    Excellent summary of the science of the critical first three years of child development. More Community-based family support hubs are a better option than more childcare.

    Thank you for raising this awareness Erica! I almost put my 2 yr old in day care and backed out because it felt too early and not good enough for her precious development! My intuition is clear in having my babies close to me until I feel they are ready. My eldest is almost 3 and it now feels natural for her to have more time away from the home and in an environment with other children her age but only a few days/week.

    That's wonderful! It's horrible to abandon kids and elders! It's not natural, that's why it feels so wrong.

    I myself don't want children or to be a parent, but I found your lecture brilliant, important and as a call for a change that is truly needed. Thank you for that!

    Also a very important issue is a healthy ( keto/carnivore ) diet. So give your children steaks or at least eggs and bacon, instead of cereal and sugar.

      Completely agree. Even during pregnancy you should eat a ketogenic diet (3rd keto baby on the way now). My eldest has had the most western diet (I just didn't know) and it does make a difference. I'm working to change the way I feed my children at the moment. They've always been low sugar, but now I'm increasing meat and egg intake whilst trying to reduce carbs. They're definitely calmer and happier when they eat right!

    It's worth noting that it seems the literature from clinical psychology of the past several decades is be reviewed to show that the most children susceptible to stress, by far, are those with the genetic trait labelled Sensory Processing Sensitivity. Essentially they are born with a nervous system that takes in a lot more data.

    Here in Canada most of these things you speak of are free - all paid for by the taxpayer and still abysmal outcomes - bad parenting, kids with minimal life skills having kids - we’re talking about multi- generational fixes - the costs are astronomical

    We are a member of a species that has almost no idea how to raise prototypical adults. The genome has specific and desirable attributes (courage, resilience, self-improvement and sociability) that if enabled make for an almost seamless life as a result. We still have to deal with crappy politicians and governments: but without substance issues, under-achievement or criminality to drag every one else back into the dark. Not one civilisation has embraced the fact that elevating the quality of its replacements is the single biggest gift we can offer ourselves. Across the board.

    Another good solution is to reject the nuclear family as ideal. The best family model is where the grandparent, parents, and children live in the same home. It’s great support.

    This is exactly the reason our little ones are in such a state of fear, anger and anxiety.
    The Cosmic Clock, is a gift from Mother Mary, it explains the importance of the bond with mother for the first years and indeed for us all. The cosmic clock shows us the positive God qualities each month ( when there is abundant assistance from the heavenly beings, and we MUST ASK FOR ASSISTANT) and also the corresponding negatives forces working against these beautiful qualities each month. Every soul has their own specific pattern around the clock, even the planet revolves around this clock.
    Please take a look, PREDICT YOUR FUTURE, author Elizabeth Clare Prophet.
    God bless our little ones ❤❤❤

      There for it is up to US, to become the best version of parents we can become. Especially if you as an individual went through trauma or developed the wrong attachment style then you yourself need to get better in order to not perpetuate the cycle. That is what I am doing.

      Nah, we should stop telling women they aren't good enough or not ready for something. Because that's not fair and that's not nice. She will do a great job because she is interested in doing so. Only people who don't have kids say stuff like this.

      Maybe you didn't concentrate long enough, might want to address your attention deficit and impulsivity issues. Let me give you a heads up here cutiepie, point 3 at 11:35 she addressed parents who need to reevaluate their choices.

  • @MKu64
    @MKu64 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I don't disagree with the overall points - however - Fight or Flight is an instinctive and 'instantaneous', mechanism of the brain that allows us to bypass all the regular decision making that our brain would normally require to take action. It then allows us to extremely quickly, for either getting away (flight) or defending (fight), make a binary choice that is fast to process. It's not at all what this person is describing when talking about the reaction to being left alone from the parents. It may well be that the child experiences damaging emotions and responses that are not ideal... but it's not 'fight or flight'. So I'm confused by the choice of descriptions by this industry (or person).

    Maybe it would be pointless to start teaching soon to be young adults proper parenting skills as standardized education 🤔 we can just copy the dysfunctional parenting skills of our own parents!

    There is no mental health "crisis". People have always had mental health problems and always will. The difference today is that the Internet exists, and so it's more commonly talked about, which is good.

      who are you?

  • @ianian9078
    @ianian9078 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Yeh nah, so female bias it taints all you claim. As a father who let the childs mother sleep in had great times together. Not completely dependant on the mother like you want to claim., it is actually insulting to fathers. What about a child playing in their cot for up to an hour waiting to hear the noise of parents being active, sure they don't wait for ever but they are not scared without parents attending to their every minute. When you make bold claims that can be easily refuted, it castes doubt on all that you say.

      @@et1016 that is very arrogant to assume what I am or am not educated on. Are you able to identify the two other theories used in this speech that are outdated according to recent neuroscientific studies? Please advise me the exact education I require, as I may not know what you know.
