    So stoked to see where you carry this! I’d love to see you document the entire process of exploring this idea on camera, I think it’d be really cool to see this in depth on film!

    Very interesting. Really enjoyed how methodically you worked through this, liked being a passenger on your learning experience. Subbed! BTW I believe that the top row on PP is 8v but the 2 and 3rd rows are 5v. Great stuff, look forward to more of these!

    Cool way to use Beads!! Never would have thought to do that with it, thanks for sharing!

    Finished the vid, the beads version sounds really great. V excited to see you playing with that longer timescale with the looper

      I feel like I need to read the manual for some of those chase bliss pedals, maybe Habit I think it’s called, which has a really long automatic looper embedded somewhere. I think it’d be fun to emulate some of those ideas

    Cool patch! Can't wait to hear the addition longer looping and the Panharmonium. I'm sure you probably already know this, but recently I was surprised to learn that StarLab sums the left and right inputs before running it through the rest of the processing, though the dry signals will at least retain their original stereo image. You might never run into it given the way you're running it but thought I'd mention it since it looks like you're running your whole mix through it, and you're making such heavy use of stereo generally.

      I think I’m largely ok with that and it definitely hasn’t impacted my starlab fandom. If I could add one thing to it though, it’d be a ping pong option on the delay, which might be impossible given the architecture you’re describing. Pretty sure panharmonium does a similar thing if I’m remembering correctly.

    I see you have acquired an Eas now. Great choice!
    And for feedbackpatching, the AI Stereo Matrix is great, as well as well as the Stereo-Mic, you could throw in a Instruo Tanh[3] (so underrated and good for many things) to control the feedback in the most pleasant ways.
    Personally, I like to feedback in the rack itself and oftentimes use MD Papomi for that task.

      I’ve had the Eas just hanging out in my overflow palette case for a while. Thought it deserved to come back into the A case and help with some trigger sequencing. It’s a great little utility for sure. I haven’t given tahn3 much of a look yet but I’ve always heard great things

      @@thismeanswarbasse the point with Tanh[3] for people seems to be that it has no CV-control and most guys don‘t seem to know how to make use it. I find the concept of dynamic-dependent effects or stacking channels very interesting and would instantly buy a version which is stereo-coupled since it is a nice limiter as well.

    Only a little into the video but before you buy some more normal tendrils you might want to wait for when the tendrils stackables get released (apparently in the next few weeks)

      @@EverythingYouDoIsABalloon it's just a preference thing really, their strength is that they're low profile so Imo easier to see through at the cost of not being able to pack as many cables into super dense areas of jacks. I still use standard cables when I need to but personally I find them very useful. With stackables: again it depends how you want to patch. Passive doesn't mean bad inherently & having a 0hp passive multiple can have a lot of utility. Personally I really like having stackables for things that I want normalised but to still be able to pull out/pipe in other voltages without having to repatch everything (esp with the landscape allflesh allowing me to make momentary connections on the fly). I'm excited to try the tendrils stackables as tendrils and stackables make up like 90% of the cables I enjoy using with thin standard cables making up that last 10%.

      I’ve had mixed success with stackables but I now put most of that blame on my kids playing with them when they were very young. I think a lot of the issues I have are a dull corrosion on the actual metal contacts on the male part of the stackable and not a uniquely stackable issue.
      All that aside, I’d totally try out some tendril stackables and I had no idea they were coming out. I gotta see if they’ll be at knobcon next month…

    I dont know if this is relevant to your seed trigger issue, but I remember another video talking about using an envelope before the seed trigger input with a little spacing to let the seed trigger sound more as desired.

    • @thismeanswarbasse
      @thismeanswarbasse  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oo haven’t heard that. Like passing an envelope to seed instead of trigger?

    • @blindianajones
      @blindianajones ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thismeanswarbasse I think it was in Divkid guide to beads. He shared how he had to use an envelope to get the timing of triggers to work. I think he said he used a little bit of attack through an AD envelope. The envelope helped with spacing / timing / playback when he was hitting beads with a lot of triggers.

      @@thismeanswarbasse Its pretty much a trigger delay before going into beads. Btw, with this and your Lubadh control with pressure points, are you using brains? Or just PP out to whatever you want to control? I dont own a PP, but I like the idea of pairing it with the instruo harmonaig and if I did that, I dont see the point of brains. Unless there is something I dont understand about the limitations of PP and brains is needed.
