Arun Kolatkar's "An Old Woman" is explained in detail with Graphics in Hindi. This poem is also a part of NCERT Syllabus, BA and MA English Literature & other competitive examinations like SET, NET, JRF etc
Poet Arun Kolatkar travelled to Jejuri to visit Khandoba Temple. On the way he cam across many experiences. For each experiences he wrote one poem. An Old Woman is the poem for the experiences he got when he reached Jejuri and met with her.
Poet wrote individual experiences for particular poems. He wrote total 31 poems based on his travel experience and named the collection poems as "Jejuri".
