OMG, thank you Dele for bringing this God love man, Some people in Nigeria are so evils in spreading bad rumours, it was said that Olu Fajemirokun was in US prison for pushing drugs, that was the last thing I heard of him then, To God is glory for keeping Olu alive till now.
Glad to see this man . I was still telling a friend that we enjoyed his music while younger then . I never believed he’s still alive until am seeing him now . I enjoyed his music while growing up . God bless him.
I love this man the first musician ever watched his documentary that speak about everyone in music with respect either old ,same age or young. God bless you Olu Fajeminrokun. From Ile - Oluji ( OIJEFON ).
Uncle Olu is a good man i remembered when he came to Los Angeles , i remembered i was his “ stage Manager ” guy , this was 2006, very good man . Hes thesame kind man in real lifr . God bless you sir
I met this man some years ago at a party in Maryland. As soon as I entered the hall, I saw him singing and I knew him right away it was him. He sang the same way he used to sing and the whole hall erupted.
Uncle Olu Fajemirokun, it's been a long time. He was dating one of my besties in 1992 and both were coming to my house for visits. And i was having a good time at Skindles Club on Ojuelegba Rd on Fridays where he used to have his Friday shows. Good man and loves my children then. I live in New Jersey now.
A fantastic man, very humble. Reminded me of how I got my traveling ticket out of Nigeria in 1974 via Henry Steven travel agency, corner of Balogun and Broadway.
I really enjoyed this interview. Olú Fajemirokun is a comple gentleman. Very honest with his responses, just like baba Adedara Arihunraloja, Feyisara ( former drum set player for Lagbaja) & Apola king. May the soul of Dayo Kujore rest in peace. Every Juju musician you have interviewed attested to his prowess on guitars, not to mention his sonorous voice. Agbaletu keep it up.
Olu Fajemirokun is very good friend in the early 80s, in Papa Ajao area where I was living then. He was the one that played when I have my twins then 8 days. He played free without kobo from me. Very humble, generous and friendly. You may not remembered me again. But we knew ourselves very well. I lived very close to Baba Commander house in Papa Ajao in those days
I met him in 2000 in Minnesota he used to work as a paramedics he brought medical equipment to crystal health care center in CRYSTAL MINNESOTA I used to work there he’s a very humble man
This is an epic interview thank you Agbaletu. Baba Olu, your humility is top notch and worthy of emulation, God bless you sir and long may you live in good health and sound mind.
If you listen very well he said if you have money so how can u make money in a place where system is not working .where the people that bebefit are poiiticians and their cronies. Listen to his last statement " gbogbo nnkan ti e n fi agbara ati agidi se ni naija waa naga mu lowo kan ni america
Olu Fajemirokun left Nigeria when he was really making waves, He won best juju artist in Nigeria music award in the year 1992 with juju Samba, defeating Shina Peters Dancing Time and Dele Taiwo Magic Moment.I love his obey style of music due to his fast tempo heavy transitional percussion(Omole,Bata,Conga)
@@boluwajiolalekan4173 lol. You are the liar here or maybe your brain is failing you due to old age. Dancing time was weak. Ask people to na, Shina's 89 and early 90s album, it will be Ace, Shinamania, and Experience. Dancing time didn't make the cut.
What about the likes of Ahuja Bello, Dele Abiodun etc. You forgot to ask him about his Friday gigs at Skinless Night Club on Ojuelegba Rd, around Yaba. Nice and cool guy ni Uncle Olu Fajemirokun. My best friend then was his girlfriend and they were frequent in my house. Nice memories, though!!.😊
Don’t mind Shina Peter. He was sarcastic with some of his statements during the interview. Shina is a great musician no doubt and I love him to high heavens but a display of immaturity is which was evident in his early years is still very much with him. You can see simplicity and humility in Olu Fajemirokun (even thought I’m not much of his fans as I am for SSP)
Agbaletu, can you pls help us interview Mama Abike Kubura Adebisi that Yusuf Olatunji praised. I heard Mama is still alive. May she live long. Some important and notable fans of these musicians could as well be brought on board this is an important program. Kudos bro, we enjoy you.
But chief Henry oloyede fajemirokun was from ile-oluji and this uncle olu is from ifewara, how are they now related ?. Because chief fajemirokun was the yegbata of ile-oluji when he was alive
Agbaman, do you see how Olufajemieokun is admitting to have accepted and used songs and arrangements written by his bandsmen, Artist such as Shina Peters will never admit to that and would never give others credit for their contributions to his music.
@sikiruoyediran2333 0 seconds ago This's a well coordinated interview session and I want to say Sir Olu Fajemirokun is a very humble personality even up till this current time.More grace to you Sir!

One major thing that a lot of people talked about on this platform is Olu Fajemirokun’s gentleness and humility. Kudos to him. Keep it up sir.
I love this man the first musician ever watched his documentary that speak about everyone in music with respect either old ,same age or young. God bless you Olu Fajeminrokun. From Ile - Oluji ( OIJEFON ).
Olufajemirokun is a complete gentleman whose music passes message that helps in life... Long life sir.

I live here in Minnesota and I can attest to this man statement, i had been to events where he played, its true
I met him in 2000 in Minnesota he used to work as a paramedics he brought medical equipment to crystal health care center in CRYSTAL MINNESOTA I used to work there he’s a very humble man
I love his humility. He speaks with confidence and facts. An original omolúàbí. May God continue to bless him with wisdom.
I really like this man, he really humble and friendly that it is why he closed with anybody,God bless you sir
This is one of the best interviews that I have watched on this channel. Sir Olu Fajemirokun is a jolly good fellow. Kudos to the interviewer
Olu Fajemirokun rocked social circles in Lagos and southwest states back in the good old days
Hello Uncle Olu,
This is Deacon from Chicago. I played with you a few times with Ponle, Lanre, and Jonah. Eku ijo meta Sir.
Thanks, you remember your boss.
U r correct... Lanre, that's is ibukun Nd Ponle in Minnesota...
This is an epic interview thank you Agbaletu. Baba Olu, your humility is top notch and worthy of emulation, God bless you sir and long may you live in good health and sound mind.
1975 to 1996 and we can only find 2 albums online. I need more.
God bless Olu Fajemirokun. He’s right in saying there’s no where like Nigeria. Nigeria is the best country in the world
If you listen very well he said if you have money so how can u make money in a place where system is not working .where the people that bebefit are poiiticians and their cronies.
Listen to his last statement " gbogbo nnkan ti e n fi agbara ati agidi se ni naija waa naga mu lowo kan ni america
This man is 71. God really bless him with good statue
This man is very humble and respectful to a fault despite his family pedigree. I like him.

It is a big lie, no album in Juju music in those days defeated SSP dancing time.
the album O LOMORI won lot of awards
@@boluwajiolalekan4173 lol. You are the liar here or maybe your brain is failing you due to old age. Dancing time was weak. Ask people to na, Shina's 89 and early 90s album, it will be Ace, Shinamania, and Experience. Dancing time didn't make the cut.
Why the interviewer look like young sir Olu Fajemirokun? I'm confused
I loved his two songs that i still listen to, his evergreen Olomori & Samba records.😊
Fajemirokun you are a great musical of your time I Love you
Our dad here is very respectful

You are a great musician with good composition. OLOMORI BABA!
A well cultured Yoruba man.Remain highly blessed.Olomorioo.
I looooove your smile and humility. Keep shining 🌟.
Humble and gentle Olu Fajemirokun❤
The no night party thing started I believe during Diya when he was Governor in Ogun State.

My guy Olu Fajemirokun...we saw last at Faslak Apapa..in 1993 @the premier of 'olomiri'... With Chief Prat ....
Ebenezer Obey used omele drums on the flip side of his Thank You album in 1984.
Mama Toyin yen ti ku,o served as police woman in abeokuta very tough woman
Uncle Olu,I love your music,we promoted you in University of Ibadan Olomori.
Always i enjoy your interview God continue bless you uncle
NICE SINGER ,VERY HONEST& RESPECTFUL.
Thanks for this.
Baby has got an infectious smile.
Wishing you long life, good health and more of God's blessings
Very humble and calm, great man
Great Olu Fajemirokun!!!!!!!!!!!
Henry Steven's Nigeria limited is the name of the travel agency. It was IATTA certified
Very humble man!
Yes Apola King, he was based in Ibadan then.
I love this interview. God bless you 😊
"O l'omori" was in 1991 and SAMBAA was in 1992
Very correct 👌
@Adeyanju. You are doing a very wonderful and vital interview. So much educative. I love it.
O Lomori was released 1991. it was nominated and won best juju album alongside Dancing Time 1992.
Great musician.
The way this man praised Alhaja bolajoko kadiri was just too much . if they praised anyone like that if he is not careful he may go and rob bank
It was late kujore that praised Alhaja bolajoko kadiri and not uncle olu fajemirokun
Agbaletu can you pls be playing little part of the music of guest if i may suggest for flash back and also for memories.
Thanks for the good jobs ❤
Almost 10k subscribers. Was there from under 500 subs
Wow! Nice one👍🏾💖
I thoroughly enjoyed this interview
More grace to your elbow sir🙏🏾
But chief Henry oloyede fajemirokun was from ile-oluji and this uncle olu is from ifewara, how are they now related ?. Because chief fajemirokun was the yegbata of ile-oluji when he was alive
The fact that he had a chieftaincy title from a town didn't really meant he was from that town... methinks
If you are cousin to family of late chief Henry Fajemirokun; which means you are originally from Ile - Oluji .
NMS Travel...owns by chief Henry Fajemirokun....
This man is simple, humble and no bitterness.
Adeyanju agba letu, may you never fall. Keep waxing stronger.
Please sir do you know any jumoke fajemirokun ?. She is a fair skin lady that we did classes together at Ayo ni O in ijesha tedo around 199/96.
YOUR GUEST IS VERY SPECIAL AND SIMPLE
Miami to Seatle is an end to end. SO far
There’s one of my nephews that we aliased”olomori”.Glad to see him but just for correction America has 50 states not 52.
The late Dele Akindeju (he took over from the Late Gabriel Adedeji) played base guitar for Baba Ebenezer Obey for over 3 decades.
Coast to coast is about 4hours,8 hours is over statement
E ku eto olotu olorun yoso agbara dotun
What a very Wrong Decision for a talented Nigerian musician!! Travelled to USA since 1996!?!!!
It’s his life. I heard he is a successful paramedics in Minnesota’s . Nothing wrong with his decision
Olomori Was not Released In 1993, It was Released And Became A Global Hit In 1991.
If there is no hawaian guitar, no Obey style
Agbaman, do you see how Olufajemieokun is admitting to have accepted and used songs and arrangements written by his bandsmen, Artist such as Shina Peters will never admit to that and would never give others credit for their contributions to his music.
When you leaves out of Nigeria, your perspective will change with abinibi.
Only 50 states not 52
For correction, it is fifty states not fifty--two states
Ok, thank you sir. All you could get from a two-hour interview was a harmless error😢. Continue😊
It’s a slip so let it slide
Officially its 50 states but presently its 52 states. So don't give anyone headache. Bro. Olu Fajek is right
It’s actually 50 states and The District of Columbia.
Best juju artist? in 1992?
