me.
She also touches on other medical problems in “Good To Be Alive” that mentions her ankylosing spondylitis diagnosis that happened, since she was experiencing major pain performing due to it. Which no doubt contributed to her inability to sing due to how life changing that kinda thing is

Pvris is so cool because they play with the line of what's wholesome without completely obliterating it. You can remember how it hits that spot that flys under the radar to kids with "you're not aloud to listen to that parents". Opens your mind up to a world of really amazing music.

Fun fact the part about the ghosts and the ceiling being painted baby blue is a reference to an old deep southern tradition where we paint our porch ceiling blue to keep away "Haints" which are bad spirits or ghosts cuz ghosts aka spirits can't cross water and the color of water is symbolized by blue.
