Their hiatus kinda pushed their musical talent to the back burner after bands like mastodon and killswitch and trivium went big….but yeah, he definitely had major influence on all of them

Maybe it was the first song of the night, maybe it was an "off day", maybe his in-ears or the mix was fucked up. Who knows, but he seemed to be struggling a bit to stay on meter at first.. It happens to the best of us. Not knocking the guy, BTW, just an observation. 👍
100%. The wonk is strong in this clip. Missed hits, uneven double bass playing (both pressure and timing), and unplanned tempo shifts. I saw them in Australia many moons ago and he was wonky then too. Unfortunately I am really sensitive to this so it really hampered my enjoyment of the live experience. His creativity is great and their recorded output sounds perfect, however :)
