This video and your channel was randomly suggested to me around midnight lol. Just wanted to say that you come across as being very bright, articulate and thoughtful so I'm sure things will work in your favour. God bless 🙏🏾
Nice video bro... im facing a similar situation where I am unsure whether to continue with my Big 4 ACA grad scheme(1.5 years into it) or perhaps look into starting up my own business. I've always wanted to do my own thing but im so unsure where to start 😩
Thank you for your vids btw man. The info helped me get a role in DA (M&A). Haven’t started yet but just wanted to ask, were you charged a fee for leaving due to training costs etc?
Congratulations - love to hear it! and thanks man really appreciate that Will mention details about this in my next video In short - there's no clawback for KPMG empowered program , but you have to pay the exam fees for intensive program
Cheers my broski - thats a good question I think I was always wanting to move somewhere (not necessarily into a startup), but I think that after the 1 year of full experience under my belt you can kind of leverage that experience in your advantage and so after that 1 year point , i just started actively looking and exploring option tryna make a move before this makes your experience look kinda weak and you jump ship too much, 1.5 year is a respectable tenure, not too short but not long either yah get me
You haven't even stayed in the grad scheme for 2 years and finished your qualification and you are worrying about being pigeoned holed sounds like you are trying to run before you can crawl.
imo i wouldnt call a few more exams and becoming slightly more adept at excel "running" i touched upon this in the video i already know what "running" looks like - it's learning more about Auditing regulation and Tax compliance with the ACA and it's becoming slightly more adept at Financial due diligence and Financial modelling (things that I'm already capable level of doing) In the next 1.5 years, what extra benefit would these skills bring to the table in the path that I'm pursuing? In the 2 months I've been at my startup, I'm already flying in comparison cos you don't have the luxury to crawl, walk or even run in an early stage startup
Making the jump isn’t for everyone, I’m glad you’re growing exponentially rather than linearly as you’ve got the mindset and capability to do so 🙏🏽
thanks dad
