imagine being so respected that you can go to the kings palace and wake him up personally
"Ya Allah, bless our dear shaykh Abdul Aziz bin baz.
Reward him abundantly, ya Allah.
Make his grave spacious, bright and cool.
Ya Allah, admit him to janathul Firdous and unite him with the Messengers, the prophets and the sahabas".

One of those duat who has now become a shaykh called Nuur Ali Baruud died May Allāh have mercy upon him. Verily to Allāh we belong and to him we return. May Allāh reward the Shaykh with Al Firdaws in Jannah and make his grave wide and peaceful for him and our Shaykh Mufti Ibn Baz رحمه الله and reward him with good for aiding his brothers. Sheikh Ibn Baz رحمه الله aided the dawah a lot over in Somalia and other than it.
May Allah Mighty and Majestic have mercy on Shaykh Ibn Baz.

Surooris and qutbis and the followers of sayyid qutub who was a thinker not sholar, i one time tryed to read one of his books, in like every 30 pages there is like 1 ayah of quran, he speaks his mind more than kitab nd sunnah, the ulama declared sayyid qutub as an innovator and warned againts him

I'm Somali and we Somalis we believe the root of the Somalia problems is the killing of the imams that former dictator president of Somalia did but the total number dictator Siad Barre executed were 10 ulama. May Allah grant that imams janatul firdowsa.
As a somali, I agree. my auntie said that day the sky changed to black and people got scared but allahu a'lam. They were killed for saying women and men don't get equal amount for inheritance. perhaps other reasons as well but this is the only reason I know of.

Siyad barre president of somalia killed 10 scholars in 1975 for refusing to obey his orders for which he declared that inheritance btwn a man and woman will be 50/50 no a third or khums or a quarter or two third.. clearly against quran .. the 10 scholars who spoke about it were puplicly executed on and attained martyrdom on Monday 2/71975.. in 1986 siyad barre attempted to execute 15 more scholars and 20 more to be placed in prison for ever.. most were the students of Sheikh ibn bazz.. king abdulaziz intervined and begged siyad barre to stop the killing of scholars.. with much pressure coming from Saudi they were spared thanks to king abdulaziz

@@ProudSalafi he was a communist who rejected the ayaat of Allah ﷻ when it came to i heritance and when the shayuukh of somalia refuted him publicly, he was enraged and had them executed.

hang on a minute this story doesn't add up, bin baz died in 1999, and king abdullah only become king in 2005, after king Fahad died, when bin baz was alive there was no king abdullah

Meaning he was Ameer at the time but we now know him as King Abdallah (may Allah have mercy on our Muslim leaders wherever they ruled).
These 6 prisoners who were pardoned should not be confused with the 20+ that were detained and out of them they killed 10.

Hamid Hussein First of all, I'm an agnostic person, I left Islam two years ago after long research, and I don't believe in hell or heaven. I personally don't agree with the killing spree the late president Siad Barre did to the terrorists who were trying to spread Wahabism cancer in secular Somalia. I would imprison them if I were in his place if they were a threat to the society. I believe Somalia was better off back when it was secular.
