Have the same bike. Also did a version of a cafe racer. Woodcraft has some great clip ons that are very comfy and look the part. I still went with the Tarozzi clip ons with risers, but mostly because they didn't let me return them after realizing that they don't work well with the stock tank. Either way they work fine for me. I have long arms and just sit closer to the tank when my wrists and neck get tired. Wish more people would cafe out this super fun and practical motorcycle.
I’ll have to check those out! Ended up stripping the tarozzis when I removed them so they’re no good to put back. I agree! I’m always hunting on google to get some more inspo. Definitley more than a few years ago but still not very many. Would love to do a complete rebuild eventually and hide that battery..
@@phillyjaybro yeah, I thought about making mine more of a pure cafe racer....problem is, the more you mess with the original design the more issues you will have in the future. One of the simple problems I'm encountering is after lowering the bars my lower throttle cable has broken twice in a year. So, any advice there would be appreciated.

Since I’m 6’3”… so I know you had Paulo terucci clip ons, but which ones did you use, since it looks like you still had decent steering movement. Was it the high rise version? I know they offer different riser sizes. Thanks!

@@phillyjaybro Yes, it works wonders. Give her a good blow, then take her for a ride. In my experience, it gets the water out of the crevaces.
I do it with cars, boats, etc. I’ve found the less I touch the paint, the fewer swirls I get. The blower helps big time, less contact.
