The "Cut" and the "outback' "Steelside" at the city jail were the war stories i grew up on in the 70's-80's etc. Grew up on construction jobs hearing so much (covering pretty much the whole east coast + a little feds) i'm glad it kept me reasonably straight. All those blind spots to catch the unwary. I have to respect anyone who survived the US system esp' in around 70-2000
I did 13 years. From RCI TO MCIJ & ECI started in 96 & yeah it's dangerous. Especially if you catchin but you not in any Gang. But men respect men & you know how to bid by watching.
I was locked up in the same prison from 1994 to 1999. They just opening up the Jessup annex right beside the cut. The jails in Hagerstown Maryland was off the chain as well. Seen a lot of things happening in there.

Old jail up the Farm in Hagerstown , real bidding there for a medium prison.......... Yeah but the worse is all the max joints , outback aka annex now known as JCI in Jessup, WCI and North Branch with all have inmates from the 🏠 of Corrections aka Cut... JCI aka Annex was known as outback but was the same as Cut , both right next to each other out in Jessup.

In California, when you get dinged up, you're obligated to clean up and hide ANY evidence on your person.., if you're conscious. If not, its your homeboys obligation. Cop: "Y'er goood...?" Convict: "I'm good, officer!"
I started in the cutt MHC at the age of 17 I lost 2 homies n tht spot to murder. I left there n went to Patuxent for a few then got transfers to MCI-J . Tuff spots to do a bit in MHC been closed for a while due to differ t variables due to safety for inmates and CO’s

What's really crazy is Maryland is not known for a gang problem now they everywhere.
I remember coming down to bmore from new york early 2000s & telling local dudes the same sht that hit our hoods in ny(went from drug crews to gangs mid to late 90s) would eventually hit bmore ...& dudes told me dudes only rep blocks/hood no gangs & they doubt it ever come...about 3 years later the bloods,crips,bgf,dmi etc wave took off in the streets(alot of them same dudes who said it wouldn't come are now saying they fellow people are lames for the gang sht)

I started in the cutt MHC at the age of 17 I lost 2 homies n tht spot to murder. I left there n went to Patuxent for a few then got transfers to MCI-J . Tuff spots to do a bit in MHC been closed for a while due to differ t variables due to safety for inmates and CO’s
