Also the watchers from act 3 are immune to psychic dmg and im not sure if theyre affected by stone of resonnance either, since they dont have a mind and are immune to phychic effect too i think. Also crimson mischief is on average 49 dmg vs 28 for shadow blade if you factor in crimson mischief and all of its feature. Shadow blade is only better when you crit, and you can"t force them on undead, since they are immune to paralyze and sleep, so fighting undead or watchers switch to crimson mischief + bhaalist armor in act 3 and keep belm in your offhand. That way you can use perfectly balanced strike to deal the dmg from your main hand again if you toggle off dual wielding, since it will allow you to select belm perfectly balanced strike as your bonus action

Fun Fact, you can do the Hireling trick with the Flame Blade spell as well, meaning that if you upcast Flame Blade to 6th level and then do the trick, you can get a weapon with a whopping 5D6 fire damage + Strength modifier These supposedly unoptainable weapons all tend to share one weakness though, none of them have inherent bonuses to hit, at the trade-off for very high Damage Deva Mace - 1d6 bludgeon + 4d8 Radiant Djinni Scimitar - 1d6 slashing + 2Dd10 Poison Flame Blade - 5d6 + strength mod Fire Shadow Blade - 2d6 Psychic The Myrmidon Weapons deal less damage on average, but have +3 attack and damage bonuses and unique attacks with effects Scimitar of Cinder - 1d6 slashing + 1d6 Fire + Flame Strike (1d10 Fire and Burning) Trident of the Depths - 1d6/1d8 piercing + 1d6 Cold + Heimal Strike (1d10 Cold + Chilled) Flail of the Vortex - 1d8 Bludgeoning + 1d6 Lightning + Electrified Flail (1d10 Lightning + STUNNING) The Steel Watcher Greatsword used to be obtainable, and did 3d12 Slashing + Maimed + Prone
Is there a vid going over how to get all these ‘secret items’ that’s on latest patch? Kinda crazy how many they are. Makes me wonder if maybe melee isn’t completely outclassed by ranged attacks if the DPR is higher using some of these weapons
@@ironbar2009 Ranged builds are strong because they keep you out of melee range of most enemies, and most enemies have their strongest attacks up close(think the act 2 paladins for example The Myrmidon weapons can be looted after defeating Lorroakan in Act 3, kill his Myrmidons, then long rest, come back, and the pouches should be on the ground. This also works with the Myrmidons spawned in the Wyrmway trials The Deva Mace and Djinni Scimitar can be obtained by stealing from the offering chests under Stormshore Tabernacle in Act 3, this curses the character who stole the offerings. When the cursed character is Healed, 2 enemies will spawn. If the Cursed character dies, only 1 will spawn. Normally, the enemies will be Devas, but if the thief was a Cleric of Tempus, Helm, Oghma, or Kelemvor, then it will summon Djinni instead. Kill the summoned Devas or Djinni (or also Cambion, but those only have a basic +1 Trident IIRC). Then pick up the remains, the Deva body or the Djinni ash pile, and then enter your weapons tab, you'll see the weapons with a purple hand icon on top of them, send the items to camp, and you can then retrieve them for use. The Shadow and Flame Blades can be obtained using the method shown in this video. Honestly, if you're going to get any of these, then stick with the Deva Mace or Flail of the Vortex. Deva mace is effectively a level 3 DIVINE SMITE on every single attack, if you're playing Paladin, then you can get up to 10d8 Radiant Damage using a level 4 Divine Smite with the Deva Mace. This is the highest possible damage you can deal with a single raw Weapon Attack, not considering item stacking or shenanigans with Damage Riders. Flail of the Vortex can deal 1d8 + 1d8 + 1d10 every turn using Electrified Flail, which can also stun your target for 2 entire turns, albeit with a pretty low saving throw DC
Those broken weapons, I just consider to have a built in Great Weapon Master. They have less than a -5 to hit, but do more than 10 damage more than their counterparts without needing a feat!
@@somedudewithakeyboard5388 Goated response! Agree with your point that primary benefit of ranged attackers is being able to manipulate the enemy movement but I’m operating under the assumption that a 10/2 split between swords bard and paladin was the highest damage build in the game taking advantage of ranged flourish, sharpshooter, smiting w level 5 spell slots. Wondering if an optimized melee build with savage attacker and Deva Mace would come close to that level of damage output or if range is just strictly better for attacking classes.
There is a way to use the blade without Concentration. 1- You give the ring to a Hired NPC in camp. 2- Cast it. 3- Fire the NPC. 4- Re Hire it, 5- The NPC will have the ring and the Blade but this time it will be a separeted Item. you can give it to your character and that´s it
For a different version of this build: You can make a more stealth-oriented hit-and-run setup using Shadow Monk 11/Rogue 1, using Shadow Strike with the Shadow Blade, which you can very easily obtain invisibility/obscured via Dark Urge with Deathstalker Mantle. Anything that somehow survives the Resonance Stone double psychic Shadow Blade Strike is going to die in the followup hit to regain invisibility. Mostly because Sneak Attack on reaction applies Shadow Strike twice, which with Resonance Stone = lmao dead. You'll also get cracked movement speed via being a monk with Improved Unarmored Movement (great for running away and having enemies fail their Detect Presence by being nowhere near your new location) and become an assassin who picks everything off 1 by 1 like a horror movie monster. And since you don't be wearing armor nor using a shield (you're invisible anyways), you can use the Gloves of the Duelist to greatly improve your hit chance (+2 to attack rolls is no joke). You also don't need to do the hireling trick since Strange Conduit Ring's psychic damage synergizes with the Shadow Blade's psychic damage (Concentration basically gives you 2d4 psychic damage as a result), and you can regain the ability to re-summon the blade without needing Short Rests via drinking Potions of Angelic Reprieve. So there's your version which is more of an armored brawler but also this version which is more of a psionic assassin.
Okay, have to disagree within the first 10 seconds, saying the shadow blade is one of the worst weapons is ridiculous. I put it on minthara in one of my games and she kept it till deva mace build change up. it was broken
I didn't manage to open space to it in any of my builds tbh, but it's not "bad" per se - just forces you to pass on 2 slots for a slightly above average damage as a 1h sword. Edit: I did NOT take into consideration the ressonance stone :P
no it is terrible lol having your weapon have to rely on concentration makes it unusable, and the damage isnt worth taking up the ring slot when there are so many better weapons in the game, not to mention rings
Broken? It's only upside is an extra d8, and it costs you your concentration, your bonus action to cast, an item slot, and an action if that concentration breaks to re-equip the weapon. All for an extra damage dice. Not to mention it doesn't get any bonuses to accuracy like a +# weapon. You can get the same result from ketherics Warhammer, which you were guaranteed to have, and casting divine favor as a bonus action, and it's also a +1 weapon so you are more likely to hit them in the first place. You can also just cast magic weapon at the start of your day, and have it last for the whole day instead of 10 turns. Oh yeah, and minthara has one of THE BEST uses for her bonus action, soul branding, which shadow blade wastes.
You know ... Normally i wouldn't really comment on something like this but as someone learning a new language right now who is using this video as a break from language lessons i just feel i have to say your english is very impressive, getting to the point you are at with english with the language i am learning (japanese) feels impossible and i really have a newfound respect for anyone who speaks two languages
Hmmm...interesting. So the combo works because of the Resonation Stone gives psychic vulnerabilit, which the Shadow Blade does. The Ring that further boosts the damage. I might have to try it someday.
A wizard ally in camp can create every day a Transmuter Stone that provides user Constitution Save proficiency, that just needs to remain in the inventory (no no equipment slot). Transmutation Wizards are also great for creating potions and poisons that compliment this build.
And what people take from this awesome build is... "but some enemies have more than 500 HP." Yes they do, so hit them twice!! Thanks Spud for your work.
I like that the foundation is giving vulnerability. It’s easier than a party of 4 waiting until act 3 to get Bloodthirst and ALL do piercing damage. Combustible oil is a little easier, but requires consumables. Wet condition though … you can have a full party doing cold/lightning damage and using the wet condition even in act 1. It’s hard to get the REST of the party doing psychic damage to also take advantage of the vulnerability. Yeah? 1 character that does a lot of damage is great. All four doing the same amazing damage … that’s pretty sweet.
Angelic reprieve abuse - It’s kinda lame to do long rests to abuse a shop to get stock over and over. The reason you want to do this is to get access to more short rests. Higherlings only need a little bard for song of rest. Plus you can make the bard/wizard with transmutation for the super crafter so you have a 100% chance at level 9 to craft two items every time you try to craft (you can get to like 99.7% at level 5). In addition to having a transmutation stone for your party, and remove curse spell and healing spell slots and an extra short rest for your party … it will also be able to double the number of alchemy craftables. And it only costs a total of 200 gold to get a hireling and then respec it … which is a couple days worth of those angelic reprieve potions you want to buy. There is zero abuse in the super camp crafter. If you wanted to abuse them … hire more and make them bards. Spend 300 more gold (500 total) and you have 4 extra short rests every single day and you don’t need to spend more money or buy more potions. Or … you know … have a lore bard or swords bard as a real companion. Those are both amazing.
Love doing a respect in act 3 watch the whole video while trying to spec… then respec my character again… and then respec again and then AGAIN…. Just to just go back and play my character because I never got the answer and I have adhd
I feel like your adding an extra step in there with the Fire enchantment and relying on the Hat of Fire Acuity. There's another head slot called the Helmet of Arcane Acuity. You find it in Act 2 in the Mason's Guild Basement in Reithwin Town behind the altar in the room with the shadow enemies. It does exactly the same thing as the Hat of Fire Acuity, except it grants Arcane Acuity stacks every time you deal weapon damage. I used it on a Sword's College Bard build in my last Tactician run where I used Slashing Flourish to ramp up stacks of Acuity and then combined that with Band of the Mystic Scoundrel that lets you cast Enchantment school spells as a bonus action in any round that you successfully hit with a weapon attack. So I'd flourish twice to ramp up to 8 stacks on the First round and do Hold Person/Confusion/Hypnotic Pattern/etc. on whatever enemies remained. Two levels of Paladin to then smite with my Bard spells and it worked out great.
The point of Hat of Fire Acuity is to have a ranged option (scorching rays) and a melee option (twinned spell: drakethroat glaive fire) to build arcane acuity stacks. I played 2/10 pally/swordsbard before and its biggest problem is mobility, every time a fight starts the bardadin is not always in the best position and you usually sacrifice your first turn to just to get in melee range of the enemy so you can hit them and trigger arcane acuity & band of the mystic scoundrel. Spud's build offers you a way to build the stacks faster and get your your cc spell in there faster in my opinion.
though I would say the drawback of Spud's build is that you don't have access to Hold monster because there are quite a number of monsters in the game aside from humans so there's that caveat!
Sounds like a shadow monk would feed this well. If you’re already doing a lame thing like abusing rests the monk will have plenty of ki points to throw a darkness out for you. You could build a warlock monk companion and both of you could take advantage of the darkness and frequent short rests. 3 warlock would give it two spell slots both of which could be darkness. 9 monk would give it 9 ki points. That’s 6 possible darkness spells cast from your companion … every single short rest! That’s like 6 fights with darkness cheese per short rest with at least 18 second level darkness spells per long rest. They can also do the fun shadow monk stuff and be the party lock picker. I don’t think this really comes online until level 7. You need at least 3 levels of either class to get darkness, but you’ll want extra attack and 2 levels of warlock for the infernal sight.
In non-HM run you could make a lockadin build with 3 attacks per action. It is possible to use the smite that deals extra psichic damage too and divine smite as reaction to make this even more powerful. Personally, I made a similar build and ended raphael fight in 1 turn. I used 1 war cleric/6 sword bard/ 5 warlock pact of the blade. Even with out the glitch the build is totally broken, and with the right equipment and feats is almost impossible to lose concentration.
if anyone wants to make a shadow blade build that's not as complex, i've got one i discovered myself which is pretty nuts. only items you need are the shadow blade (do the exploit to make it permanent, i kept the ring on to make it feel balanced), psionic ward armour so mind flayers don't one shot you and the resonance stone. take 7 levels in fighter battlemaster with your manoeuvres of choice, 4 levels in bearheart barbarian and 1 in rogue, then pick duelling for fighting style (use whatever shield you want) and take savage attacker, medium armour master and shield master for feats. now just have a tadpole bath to get as many powers as possible (priorities are psionic overload, cull the weak and mind blast in that order), get the creche buff to make your powers bonus actions and you're done. on turn 1 you rage, turn 2 you psionic overload and for damage you either use manoeuvres or toggle sneak attack to automatic and click reckless attack, you'll hit 50-70 per attack which usually translates to 2 kills per turn with 2 double damage cull the weak procs, and once you've set up you can use a double damage mind blast or offhand crossbow shot (surprisingly useful with endgame cull the weak) as bonus actions. you can make this even more ridiculous by duping the ring twice and going for dual wield over duelling but it's already strong enough to solo act 3 tactician so it's not necessary, my experience with this build was that i deliberately limited it to not feel like i was cheating, and in most fights at least once i would get annoyed because i did too much damage and one shotted someone before cull the weak could proc lol
I think he's cheating in a ton of items. Having cloud giant strength potion that early shouldn't be possible either. And I think he even cheats in the shadow blade ring. Kinda hope I'm wrong though, super lame if he's just "Do as I say, not as I do".
Elixir of Cloud Giant is obtainable starting lvl 6 in the first act. Derryth Bonecloack sells it randomly. Derryth and Blurg also sell ingredient (cloud giant finger) starting lvl6. If you have transmutation wizard then you can make 2 elixirs instead of 1. All the traders refresh their inventory on every rest or level up, so you can stack tons of elixirs of Cloud Giant at lvl 6 in act 1. Ring of shadow blade is a reward for finding Arabella's parents in act 2.
I haven’t played by3 for a few months but how are you able to make shadow blade stay conjured outside of combat enough for it to be a pact weapon? IIRC you can’t pact a weapon in combat and shadow blade only last ten turns. My only guess is I’m using the 5e mod and it changed that spell.
If you play this build as a githyanki, you can make use of the boots of psionic movement effect, when you cast fly, your next attack will deal 1d4 psychic damage. Not much but it’s one more source of damage.

Halfway through my honors mode, so far this build is working great. One flaw is act 1 you are strong only against goblins, but hit the githyanki crèche or underdark shit starts to pick up. I usually use my darkness spell a lot and so far it helps. Wish me luck in Act 2
@@TheSpudKingUPDATE finally finished my run. For anyone wondering yes this build is actually doable in honors mode. Idk about solo run because it’s not really reliable especially in honors run. The build is weak at the beginning especially if you hit the githyanki creche where you actually get your first gear items it’s intensely hard you need to properly position yourself correctly or you will be punished. Act 2 is a fly by nothing to serious. Do be careful when fighting the Steel watch bc getting malmed will get you killed. You don’t have a lot of movement and you don’t have enough health to take dmg. Act 3 is insanely easy for some reason having full lvl and build plus gear you will do insane dmg. I destroyed the mind flayers in one turn. And the Final boss in one turn. Also when fighting Orin her legendary resistance will messed you up, so I recommend stocking up on magic missile and speed potion and put on a amulet I forgot what it was called but it’s the one that lets you add additional missile on your magic missile. Thats moded "goth blue dye" if im not mistaken, will drop my mod list after path 7 online, so im not feature stuff that will break. In game, there is close one "harlequin black and blue"
There are so many nice combinations. But I dont use paralyze anymore because sleep is more ressource efficient. You can cast Sleep AOE which 100% always make any enemy fall asleep with the Glyph. Most people miss the last effect of the glyve, it makes enemies fall asleep for 2 turns no matter the hitpoints and you wont need concentration for it. This is the most broken Spell on its own. I think just from roleplay perspecive it is really funny to have a Crowd Controller with Glyph, maybe an Ice Archer and everything else is very optional. If you have an Ice Archer, it is also fun to add a lightning char to your group.
Wait, why not use Minthara's boots.of striding? When you are concentrating, you cannot be moved against your will. This protects from slipping, tripping, displacement.
Nere’s boots are way better, much more versatile and provides immunity from slipping. Also doesn’t Ketheric’s armour have the same buff as the boots? And his greatest enemy was anything slippery cuz he couldn’t move one inch without giving up his turn.
@@4m4n40 Boots of Striding comes in earlier, depending of course if you do grym forge or the grove defense / raid. His greatest enemy is prone, because that auto-knocks concentration. Prone doesnt only come from slippage, as demonstrated in the video it can also come from shield bash etc. Ketheric's armor does the same thing, you are correct. However, you would need some feat or level dip in order to use heavy armor.
tbf, i feel deep gnomes are better than elves in every way if your concern is resistance to sleep and charm advantage on all int wis and chr saves is better than advantage against just charm, especially when you stack bonuses to con saves and saves in general and sleep isn't a problem when you have advantage. the likelihood of failing the save is so miniscule that it might as well be like you have immunity to all spells at that point you lose a bit of movement speed but if you're misty stepping or vault potioning everywhere (as you should be anyway) then the loss of speed is w/e for advantage against SPELLS

@@Justin-lr6yf thanks for the suggestions i forgot about CCs from other classes, i'll go take a look and maybe plan a dedicated cc build on one of the party members regarding the damage, its not optimal but getting to proc sneak attack 1 to 3 times (up to 3 rolls of 5d6) is not bad... at the very least, the numbers could be improved with items like spellsparkler, the int boosting tiara, and the like also yes its a bug, hence why I'm still not sure if Larian patched it yet

The Sword of Oppressed Souls would work pretty well with that build. It's a longsword you can obtain in the Mindflayer Colony after you solve the mind puzzle near in the same area as the resonance stone is found that does phycic damage on each strike. There is also a skeleton that has bracers that cause mental fatigue whenever you do phycic damage that is pretty much next to the sword. If you know how to get the Githzari mind barrier it's in the same room as the brain jar that is used to obtain that.

Fun Fact, you can do the Hireling trick with the Flame Blade spell as well, meaning that if you upcast Flame Blade to 6th level and then do the trick, you can get a weapon with a whopping 5D6 fire damage + Strength modifier
These supposedly unoptainable weapons all tend to share one weakness though, none of them have inherent bonuses to hit, at the trade-off for very high Damage
Deva Mace - 1d6 bludgeon + 4d8 Radiant
Djinni Scimitar - 1d6 slashing + 2Dd10 Poison
Flame Blade - 5d6 + strength mod Fire
Shadow Blade - 2d6 Psychic
The Myrmidon Weapons deal less damage on average, but have +3 attack and damage bonuses and unique attacks with effects
Scimitar of Cinder - 1d6 slashing + 1d6 Fire + Flame Strike (1d10 Fire and Burning)
Trident of the Depths - 1d6/1d8 piercing + 1d6 Cold + Heimal Strike (1d10 Cold + Chilled)
Flail of the Vortex - 1d8 Bludgeoning + 1d6 Lightning + Electrified Flail (1d10 Lightning + STUNNING)
The Steel Watcher Greatsword used to be obtainable, and did 3d12 Slashing + Maimed + Prone
You can get the watcher greatsword still, just cant use it
Is there a vid going over how to get all these ‘secret items’ that’s on latest patch? Kinda crazy how many they are. Makes me wonder if maybe melee isn’t completely outclassed by ranged attacks if the DPR is higher using some of these weapons
@@ironbar2009 Ranged builds are strong because they keep you out of melee range of most enemies, and most enemies have their strongest attacks up close(think the act 2 paladins for example
The Myrmidon weapons can be looted after defeating Lorroakan in Act 3, kill his Myrmidons, then long rest, come back, and the pouches should be on the ground. This also works with the Myrmidons spawned in the Wyrmway trials
The Deva Mace and Djinni Scimitar can be obtained by stealing from the offering chests under Stormshore Tabernacle in Act 3, this curses the character who stole the offerings.
9:10 I don't know if they changed it in some patch, but there are 47 enemies in the game that are immune to psychic damage. And 13 resistance
There is a way to use the blade without Concentration.
1- You give the ring to a Hired NPC in camp.
2- Cast it.
3- Fire the NPC.
4- Re Hire it,
5- The NPC will have the ring and the Blade but this time it will be a separeted Item. you can give it to your character and that´s it
Isn't that exactly what he did?
@@Fabio292yeah i tried that and the blade just gets unsummoned since the hireling lose concentration if you dismiss it
For a different version of this build:
You can make a more stealth-oriented hit-and-run setup using Shadow Monk 11/Rogue 1, using Shadow Strike with the Shadow Blade, which you can very easily obtain invisibility/obscured via Dark Urge with Deathstalker Mantle.

@@Tentacl just test a spell caster like a Sorcerer use it with a 4° level slot and look at the damage.

Coolest thing about shadow blade builds is the variety. Based around this ONE ring/spell that many of us have always written off. The sheer power too!
Hmmm...interesting. So the combo works because of the Resonation Stone gives psychic vulnerabilit, which the Shadow Blade does. The Ring that further boosts the damage.
I might have to try it someday.

Angelic reprieve abuse -
It’s kinda lame to do long rests to abuse a shop to get stock over and over.
Kagha amulet is easy to grab as easy, just complete the quest to investigate her relation to the shadow druids :P
Sick synergy build! Looks like you really dug thru the weeds to figure out how the engine works. Well done!
Its impossible to use that smite, because its using concentration, so only thunderous, as i showed :)

Yeah there has been buildcrafting around this since the game was released but whatevs. Nice to see it in a video!
if anyone wants to make a shadow blade build that's not as complex, i've got one i discovered myself which is pretty nuts. only items you need are the shadow blade (do the exploit to make it permanent, i kept the ring on to make it feel balanced), psionic ward armour so mind flayers don't one shot you and the resonance stone. take 7 levels in fighter battlemaster with your manoeuvres of choice, 4 levels in bearheart barbarian and 1 in rogue, then pick duelling for fighting style (use whatever shield you want) and take savage attacker, medium armour master and shield master for feats. now just have a tadpole bath to get as many powers as possible (priorities are psionic overload, cull the weak and mind blast in that order), get the creche buff to make your powers bonus actions and you're done. on turn 1 you rage, turn 2 you psionic overload and for damage you either use manoeuvres or toggle sneak attack to automatic and click reckless attack, you'll hit 50-70 per attack which usually translates to 2 kills per turn with 2 double damage cull the weak procs, and once you've set up you can use a double damage mind blast or offhand crossbow shot (surprisingly useful with endgame cull the weak) as bonus actions. you can make this even more ridiculous by duping the ring twice and going for dual wield over duelling but it's already strong enough to solo act 3 tactician so it's not necessary, my experience with this build was that i deliberately limited it to not feel like i was cheating, and in most fights at least once i would get annoyed because i did too much damage and one shotted someone before cull the weak could proc lol
Genuinely one of my favorite spells in dnd but it was turned to garbahey in this game thank you for helping me bring it back to glory.
10:50 Why do you need to enter darkness and then step out of it?
In case enemies dont want to go in
@4:41 Can someone explain how a low level character can have potions like elixir of cloud giant strength and potions of supreme healing?

PS my honor run wasn’t solo it was with companions. I may not be the best bg3 player but I have finished the game 3 times in tactician and now 1 honors mode. So I am atleast experienced at this game.

Wait, why not use Minthara's boots.of striding? When you are concentrating, you cannot be moved against your will. This protects from slipping, tripping, displacement.
Hmm. That's better, i thought it's only for pushes
Prone doesnt only come from slippage, as demonstrated in the video it can also come from shield bash etc.

tbf, i feel deep gnomes are better than elves in every way if your concern is resistance to sleep and charm
advantage on all int wis and chr saves is better than advantage against just charm, especially when you stack bonuses to con saves and saves in general
and sleep isn't a problem when you have advantage. the likelihood of failing the save is so miniscule that it might as well be like you have immunity to all spells at that point
you lose a bit of movement speed but if you're misty stepping or vault potioning everywhere (as you should be anyway) then the loss of speed is w/e for advantage against SPELLS

ok does anyone know what dye he uses in this play through or why his armor always looks so sick? Is it a mod?
Yeah, thats "dark gothic dye" mod. Closest unmoded will be "black with blue" or smth like this
@@TheSpudKing you’re the best thanks!
you need to buy "Hunting Shortbow" in act 1 to have free advantage against ALL monstrosity enemies
you dont have to attack them with ranged attacks, it will boost ALL attacks
and there are a lot of monstrosity type enemies
Vow if Emnity gives advantage against everything so no need for that bow.
@Cyb3rM1nd but it works only for 10 turns,
The bow is relatively cheap and you also don't use any ranged weapons anyway...
@@LW2000-k3r 10 turns is plenty and can be used every short rest. It will work on every monster. The bow only works on certain enemies and there can be better bow options for when range is really needed.
there is an eldritch invocation that you can chose that will give you adv on concentration saves on lv 2 btw
No, there is not. You must be using a mod to add it.
Liked inmediately when I heard the Lineage 2 Music
So, the final version of the final form of this build is at 15:30 ? Labeling it as "secret stuff" in the description was a bit unhelpful. None the less, the build looks cool.
Doesn't work on any of the steel watch so that's a major hurdle. Also Raphael and Ansur both have over 600 hp (Ansur might only have that on honor mode but it's effectively at least 701 anyway with his gathering power thingy)
Yeah, steely guys still eat smites and extra coatings
Just Blast the Steel Watch with absorb intellect mind flayer perk. They keel over and die in 3 turns. Blast, Invisible, and run away 🏃💀😂
It just occurred to me... as Bards attack with psychic damage wouldn't the resonance stone be a god gift to them? Dissonance whispers on a vulnerable target ... even simple vicious mockery would sting a lot more... 😈
Yeah, and you can use it on your meeele fighter, while bard stays behind
I love the oblivion music 😁
Yeah, I just did the glitch to keep the shadow blade by dismissing one of the hirelings, so you can keep it, so you don't have to worry about concentration
Does it work same w as as flame blade by just dismissing them? If so im excited because I really wanted to do like a dual weild shadow blade assassin
@@percyal1It does. It also scales with spell level, but it becomes a light weapon (not finesse) so you would have to either use a strength build or Pact of the Blade
Hey how do you get that lightning effect on your character? It looks so bright but I don't know where it's from
Probably from "light" cantriip
How does this build fare in mind flayer and githyanki fights where the enemy uses psychic damage against you?
Fine, you just destroy them fast, or there is armour with resistance to psychic
Khaga -
Uh, just out her as a shadow Druid. Take her out and wear her pretty, pretty necklace.
You can save Arabella. No problem.
No need to abuse any bugs for this.
Was this spell changed? I just checked my game, and Shadow Blade isn't a concentration spell. Was it shadow buffed or something?
I dare you to play wild shape panther + assasin + great old one warlock. Use invis to surprise enemies. It does not require resting, just toggle it on and off to reset
Sounds cool 😎
Just tried, my invis is requiring short rest ;( lol, ok...figured out ! Thanks for idea!!!!!!!
Gucking hell, music from Dion city, Lineage II
I miss that game
Also requires savescumming until every single one of your attacks is a crit apparently
Could you do a Tempest cleric / paladin build please ?
Hmmm 🤔 i got loads of stuff planned right now, but it sounds fun and challenging, because stats won't line up too good. So... Will try! 😁
hey, what version of Greensleves did you use for this video? I liked it.
Also, this is a stupid build, I have no idea why you did it, but I'm glad you did. I'm gonna give it a shot and see how absolutely fucked I can make it with a full party focusing on buffing Tav lol
