Some of you guys have been asking me some questions about my personal life, and you also have requested some videos spoken mainly in Portuguese.
So today, I have decided to combine those two requests, and I have put together this video where I speak about myself, answering some questions I have been asked, and speaking mostly in Portuguese :)

Podes recomendar mais livros em português europeu? Acho que é muito difícil de encontrar alguns. Muitas vezes não tenho certeza se um livro é brasileiro ou não.

Linda Ma olá Linda :) então, podes encontrar traduções para Português Europeu de todos esses livros que eu mencionei que não são portugueses. Se quiseres mesmo livros de autores portugueses, podes ler todos os de José Saramago, por exemplo (apesar de poderem ser um pouco mais difíceis), podes ler os livros de Júlio Dinis que eu também mencionei (“Uma família inglesa” e outros)... para além disso, tenta ir a esta página www.pnl2027.gov.pt/np4/livrospnl?cat_livrospnl=catalogo_blx e ver os livros que aparecem aí. Esses livros são para crianças e jovens que estão em idade escolar, mas eu acho que são livros muito bons para toda a gente :) podes escolher livros para todas as idades e também podes escolher outros parâmetros de pesquisa :)

É uma versão curta do meu nome.Rui e Nuno são nomes muitos portugueses. Sprichst du Deutsch, Isabel? Ich lebe in Berlin seit 2012. Ich bin niemals in Holland/ 🇳🇱 Niederlanden gewesen. Tão nova e já estudaste tanto. Monótono??? Por que?? O Porto é uma cidade muito bonita. Adoro cães. Que boa pessoas és!!! É uma pena que as pessoas abandonem os seus animais de companhia. For many of us who just started to lear Portuguese this is a bit sad because, although there is an interest to learn more about Mia, at this stage it's difficult to understand a story in Portuguese excessively. What about subtitles in English ... which would also help the comprehension of Portuguese. Just a thought 😄
That’s a good point 😀 In the new videos I’ll add Portuguese and English subtitles, so you’ll already be able to get it 😊 thank you!
Thanks for this! I'm a total beginner, i have turned on subtitle to actually see what was being said otherwise I couldn't perceive any of the words, and I'm able to understand abit from keywords that I read tho I'm not sure. Is it normal to start learning by reading rather than listening? 💙
You're welcome :) Well, there is no right or wrong when it comes to learning, as long as it is working for you. However, I don't think you are just learning by reading - you are learning by reading while you listen :) So, yes, you are still learning by listening, which I advise. Don't worry and just continue doing what works for you and if you think you need, re-assess some time from now to see if you need to upgrade your teaching methods (you can check whether you are learning a lot or if you could definitely improve further). Just keep going :)
