As someone who's starting out shooting videos for TH-cam while being a student - these videos are perfect. I can't afford expensive gear at the moment and I've tried a lot of cheap options but haven't managed to find something that actually worked. I'll try out this mic, thanks!
That Takstar microphone is fantastic. I bought one because it was cheap and I work in cars, engines, outside. It is a harsh environment. I was hoping it would last 6 months but has made it 2 years and is still going strong.
The gold is really good during sunset or for the golden hour photos and video, stand a bit away and just direct a bit of light at your model and it gives them a nice glow. Golden hour is my favorite time to take photos.
You do a great job on videos, I live in Georgia, so you talk a little fast for us southerners, But I certainly appreciate your expertise, you’re very helpful. I’m a newbie on making TH-cam videos and this channel is just so helpful, I appreciate all of that this channel does to help us!

I thought mic actually helps you have high pitch voice but doesn't. It actually eliminates all the unwanted background noises. I bought two mics already cause i was uninformed. Now it makes sense. Thank you for this videos. They are very helpful.
My favourite part of this video was the MIC for $25! I recently got a camera to film on but the audio is really terrible so this is going to help me a ton!
And it really is a decent mic, no lie. Is it as good a Sennheiser? No, of course not. But it will give you sound that is really good enough for 99% of your needs!
I really want to start a channel, what videos do you recommend for learning using my Samsung 20 to start ? Also best edit video? I think I understand all but the most important is the Editing. I retired early as a Rest. server from 13 yrs old to now 56 and you tubing really interests me. I am a hands on learning kinda person and I really wish I had a 1 on 1 learning from someone.

I went from a rebel T7 to an m50 and yes! It is a great camera. I use for streaming and my videos and out of the box it looks great. Gonna get a converter so I can use the lenses ingot for my t7

Just got the Takstar boom mic and the deity lav mic from Amazon today... The difference between those and the Rode Video Mic Go on my Canon M50 Mk1 is like night and day. I like how he talked about the pre amp in the canon cameras not being great because I have yet to find someone talk about that yet. Saved me from spending the extra money on the Rode Video Mic Pro.
where can I find a 'zooming in effect' you are using for the thumbnail? I see several TH-camrs use this for their thumbnails but I can't find this anywhere. Any help would be so much appreciated!

My only “gear” that I just have for shooting my videos (because that’s the only thing my budget allows me) was a Redmi Note 8 Pro and the Osmo Mobile 3.
I use iPhone XR to film. My only problem is not seeing myself. I've seen couple of TH-camrs connecting their devices to a PC so they can see how they appear while filming. Any idea how to?
I've switched to using usb battery cheaters for all of my cameras so I can plug them directly into 30ah usb batteries that last all day long instead of having to worry about changing batteries... then i can just charge the usb battery. my zoom h4n audio recorder can also be powered over usb and supplies phantom power for my nicer mics.

@@xPRxMEx each lens has a different “thread size”. Google “Sigma 30mm 1.4 Sony lens thread size” and then that’s the size of that lenses thread size that will work with that size filter!

I use an iPhone 11 an iPhone XS for filming, a cheap ring light and 2 x Pixel G1s RGB lights for background…. Job done lol 😂

Mic stands are also good for light/camera stands. mic stand camera adapter's go for like 2-3 bucks ;)
