Good luck to the developer(s). There simply is not enough combat sports games in the world. Hopefully it will also drive other developers to start getting competitive in their game developement. Would definitely buy this on release.
It’s so frustrating. There are games for all kinds of dumb shit. Farming simulator, trucking simulator, fishing simulator… but we can’t get yearly boxing games? No Muay Thai or Kickboxing games, no wrestling games. No other company trying to get into MMA games. It’s so stupid.
@@MartialMind I play a lot of real time strategy games and my favourite type is large scale battlefield rts like Total war and creative assembly are literally the only studio in existence that do that type of genre and it annoys me to no end considering how huge the market is
@@MartialMind It just really hard to make realistic fighting game. Licensing alone gonna cost like a few millions at least. And then there the technical issues of delivering good gameplay with limited bug and techincal issues especially if you want realistic graphic. As much as we love indies developers with passion for video game and hate EA for pumping out the same shit year after year, Undisputed and Aew wresting games are good example of how it take a lot more than love and passion to develop a good game.

This looks really solid and we need more of these. Followed the devs for the first muay thai game and still had my fingers crossed but thats obviously dead in the water. But i really hope this keeps devs motivated to keep going because once again we desperately need this.

With that said, i kinda wish EA would implement more striking techniques to UFC 5, for example, if i catch a roundhouse to the body, i shouldn’t be limited to just a head kick in response, i should be able to throw body kicks and leg kicks as well.

I would love to see a game thats a cross between like Streetfighter and UFC would be so much more exciting and motivating to play... these days games either try to go to realistic or to far fetched these developers need to get back to the roots and remember "Its Gaming" and is above all else meant to be fun

It just kills me how every other fighting game developer seems to be able to get punching animations down correctly except for Steel City.

I wish they would make this in UE5 instead of what appears to be Unity. They will have same physics issues as undisputed.
