Leonardo was so damn good in Django Unchained and the fact that he was not even nominated for the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for the role is one of the reasons why I stopped watching the academy awards so long ago...

True story. After the release of One Flew Over The Cookoo’s Nest, Louise Fletcher, who played Nurse Ratchett, was ‘attacked’ by an elderly lady while doing her shopping. The lady hit Fletcher with her handbag for ‘what she did to those poor men.’
Colonel William Tavington form the Patriot, is a villain who should've been high on this list. Played to perfection by Jason Isaacs, he had an entire town of people burned alive in a church(including the daughter in law of the protagonist) killed two of the sons of the protagonist including the husband of the woman burned in the church. Anyone who can shoot a 15 year old kid in the back and then mockingly refer to the kid as a "stupid boy" to the boy's grieving father, immediately becomes a hated character. By the time Benjamin Martin rammed that bayonet in his throat at the end you knew he'd had it coming for just about the entire movie!
There’s gotta be over 100 hated movie villains that should have been included on this list. Amon Goeth, Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Freddy Kruger, The Joker, Hans Lauda, Obadiah Stane, Daniel Plainview, Anton Chigurh, Jack Torrence, Saruman, Count Dracula/Drakku, Howard Payne, Little Bill Daggot, Alonzo Harris, Pazuzu, Michael Myers, Leatherface, Pennywise, Mola Ram, Dr. Rene Belloque, Henry the 2nd, Mickey and Mallory Knox, Sgt. Barnes, Gordon Gekko, Bill The Butcher Cunning, Cruella DeVille, Lady Tremaine, Maleficent, Queen Grimhilde, Scar, Clayton, etc.
Don't forget that Denethor also had a palanthir, which he arrogantly thought he could use safely but ended up being driven more and more mad by Sauron, and his hate for Faramir comes from his wife dying during childbirth and he blamed his young son for her demise.
Pretty good list think I would have put the High Evolutionary higher and included Mola Ram from Temple of Doom also what about Leather Face and his family?
Now when it comes to "hate".... Some villains make being evil, kinda cool (like Darth Sidious), and some villains can even be relatable (Darth Vader, Lord Voldemort). Some are just downright funny (Cruella De Vil). Villains that really anger me (even though they are fiction) might be: Commodus (Gladiator), Percy Wetmoore (The Green Mile) and Dolores Umbridge (Harry Potter series). Umbridge maybe most of all. Now I write novels myself, and one villain from my own work I really can't stand is a woman named Mercedes, she was even one of the hardest characters for me to give shape due to her repulsive views on the world (she's the kind of woman willing to literally fuck her way to the top. The kind of woman to give you a friendly maybe even seductive smile when she needs you only to backstab you when the time's right. She's a soldier and her fellow soldiers nicknamed her "whore", which might give you a nice impression of her). If my work even makes it to the big screen I actually feel sorry for the actress who'll have to portray her.
Humperdinck did indeed live a very long time. He changed his name to Jerry Dandridge and became a blood thirsty killer. He targeted women and young couples due to his anger over having been humiliated by Wesley and Buttercup..
Where's Hans Gruber,Agent Smith,Clarence Boddicker,Joker,Ivan Drago,Mr,Joshua,Bill,General Zod,Black Adam,Sheriff of Nottingham,Magneto and Howard Payne they should count too.
FYI, Black Adam is NOT a villain, he’s an anti-hero with a motivation with how his imprisonment happened and how the red wizard was the last Shazam wizard who would later on grant Billy and his siblings powers thousands of years later. Big difference.
Vidal from Pan's Labyrinth just broke me. I've seen what should be worse in real life, but he is a pure sociopath and what he did to that old man I find still beyond comprehension. I would have remained more at ease if he had skinned him, or at least shown more emotion. 😭
Paul Reiser as Burke from Aliens. I still cannot watch him in anything (including mad about you reruns) without instantly being angry the moment I see his face.
Yes, I’m biased because it’s my all time favourite film but Lord Summerisle and the locals of Summerisle itself simply have to be included. Not only do their pagan beliefs lead them down a path of ritualistic sacrifice in the name of a bountiful harvest but the fact they lure Howie onto the island by making him think he’s serving the greater good but then proceed to ingeniously plant the seeds of intrigue and mystery that lead him straight into the trap they’ve themself laid and thus onto a horrific fiery demise then have the gall to have a riotous sing song that still chills me to the bone 59 years on and too many revuewings as to have list count … … oh, and another vote for Norman Stansfeld from Leon, more proof if proof is needed, that Gary Oldman is one of the greatest, most versatile actors out there. With Stansfekd he truly excelled in quiet, untamed menace with frequent explosions of rage and a single minded desire to kill anything and EVERYONE who got in his way whilst listening to Beethoven.
If there's ever a Top 20 Most Hated Animated TV Show Villains list, I hope Gabriel Agreste from Miraculous is hated by enough people to get on that list. What he did to his own son & the Kwamis, especially in Season 5 is scum!
Oh my gosh! Yes! Denethor! One of the most disgusting, despicable characters in all of fiction! Ironically his son is number one on Watch Mojo’s list of most heroic deaths
The nga from oldboy always gotta be number 1. Bro smashed his sister then locked an innocent man up for years and killed his wife and then made him sleep with his daughter and cut his tongue out
Warden Norton from The Shawshank Redemption. He uses his prison as a criminal enterprise, kills a young prisoner because he can prove his slave Andy is innocent, then puts Andy in solitary and threatens to feed him to the sodomites if he dare question anything he says ever again. Then when he is caught, instead of facing the music, he goes out like a coward and kills himself.
I hate Samuel L Jackson’s character in Django Unchained than I do Calvin Candy. He’s a traitor to his fellow slaves by faking a limp to get out of slavery. He’s basically the opposite of the movie’s deus ex machina who was thrown in just to complicate Django’s mission. You’d think that Calvin would have smarts under charisma to figure out that Django and Brunnhilde were lover without SLJ to point it out.
I agree for many. High Revolutionary is disgusting,Wicked Witch of the West, agent Smith,Denethor II,Tannen family,Nathan Jessep,Armitage family,Palpatine should be higher on the list.Maybe top 3. Nurse Ratched is disgusting. Really. Dolores Umbridge is disgusting.Terrible. She surpasses Voldermort. Great video😀

But he was also very charismatic and brilliant played by Hans Landa. Same goes with Amon.
@@madman00774 Hans Landa was brilliantly played by the austrian Christoph Waltz, which i am certain you ment to write.
@@majorprofit Yeah. The guy was so good at acting that I forgot to separate the Actor from the character.
😂😂😂Shooter is very very funny... Denenthor rocks in DC Legends of Tomorrow refusingto to Peter Jackson no more chickens🤣🤣🤣!!!
I think Judge Turpin from Sweeney Todd should have been on this list
That guy from Blood Diamond that yells "WAIT"!!!
Frank Miller….. High Noon. The villains’ name is literally in the lyrics of the original song. RIP Gary Cooper.
Humperdinck did indeed live a very long time. He changed his name to Jerry Dandridge and became a blood thirsty killer. He targeted women and young couples due to his anger over having been humiliated by Wesley and Buttercup..
Dr. Moreau, specifically in the 1932 adaptation. Charles Laughton, you sure were convincing in having me hate you.
Captain Vidal was bad and scary enough, but when he cut himself, he made himself terrifying. O_o
Col. Tavington, Jason Isaacs in “The Patriot”
I'd say you left out a few: Hans Landa, Eve Harrington, Gregory Anton, Amon Goeth, but worst of all, the hunter from Bambi.
Vidal from Pan's Labyrinth just broke me. I've seen what should be worse in real life, but he is a pure sociopath and what he did to that old man I find still beyond comprehension. I would have remained more at ease if he had skinned him, or at least shown more emotion. 😭
1:31 definitely makes sense calling him a manchild because he has one anybody that gets upset very easily are a manchild
Tbh, it’s hard to hate Shooter McGavin. He’s too funny
Paul Reiser as Burke from Aliens. I still cannot watch him in anything (including mad about you reruns) without instantly being angry the moment I see his face.
Where is Joffrey from game of thrones 😂, that kid is just the worst
It's movie villains my guy
Yes, I’m biased because it’s my all time favourite film but Lord Summerisle and the locals of Summerisle itself simply have to be included. Not only do their pagan beliefs lead them down a path of ritualistic sacrifice in the name of a bountiful harvest but the fact they lure Howie onto the island by making him think he’s serving the greater good but then proceed to ingeniously plant the seeds of intrigue and mystery that lead him straight into the trap they’ve themself laid and thus onto a horrific fiery demise then have the gall to have a riotous sing song that still chills me to the bone 59 years on and too many revuewings as to have list count …
… oh, and another vote for Norman Stansfeld from Leon, more proof if proof is needed, that Gary Oldman is one of the greatest, most versatile actors out there. With Stansfekd he truly excelled in quiet, untamed menace with frequent explosions of rage and a single minded desire to kill anything and EVERYONE who got in his way whilst listening to Beethoven.
Should've added Colonel Bagley from the Last Samurai, and both Don Rafael Montero and Captain Harrison Love from the Mask of Zorro to this list.
What about the coachman from Pinocchio?
The most horrible movie was the color purple. I still don’t like Danny glover😡
Or is it his character that he plays that you do not like?. Danny Glover is very good in the Lethal Weapon movies, in my opinion.
@@majorprofit the character I have watched 2 other movies with him. I believe he played the character to well
Percy from the green mile should’ve been on here. Also denethor really isn’t a villain, he’s just a lunatic.
That line, You can't handle the truth!!! Was actually not in the script. Jack, improvised that one.
Umbridge...
The Mist was terrifying once she begins sacrificing people. She was excellent
That why I HATE people who overboard w/ religion!!!
As Doc Holliday said in Tombstone: "I beg to differ, sir..." I think Prince Humperdinck was a most enjoyable villain, not most hated.
If there's ever a Top 20 Most Hated Animated TV Show Villains list, I hope Gabriel Agreste from Miraculous is hated by enough people to get on that list. What he did to his own son & the Kwamis, especially in Season 5 is scum!
It's a little less well-known, but this list should definitely have Guy Pearce's character (the Reverand) from 'Brimstone.'
Nurse Rachet scares the shit out of me.
Oh my gosh! Yes! Denethor! One of the most disgusting, despicable characters in all of fiction! Ironically his son is number one on Watch Mojo’s list of most heroic deaths
The nga from oldboy always gotta be number 1. Bro smashed his sister then locked an innocent man up for years and killed his wife and then made him sleep with his daughter and cut his tongue out
I didn’t like Denethor II at all. Heck, he’s not a good dad
Maybe consider . . . Mola Ram from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom?
Where is Hans Landa ?
Dead serious. Can't get mad at the witch. Her motivation was true. If anyone killed your sister you would want blood too
Thought Iosef from John Wick would've made the list.
High Evolutionary and Umbridge are hell on earth.
That lady from dredd
Warden Sam Norton could be on this list. Maybe coloniel Miles Quaritch
I agree with number 1. A government approved representative pushing propaganda into childrens head at school, is quite a vile thing to do.
Imagine twisting Umbridge to fit your bigoted and transphobic beliefs
I agree for many. High Revolutionary is disgusting,Wicked Witch of the West, agent Smith,Denethor II,Tannen family,Nathan Jessep,Armitage family,Palpatine should be higher on the list.Maybe top 3. Nurse Ratched is disgusting. Really. Dolores Umbridge is disgusting.Terrible. She surpasses Voldermort. Great video😀
