I love being outdoors ❤ I don't mow.. but I tend to the plants. We just put in a small vegetable garden this weekend, praying we get a good harvest the end of July 😋🤩
My husband got me one of those little robot vacs for Christmas and I totally know what you mean! I can’t live with out one now either! Aren’t they great! I agree they’re a life saver for in between cleans
Yard work is one of my favorite things to do, I love cleaning, I love my yard to be as clean as my house inside. I 've been like since I was a young girl, I am 70 years old hold down a full time job and still work in my home keeping it clean, I think it keeps me going, i'm not person who likes to just sit around, I love to stay busy. My husband and I right now are re doing our bathroom almost finished, minor things left to do, next project painting our sitting area and the hall, we have a older home and it's time to refresh everything. So I really enjoy seeing you doing things in your home, it amaze me what you do, I told my husband about, I said, that girl could run a construction crew. Happy Memoral day. I started at 7:00 am and came in at 10:00 am. So satisfying. Karrie, your patio is beautiful! I would love to hang curtains, but I have no wood to connect it too. I like that your videos actually involve cleaning, like realistic cleaning. Not like those videos that appear that the cleaning was already done. I too have laundry that needs to be done, dishes in the sink, lawn needs attending, and have dust. I grew up doing yardwork, love it! Especially that the property we have now requires a riding mower, it's so much fun. Not so much the weed wacker, I let hubby do that.
I grew up in the country so I spent alot of time outside and I still love it.I love the smells of fresh cut grass and we have some honeysuckle on our fence.Gardening and summer always makes me think of my granny.
I love working in my yard. I take pride in my yard. I always want it to look pretty. Since I am older it takes me longer but I enjoy it so much. Then I sit on the porch and admire it.
I used to do all of the yard work because I was a stay at home mom and I actually liked doing it as well. I can no longer do it because the older I get the heat and sun give me migraines. ❤️❤️
Girl yes prefer outside to inside! It's satisfying seeing your grass cut sped up 😂 I think it is a good mental break because it uses being bit more physical and not monotonous mind numbing like you said. A bit more rewarding.
I have always liked mowing, painting power washing. Inside I don’t mind doing the dishes and laundry. I’ve come to learn that my husband helps out a lot more than others do. Years ago when I had been laid off a few times, we cleaned evicted rentals for extra money. Some were so gross and he always tackled the bathrooms and refrigerators because I just couldn’t.
I always loved mowing. It was like my time...no one can talk to you. And the lawn stays looking nice longer than vacuuming. I actually said to my husband I will trade you mowing for vacuuming. He hated mowing so he agreed. But I ended up mowing and vacuuming as well since he never got around to it :)
I love yard work, but can’t do it so much now. As you get older it seems you can’t tolerate the heat as much. I use to mow, weed eat, and edge my car pad and sidewalk. I don’t know how many men have told me when I was doing it that I had the prettiest yard in the neighborhood. They would actually stop as they were driving by on my street. I guess they just thought a woman couldn’t do stuff like that as good as a man. We women can do about anything we set our minds to. Great video Karrie! You rock!!!!

Karrie you remind me of me about 30 years ago. I would work for hours and totally enjoyed it! But 18 years ago an accident stopped that. Oh how I wish that I could do at least 1/4 to 1/2 of what I did! God has me in a different season now. Which I accept but some days it’s really hard! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️. Hi Karrie, I’ve been a fan of yours for awhile now & you’ve really encouraged me to get up out of my depressive episode that I went through for a good 6 months or so. Within that time my house fall to the back burner extremely & I just didn’t have the motivation to even want to get out of my bed let alone clean anything at all not even wanting to take a shower some days. It was horrible & I had knew I was reaching a really low, so I seemed out for help from medical professional for mental illness, im doing great again now, & have been so encouraged that I even opened up my own channel. I remember a few videos back you was taking about when you first open up your channel you just was using your phone to record your content. Well I’m in that same boat as funds are very sparse lately due to the horrible economy right now lol. I would love to hear any tips & tricks you can give to me that will make my process a lot smoother I would really appreciate it a lot. I do record off my iPhone 13 Pro Max with a regular tripod stand. I have a laptop & all the. Just don’t have a ring light yet, or a microphone 🎙 for my voice overs. Unfortunately I can’t purchase all these things at once, so I have yet to be able to upload to my channel cause of missing those two items right now lol. I love cutting the grass and doing the trimming..my husband has maybe only cut the grass 1 or 2 times in the past 4 years since we've moved into our new house. I have a roomba and he cleans my main floor every night as I'm sleeping lol Hope you enjoy your weekend 😊

I was always outside doing something. When I turned 40 the glare of the sun and heat started affecting my health. Sadly, now that I am 50 I hate being outside in the sun and heat. It gives me migraines and nausea. No matter if I wear sun glasses or hats. Honestly, I don't miss it. I'm an indoor worker now.😊

I was always the primary mower up until 2 years ago. I am almost 76. I (like Amy's comment) still enjoy putzing in the yard but can only it for short times because of the heat. I think mowing was rewarding because my soul attention was on one thing. No interruptions! Your yard looks great, Karrie & you have such a sweet family.

me too! Watching your video while waiting for some clothes to finish the wash so I can get outside and mow! I mow about 3 acres on a zero turn, takes awhile but I love that mental break! I always would choose outside work over housework. Gardening, planting, whatever. I use ear plugs to protect my ears though- are you doing that? I owned and operated a lawn care business for 8 yrs., don't forget the earplugs! :)

Hi Karrie - I used to ❤️ yard work in my younger days and definitely more than housework, however I want a tidy house. But now in aging years with lots of arthritis, not so fun anymore. I’m the same way. There’s some soothing about cutting the grass for me. I let my husband handle the weedeating though. We split up the chores around the house. The kitchen organizing is mine solely. But he helps do the dishes and laundry.
I just this year started enjoying being outside. My disability doesnt allow for mowing the yard with a walk mower but a rider I can do and that's what we have. However, I out of the blue began having major allergies. Never in my life have i had allergies. It creates a small problem. Nothing i cant deal with. Love you much!❤❤

We hate yard work, haha. Love housework ! Aw man ..that sucks your vase broke. Haye when things like that happen . We keep breaking glass straws for some reason and it takes forever to clean up. Always nervous when our cat comes around that we may have missed a piece. FL really us perfect for you with loving the outdoors. You really got your use of the electric blower..we have an electric one, but hate having to haul around the extension cord. A battery powered may be a better idea for us.
I had rather be outside too!!! We get stuck in a rut I think of doing repetitive things, so it's a "relief" to do something else. I hope you have a great holiday weekend!!!

Living in Texas though many months out of the year it is hot and humid just like Florida and I don’t tolerate that very well. I don’t mind mowing but I have to much grass 😂 my house is on a side lot so I have yard on Both sides of my house. So it’s like two yards in one. But tomorrow we are working on the front of the house adding white rocks replacing the mulch. I’m exited.
NO!! Never Have and Never Will! When we bought our first house we made an agreement … he does outside work … mowing lawn, etc. and I would take care of inside … all except doing something that involves repair or hanging pictures, etc.! You ask why I can’t hang anything? (I hit everything thing but the nail!) Lots of holes I have put in walls and smashing several thumbs! But … I have painted inside and outside many many houses! Hey Karrie I love my robotic vacuum also, the only problem I had is that I would schedule it to run while I was at work, we’ll it scared our cocker spaniel she ended up pooping in the floor and we’ll you can imagine the mess I had when we got home😮👎
I love yard work and this comes from helping my dad and now lawns at age 7. Also, being in nature helps you clear your mind too. I planted all our trees & shrubs when my husband & I moved into our second home.🌳🪴🌱🌲🌴 mow ***
I would love to be outside more but I can't deal with high heat or humidity it make me sick every time and I have sun allergies so if I get even the smallest burn I breakout and crazy itch the kind that actually hurts and all bumpy , so my outside trips are limited to 20 to 30 minutes tops I burn easy !!! We have no shade !!!!! I love to be outside !!

Funny story… I hesitate to buy a robo vacuum because of a story I heard of a man bought one and had it set to clean at night. When he got up there was dog poop all through his house. The dog had pooped and the vac ran over it and spread it everywhere. I have a Yorkie that poops if I don’t get him out fast enough. I’m in home dialysis and sometimes don’t get unhooked before his urge hits💩. Lol. I giggled when I saw you got one. I hope your doggies are well trained.

I always would choose outside work over housework. Gardening, planting, whatever. I use ear plugs to protect my ears though- are you doing that? I owned and operated a lawn care business for 8 yrs., don't forget the earplugs! :)
I love doing yard work! Just being outside in general! Here in Indiana, we only have a few months of great weather so we try to soak up as much as we can!!
Hi Karrie - I used to ❤️ yard work in my younger days and definitely more than housework, however I want a tidy house. But now in aging years with lots of arthritis, not so fun anymore. I live vicariously through my TH-cam friends and do what I can outside. Thanks for all the inspiration and keeping it real. Happy weekend friend.

I'm older n it's harder for me to do yard work but l love it so l do a little at a time!

I’m the same way. There’s some soothing about cutting the grass for me. I let my husband handle the weedeating though. We split up the chores around the house. The kitchen organizing is mine solely. But he helps do the dishes and laundry.
I just this year started enjoying being outside. My disability doesnt allow for mowing the yard with a walk mower but a rider I can do and that's what we have. However, I out of the blue began having major allergies. Never in my life have i had allergies. It creates a small problem. Nothing i cant deal with. Love you much!❤❤

We hate yard work, haha. Love housework ! Aw man ..that sucks your vase broke. Haye when things like that happen . We keep breaking glass straws for some reason and it takes forever to clean up. Always nervous when our cat comes around that we may have missed a piece. FL really us perfect for you with loving the outdoors. You really got your use of the electric blower..we have an electric one, but hate having to haul around the extension cord. A battery powered may be a better idea for us.

I’m glad you enjoy mowing and like yardwork, but try mowing 2 1/2 acres with a push mower lol. If I had a smaller yard I might enjoy it to.

Hey, girl! I’m definitely someone who loves to be outside making my yard look beautiful!! Living in Texas though many months out of the year it is hot and humid just like Florida and I don’t tolerate that very well. But if money was no issue and the weather was always lovely, I could be found in the yard every single day doing something to make it lovelier!!🌳🌸❤️
I love mowing lawn! The smell is so wonderful and I just love the way a freshly mowed yard looks. I love doing the detail part of trimming and watching the yard become beautiful.

I don’t mind mowing but I have to much grass 😂 my house is on a side lot so I have yard on Both sides of my house. So it’s like two yards in one. But tomorrow we are working on the front of the house adding white rocks replacing the mulch. I’m exited.
NO!! Never Have and Never Will! When we bought our first house we made an agreement … he does outside work … mowing lawn, etc. and I would take care of inside … all except doing something that involves repair or hanging pictures, etc.! You ask why I can’t hang anything? (I hit everything thing but the nail!) Lots of holes I have put in walls and smashing several thumbs!
But … I have painted inside and outside many many houses! I have allergies galore!

Hey Karrie I love my robotic vacuum also, the only problem I had is that I would schedule it to run while I was at work, we’ll it scared our cocker spaniel she ended up pooping in the floor and we’ll you can imagine the mess I had when we got home😮👎

I would love to be outside more but I can't deal with high heat or humidity it make me sick every time and I have sun allergies so if I get even the smallest burn I breakout and crazy itch the kind that actually hurts and all bumpy , so my outside trips are limited to 20 to 30 minutes tops I burn easy !!! We have no shade !!!!! I love to be outside !!

Funny story… I hesitate to buy a robo vacuum because of a story I heard of a man bought one and had it set to clean at night. When he got up there was dog poop all through his house. The dog had pooped and the vac ran over it and spread it everywhere. I have a Yorkie that poops if I don’t get him out fast enough. I’m in home dialysis and sometimes don’t get unhooked before his urge hits💩. Lol. I giggled when I saw you got one. I hope your doggies are well trained.
