Thanks for this interview. Please note that Lagos State was created on 27 May 1967 according to the State Creation and Transitional Provisions Decree No. 14 of 1967, which restructured Nigeria into a federation of 12 states.
Brilliant presentation. I cherish the freedom you gave the Chief to express his opinion without much interruption. You only interject when you need further info on a issue. Thanks.
Because I could remember vividly when my uncle Alhaji S A ADEBAYO then of shell petrochemical company ( National oil) brought Apola to my home town of Ede in OSUN state in November, 1974 to play for late Pa Adeleke of ILE-Agate final burial on behalf of his wife -daddy’s death
Good Job. Baba Animashaun was one of my lovely musician then. Will never forget his super hit. APOLA IJO OLOLA, IJO ALAFE, IJO TOLO DE. More strength Baba.
How I wish a question about Ebenezer Obey and King sunny ADE , and Bobby Benson be asked from Apola, when and where and how Was their music growing then
Hi Agbaletu. Happy Xmas & prosperous new year in advance. I'm one of your fans and I do enjoy your program and concepts. Kudos!!! I've some suggestions that I think you can introduce to the program. One, can you introduce or play some musical or artistic pieces of your guest at the course of the interview .This will refresh old memories of old fans of your guest and your fans also the millennials watching can see the art work of your guest? 2ndly, can you redefine your objective. I became your fan due to the fact that you only engage in musical related interviews but I could see social; live related interviews which are good and thoughtful. You just need to be objective and follow your focus strictly so that your fans will know what you preach. Sir, these are just suggestions and observations not necessary you adopt them Thank you and God bless your work
An excellent interview Pa Idowu Animashahun is indeed a great man with incredible memory Very factual and truthful Also Agbaletu also displayed great maturity and patience in handling the interview
Good job from Agbaletu, although it’s appears baba didn’t give some negative info about some events while he was playing music, I had listened to many of his interviews and he talked about his instrument got burnt while facing a particular musician. And some stories.

What happened to him in medical field is called mini stroke. I’m surprised you attributed it to a spiritual attack and that’s one of the main reasons Nigerians die. If anyone experiences such symptoms they should be checked out immediately by a physician.
Shame you didn't get Apola Kind to talk about the track he released in 1981/82 in which he eulogised late "Henry Olayiwola, Omo Ladipupo. We want to know more about that chart-topping record and how to find it.
