So billet flywheel, billet rod, and 18 or 22 pound valve springs??? I've already got the mikuni carb and header pipe and I get valve float now.
U need valve springs to stop the valve float. Guessing you've figure that out by now.

ours did at least 60 mph when we were kids. I miss racing like 6 kids had one growing up we meet up at a church parking lot and race. I remember out running 2 bicycle cops he was so mad we was doing laps around them untill I seen them call on the walkie we got out of that area fast!!!

How to make a 65 mph minibike? Apparently i just gotta get a stock motor, remove the gov internaly and get a small sprocket on the back hooked up to a clutch and i hit 65 70 mph with a stock hemi. And 55 60 on a stock 212

Yo what about gearing? I have a doodlebug with 212 predator, air filter, jet, pipe, governor zip tie trick and a catch can but I have a 35 chain with a 10 tooth clutch and a 70 tooth rear sprocket. What's the right ratio to go faster then 33 mph. I'm a heavy fuck now I'm like 230 lbs but real shit I'm trying to learn. Ik on bigger bikes a torque converter helps, should I get one idk any input would help my man I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass
nah im wondering the gearing too, 65mph dont mean anything unless theres a gear ratio calculation alongside it. get yourself a lower tooth count rear sprocket for faster top speed and a higher tooth count rear sprocket for faster acceleration. royaljz running somewhere around 4 to 1 ratio so 10 on clutch and around 40 on rear sprocket you can hear it in the vid all clutch til at least 30mph
Stock ct100u with a stock 212 went 48 with a 12 Tooth clutch

@ 1:45 when you're talking about the Cam hitting higher rpm is that WITHOUT the governor? And What is the highest RPM a stock cam can hit ungoverned?

If the engine is stock a upgraded flywheel won’t do anything, might even slow the bike down.

I didn't know Val float could be solved by cams you know normally that's solved by stiffer valve springs
That's because most performance cams require heavier than stock springs. As an example, you can't run a 275 cam on stock springs. However, the CL series cams run on stock springs. The CL3 and 4 get to well over 6K RPM on stock springs. Not many guys run them in minibikes because they are stock lift cams.
@@Deucealive75 you know what valve float is right well assuming you do the cure for valve floating is a stronger spring because it will close the valve and stop it from floating valve float is when the valve doesn't close stays open because the spring is not strong enough to pull it back in the short amount of time

I have a joe bike. I can't go faster than 30mph because it stats wobbling. I can't figure out why.
How much rake do you have on the front?
Do you have a steering stabilizer?
I ask for this reason.
If you can, change the front to have about 4.5 to 5 degrees of forward rake.
This makes it a bit more stable at higher speeds.
If you also put a stabilizer on it, similar to Suzuki GSXR or similar race bikes, that will dampen your bumpsteer.

The valve covers are different
Seems like you need more teeth on the clutch and some less on the rear
