It’s crazy that media jumps all over Jim Irsay but he led the charge to get AR5 knowing the Colts would adopt this 6-back style offense. It might be even more explosive on the keeper vs handing to RB option if Jonathan Taylor gets back in the lineup. Still trying to figure out if Taylor is truly PUP.

Hes not a franchise qb at all.. . Good debut?? 223 yards 1 td 1 int. 23/37.. passes were high on a lot of them. Almost fumbled the ball. Which he also took the hit..
Hes a jacoby brissett... 2nd string qb at best.. mark my words, he will be traded at end of season.

yeah, but up 2 scores the jags played basic soft D on the last drive to eat up the clock and then they went back to going all out for a stop once the Colts reached the redzone. Coach made more mistakes than anyone! 4th downs that should've been field goals or punts... weird play designs etc. Need JT to get paid as the team is ready to play for AR.

INT was bad but apparently Steichen said that was a result of his play call. Steichen read the coverage wrong and called a bad play. But yeah AR is definitely part of the fault but that was the only “bad play” he had all game arguably and looked very good.

LOL. Dude can't see the field and read a defense to save his life. He's going to spend this season having to run to get first downs, which means he will take twice as many hits as any other quarterback. He's already fragile to begin with, and those hits will lead to countless injuries. Ten bucks says he'll miss more games than he will play in.

I'm a Jags fan and was watching this game and got extremely nervous when we were down 21-17 in the 3Q-4Q. AR played so well for a rookie and for someone that only had 13 career starts at Florida. I'm a Gators fan and have watched him since he was a freshman. I remember, very vividly, it was the opening game against FAU in 2021 and AR came in for a drive in the 4Q. He had this insane Lamar Jackson-like leap over a defender and I immediately knew we had a potential superstar. I may be a Jags fan but I'm also a Gators fan and I am very excited to watch AR's progression over this season.

He is only going to get better as the season progresses. This team desperately needs JT back so teams have to account for the run and we can take some deeps shots. JAX’s coaching staff adjusted well to our gameplan by taking away any deep opportunities and forcing us to dunk and dunk.
