The dual wand set up is so great. Especially when you have the arcane battery staves that allow you to cast level 6 spells! Dual wielder adding +1AC is nice as well
Oh this is a pretty nice build! Having high charisma and intelligence is broken lol (mind stats) Comparatively for physical stats, that’d be like stacking Dexterity and Strength which is broken in its own right. Constitution/Wisdom get no love lol but they’re important too 😂
Lots of flexibility with the wizards spell book too! It’s really hard to give up levels of sorcerer because each level packs so many benefits. This class has high nova damage from sorcerer, glove of invulnerability, shield, and conjure elemental from Wizard. So overpowered
What's the point in high intelligence when you have just one level of wizard for utility spells as i understand? Because most of damaging spells you already have from sorc. With this build you easily can go full charisma and don't bothering with dump stats and dex gloves. And have all utility and defensive spells from scrolls. If you want exactly wizard-sorcerer, with charisma and intelligence - its or 2/10 evocation wiz/dragon sorc for strong elemental dmg. Or 6/6 for necromancer/abjuration/divination subclasses in mix with any sorcerer sub. And as i understand - globe of invulnerability absolutely don't care with what spell modifier you cast...
Having increased intelligence allows you to prepare more wizard spells which can be swapped out on the fly giving you a lot of coverage. You also get fly from the sorcerer 11 which is very useful! I did mention when going over stats you don’t have to dump stats, but you’ll have less wizard spells and the rolls on them will lower but that’s also alright to do! I also mention that you can go 2/10 but I think the benefits from sorcerer 11 are a bit better. Can go either way! Lots of versatility with this multiclass. You’re right on globe of invulnerability not requiring stats, same with conjure elemental and shield
@@JasonDunna For int stat you can use circlet from ogres - you mentioned this. Or - you can just build wiz/sorc with intelligence as main stat and charisma as secondary - just for boost dialogue checks. I agree - its versatile multiclass and it can be built in different ways...
So I’m in early act 3 just plundered sorcerous sundries. I have the headband of int & gloves of Dex. I wanna respec my character to a sorcerer/wizard(currently 4 Bard/ 7 warlock) how should I distribute my stat points if I can dump dex & int? Can someone help me(not a lot of wizcerer vid or posts)

@@cabevest2400 in earlier editions of D&D the wizard also had metamagic. In the 5th edition everything has changed. I don't like the way it has gone. they have simplified everything and weakened the heroes. maximum stat is 20.
Can’t you have 26 charisma? +3 cha from mirror (you can get +1 bonus in addition to the +2 ONLY for charisma if you get the right dialogue) and the +1 to hag hair makes 24. So with the cap wouldn’t it be 26?
You can learn any wizard spell from a scroll, so you can take some powerful spells like globe of invulnerability, conjure elemental, etc to provide a wide variety of spells you wouldn’t normally have as just a sorcerer. With the staff you can cast any level 6 spell for free too which makes it even more powerful
@@Emolilyx Magic > Ranged > Melee is the hierarchy of damage in Baldur’s gate 3 from my experience. You could legit run a team of 4 sorcerers and it would be very strong. Multiclass 1 level of tempest cleric and you can get heavy armor and create water on all them. Super powerful!
@@JasonDunna ha it would be but have astarian as a bard rouge then gale as a sorcerer but when change my class probs have him as wizard or something else powerfull then me sorlock or sorcerer cleric depends what I decide since want draconic sorcerer

my poor character is lvl 8- 2 lvl in sorcerer; 1-lvl in nature cleric for speak with animals( in lazy to make potions) and 5 in necromancer wizard
Totally fair point taking nature cleric, you also get armor proficiency so it’s pretty nice!

@@Arkhimael you can go either way! The build is multi attribute dependant so using items that raise your stats is really useful here

Dump your dex and int and max out charisma and constitution. Strength is nice for jump distance and carry capacity too

The hat only works to take you from 22 Charisma to 24 sadly, same with Duke Ravenguards sword. There’s unfortunately a cap to the items
