Do some worker micro (repeatedly right click them onto a mineral patch and then a-move) to beat them until your adepts show up. If you don't care about killing them, just spam right click on a secluded mineral patch so only 1 ling can attack all the workers at a time, and your adept can deal with the lings.
I think against 16 pool going SG into a regular macro game can be fine if they're not all-inning you. It's just rough if they decide to roach ravager all-in you after the 16 pool and you went SG first because you won't have the immortal out in time and it really helps to have those vs. the roaches. Voidray just never seems to do enough to slow them down from breaking my wall but maybe with the new faster build time that could be different. Against 14 and 12 pool I think glaive adepts is better at punishing them if they decide to try and macro out of it because as harstem said in the video their follow up all-ins just aren't as good.
@harstem have you ever taken 1-2 sentry's in the main via a prism, force fielded the ramp repeatedly and shad adepts in to kill eco that way? Then save a recall for the all-in to come?
idea for bgmwss: what if you proxy all your (production/pylon) buildings (with or without wall off) and then base trade as soon as he goes to your base?
could you do an another episode where you say how to deal with gas pool ? I have really a lot of trouble against this build more than against early pools
Would a pylon outside the wall on the zergling side, blocking squares to the cybercore and 2nd gateway also work? 100 minerals to reduce the surface area of attack on cybercore by 50% and some protection for the gateway?
Harstem don't get me wrong but I prefer to make walls with something stronger that pylons, normally I use 2 gates and a cyber with a battery or even 3 gates + battery, I don't know how to use Sentries and find hard to use the walls they make (to slow to react), good with attack but hard to defend with them.
If Zerg players can see the glaive build coming, why do lots of them skip out on spine crawlers in the mineral lines? It seems to help in the defense a lot. Instead of each adept targetting down their own drone, 8 adepts all attack the same drone.
because they went for early attack. zerg is already low on drones, doesn't want to be further behind or whatever protoss pushes with after adepts well be decisive.
when I don't see their natural expansion I build a second gateway with my core to complete the wall and get a zelot and adpet, what do you think of my response ?
I just don't understand one thing - why don't you build all the buildings in a row? Why is the gateway always one hex moved towards the enemy? Does not it create more surface area? Thanks to anyone for an explanation.
Putting a Gateway or Cybernetics Core in the middle one hex forward allows you to put another 3x3 structure between it and the pylon. This allows for much easier re-wall when facing an all-in (ling rush/bane bust).
If the buildings are in a row, you cannot full wall with a pylon or shield battery because the corner on one side will meet with the corner of one of your buildings allowing lings through.

but whats the difference in a 14 pool to a 12 pool scouting wise?
What if you were using your supply challenge build instead of glaive adepts? Would you just get the second gate earlier?

Against a roach ravager all-in, is it better to get voids or oracles? Oracles seem to have more utility as the game drags on.
