Thanks for the informative video! I followed the instructions to enable the PWA tab strip for Google Docs, but its not working. I downloaded the lastest chrome update and seem not to be working. Can you help troubleshoot?
@@JoJotheTechie I have the same issue, I select new tabbed window but it does not activate this setting. It will remain on the previous option I had selected. So I am not able to have multiple docs tabs open in one window.
Adobe Premiere Rush does not run on ANY Chromebook yet. Chromebook users have been patiently waiting for Adobe to make it compatible but to no avail. Regarding Zoom, if you use the web client, which is what is recommended for Chromebooks, you should be able to use Gallery View which lets you have 49 participants on the screen (at least that's what it says on their website).
Is there a way to make the swipe up bar/"homebutton" invisible. It seems kinda annoying, cause its taking too much space in apps like squid where you need the space

I am still thinking about buying the Lenovo Duet which will be helpful for me at my private acitvities. As I am also having a Pixel 4, I would like to know which are the advantages of having my Pixel connected to the chromebook, like do I get the notifications from the Pixel there, too, even I do not install the app on the Chromebook? This would be very helpful for me.
I think the biggest advantage for me is the instant tethering and sometimes the unlocking of your Chromebook when you unlock your phone. The messages app also gets linked, even though you can do that without connecting the whole phone.
So far, I've only tried the Lenovo pen, which is the one featured here, and the Penoval one which IMO is much better. I don't draw, but even writing I didn't have issues with either as far as line jitter. I have heard of some q/a issues with the Lenovo one though.

Well first of all, you have to make sure you are on the same Wifi network as your cast devices. The cast icon won't appear unless it detects devices it can cast to.

Mine doesn't behave like yours and I haven't touched the flag. Also it seems like PWA apps now have the ability to open in tabs by default too? I guess that is the nature of the beast, experimental flags will become the default as updates are pushed, making many of the tweaks slowly unnecessary over time :) By the way - I love how you put the chapters in your video for quick reference. True. I try to keep my main Chromebook (the Pixelbook Go) on Stable since that is my main video editing machine. I do keep my Duet on Beta so I can try out new features. Flags are a great way to get a sneak peak of new features without going full beta.
Hmm. If your icon is different you probably have the old icon. I would delete (uninstall) that app and install it again. It should create the new icon with the new material theme for you.

Off topic but how is the USI pen? I'm looking to buy it for art and want to know if its responsive and if it has diagonal line jitter :)

The best alternative is the Penoval USI Pen, but it isn't much cheaper than the Lenovo. It is my pen of choice though.

How is it possible that you have Google Docs as an application instead of Google Chrome?
She removed the docs shortcut and installed Google Docs from the Play Store.
The flags u mentioned should be enabled by default.
