Cool topo wrap would be even cooler if it was an actual giant detailed map of north America, or different parts different regions/states. Not sure if the resolution would be sharp enough for much detail
"Canadian Prepper". I followed him for a short time until I quickly realized that he's an extreme alarmist with BS predictions of doom and gloom! According to him we've all perished or are living in concentration camps 20 times over in the past few years. Complete nutjob!
@@brendenwolford Mike's a good guy. I mess with him occasionally if he puts out content I'm not interested in. But all in all he's a solid dude with some cool ideas.
I love the wrap! I like the layout of the old van better. This one seems way tighter and dark inside. I’d feel claustrophobic. But the outside is super nice. And the 4x4 makes sense as well as the huge battery.
Love the wrap looks amazing. I did like the wrap overlapping the Windows on the old van, I think it would look good on this one maybe with just the black Topo.
Been wanting to watch this video for dayssss. But since im at work i couldnt get the chance to. And tonight i finally have. Really sick looking jayco!! Topo sage green with a touch of tan and orange. Its just screaming MIKE. Absolutely incredible wraps. Hope to see more in the future. All the features and configurations on this one looks really promising.
You should dip the side panel in the same orange that's on the front (maybe even mix some black on the part that touches the van and the part around the key area/bottom dimple). Nice setup.
+ if its 48v or 12v there is no difference in watts that are used, but yes wire gage is less. ohms law cannot be broken. but that really does not mean anything to a buyer, wires normally dont come in to play. conversion to other voltage levels and AC is where you get the losses. 48v batts running 48v AC, perfect match for little losses, other than transients and any resistance in wires, no conversion or inversion needed, less of the battery energy lost in heat, longer lasting cycles and possibly longer life of batts. the 48v AC, the 48v second Alternator, and Hydronic heating loop are perfect for this type of van. the Terrain and the Integra Launch are almost identical.
Rad van! Jake did an awesome job. Is that tan plastic for the toilet? Would look good black. Can’t wait to see what you do with the van. Any plans to get it stuck somewhere? ;)
Great channel! I know the AC is 48V but what battery does the fridge and other house components draw power from? (Does the inverter need to be on for the other house components? Fridge, water pump, heating/blower, Wee Boost, etc)
A 360 dash cam would be better. You know like the tesla security camera feature. Anybody that touches your car is caught on camera. No blind spots. But I haven't seen one as an addon.
Enjoyed your videos on both Sprint 20T and Terrain, very informative and well done! Quick question, with the Terrain, how long can the AC be ran using the 48V battery power when boondocking?
Thanks for explaining the battery, when I first saw the amp hours was thinking they were small :) how long do you think it would run the AC in warmer temps?
Brotha thank you for posting this video, been checking everyday for last few weeks 😁 I'll for sure send you some cheddar on your patreon. I pre-ordered the silver version up here in Canada and was wondering what you think about Jayco not including a heating pad for the battery? Have you taken a shower in the van yet, I heard the shower pan is too shallow and water overflows. Have you had any leaks on the driver side where the bed is? Thanks again, the battery calculations were great as I wasn't sure how the Terrain could run the AC for 8 hours off of the house batteries vs the 1.5 hours for the Revel.
The battery has a built in heater, a little quirky as it only is triggered when detecting a certain amount of amperage. But under normal circumstances, the interior will not get to a temp where the battery won't work (you can keep discharging at very low temps, it's the charging that requires a slightly higher temp. It's still winterized, so I haven't tested any water stuff yet.
@@LastLineOfDefense you da man bro, thank you for everything and looking forward to the next episodes on the evolution of your van. I'm hoping mine arrives before my kids' MX race season. I'm gonna get the same dash cam as you too.
Not sure what that square thing was on the driver side of the van is called but I think it might flow better if it was black. Kinda sticks out considering all your trim is black 🤷♂️
Love the wrap! Will be perfect when the cassette trim is black😁. Does the Terrain come with a spare? Or is there an open space underneath or did they put something else there? Enjoying your videos! Thank you!
wish you would mention the cost of the parts and wraps and upgrades so we can also look into them. i noticed that none of the youtubers, EVER talk about cost... I'll change that soon with my Sprinter i just got.

Yeah a map could be cool for sure, maybe you should do it!

Lol TOM. I agree! But Canadian prepper is a smart dude, and has good content on gear as well. Not as good as llod though

BRO THAT WRAP LOOKS INSANE !!!!!
Thanks dude!
Nice look Mike. Jake is awesome, and does great work. He wrapped my teardrop in alpine multicam, came out awesome. Still one of a kind.

Love the wrap and the orange accents! Can't wait to see all the modifications you'll be doing. Great job Mike!
Love the orange accents against the green
Glad you like it!
I actually work on the line that makes all of the class B vans at Jayco. Crazy I came across this, the wrap looks awesome!
Thanks for the tip about 70mai. I checked them out on amazon.
.
Nice van, I like the wrap. Excited to see more upgrades and camping on this!
Great vid, thanks! Ordered mine today, I have a 9 month wait for the blue/grey.
Awesome! I have been waiting for a full video on this.

That man got mad wrapping skills.
He's good!
That’s sweet. What a general cost comparison on wraps vs. painting. I figure the topo map would cost a lot in paint.
A wrap is definitely cheaper than a decent paint job.
I think I'd get the cassette door frame wrapped like the rest of the van. Thanks for sharing the info on the 70Mai camera- I'm going to check it out.
That wrap looks awesome!!!! Need that on the vanimal keep up the great work

I've been meaning to get a dashcam for years now. Seems like you like these Mai cams so I think I'll go and grab one.
Bad ass very impressive…..
Need a wrap for the cam set up too 😍
I gatta say I prefer the wrap on the previous van especially because of the wrap on the windows. Don't get me wrong though it looks badass!
Get a donger technologies mount for your tacoma dashcam…it has a pin connection that is really clean
You should do a hat in the OD/sage green with the Topo and your logo. That would sell well.
You should do the front symbol like the back one. Think it would turn out nice
would love to see a weapons storage cabinet in the van make it kind of into a mobile command center
Nice.
Cant wait to see it finished
Love the Topo wrap.
A DC air conditioner is HUGE! I wish my old camper had such an electrical system. Sure would be nice to not need the generator in the summer.
Love it. Thanks for the shoutout.
Wrap is sick!
nice job !! i would certainly do a black "plastidip" over the toilet door outside
"
Wow!! I love the wrap!

Love the wrap. Some say been done to many times...I say nope.
Yeah, topo is pretty popular, but I still dig it
Always the wheels are turning with this guy.
What headlamp is that at the beginning of the video?
Could you make a video regarding the insulation? I wonder if the van even has insulations.
Were you heading East towards Nebraska on Friday? I feel like I saw you.
I’d paint that access door orange for more orange pop.
Maybe turn that tan square on the side Orange!
I'm thinking black
Love the vids Mike!
Thanks!
Great channel!

So is this one bigger than talons ? Great video Mike ! Love the content ❤️🔥🔥
Rather than a front yard full of broken down vehicles, yours is full of kitted-out pricy vehicles.

Awesome wrap. Good music on the intro. What’s the name is that first song?

Locking rack or lockable storage for long gun? Cool mod I’d like to see.

Damn, that thing looks bad ass! 🤘🏻🇺🇲
I hate to be that guy but does anyone know what kind of headlamp he has on at the beginning? I’ve looked thru his past videos but I don’t see it :(

Has a full-size spare underneath!
Great van! Curious to see how your battery pack does? Do a comparison with Talon’s van. Will your fair better or worse. I have a Revel with Roam Rig.
I believe his is 600Ah at 12v, so my system has about 200 more Ah.
@@LastLineOfDefense the way they sell it is it run on a different voltage making it more. Don’t know how that works just curious to see!
Cover the square black

Will you be reviewing any of the newly revealed ikamper products?
Indeed!
Waiting for 2022's to be released. Mercedes finally updated the "4WD" system in the current generation to an all-new AWD system.
What headlamp is that?
@llod, what brand/model lipo battery is that?
Where did you get the van carpet?
So how does the battery compare to the revel?
does it have 180 degree hinges for back door?
looks sick
You should do a video on your 1 year ownership on the Jayco . Likes and dislikes.
Awesome
Which headlamp is that? 🤔
I think the tan stuff should be black or orange
Yeah I think I'll revise a few pieces
dude, you need a better camera... focus is everywhere but on point.
Is this one “yours.”
WHat battery is it?
Looks good. They totally copied the revel.
Improved upon the Revel. "Copying" happens all the time in the RV industry. It just comes down to which one is actually better.

❤️❤️❤️
This is Revel knockoff - lol.

junk van. looks like a camper.
