I've felt my attention span dropping over the years and I usually click "watch later" on most videos that I want to see that are more than 2 minutes. But subhanAllah I was longing for more after seeing this. I teared up when I saw the student greet the sheikh, look at the manners subhanAllah. The video ended too soon. May Allah grant Sheikh ibn Uthaymeen jannat al firdaus and grant abundant blessings to everyone in that gathering.
Assalamalikum brother, I had the same problem, sorry if I am late to assisting you, but it is a problem which troubles a lot. I would just recommend you to minimise your use of electronic and digital entertainment and absolutely boycott the short content such as shorts and tiktok. After doing this my attention span improved a lot, I just wanted to help. Jazak Allah khair
Except the second answer was wrong. If a person forgets to wash the filth off it depends on whether it is ghaleeza or khafeefa. If ghaleeza and less that a large coin, it is excused, otherwise the prayer is invalid as a shart of the Salah is purity of the garment from najasa.

@@saadshafi5017 Salam my brother, if I understood correctly from the brothers statement, he wishes to be with those brothers sitting there (I wish the same also so I envy them.) In regards to the hadith, it is referring to Hasad (destructive envy) means wishing that a blessing that Allah has bestowed on the envied person be taken away. However, there are different degrees of envy. If a brother wishes for himself a blessing like that which someone else has, without wanting it to be taken away from the other person, this is permissible and is not called Hasad, rather, it is called Ghibtah.
@@saadshafi5017 Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Envy is permitted only in two cases: A man whom Allah gives wealth, and he disposes of it rightfully, and a man to whom Allah gives knowledge which he applies and teaches it." [Al- Bukhari and Muslim]. Beautiful how the shaykh asked questions in regards to the prayer, the most important thing after belief, one of the pillars and that which is the barrier between being a Muslim and non-muslim. May Allah reward and bless the shaykh, forgive him for his mistakes, and protect him and for noor to surround him.
