Iron Golem only needs to take 400 damage to get staggered.
Yea I did 200 damage to iron golem and every time I hit 400 he would stagger

I can explain why pursuers did so little to that basic hollow! The projectiles almost never hit at the exact same time. The first one did 135 and killed, so the game didn't bother to show you the damage of the other ones. With 5 orbs, it would've been a total of 675 damage. Weaker enemies tend to be a bad way to test the damage of multi-hit attacks for this reason, sadly

Honestly i feal that the dlc in ds1 is underwhelming, for me everything including Artois were just not that hard. And the thing was i started with ds1 back in 2011, even then it wasn't that hard, i genuinely believe that the dlc is over blown and frankly i think that ds1 really shines with its world building and visual story telling not its bosses or combat.
I think it excels at all of those aspects, even relative to other souls games. Especially so in relation to most games lol
DS2 is a lot more about your specific build than knowing the enemies and whatnot, DS3 is heavy on timing which is really boring really quickly. R1>B>R1>B lol. It's not really supposed to be hard, it never was, it's just about learning how to overcome a challenge. On top of that, DS1 has my second favorite story and world in the series, my favorite goes to DS2, though, it's so crazy how much more Drangleic is than Lordran. Lordran is more concise and appreciatable, but Drangleic is far more interesting to me.
Its the same for me ds2 is my preferred game i can appreciate ds1 but for me it shows it cracks over time i still love the game but for me ds2 just hits different, also i can agree with ds3 for me its combat is boring

DS2 is very close to my favorite game, it's almost topped DS1 multiple times, and was my favorite at some point lol

Loving the Souls content, your voice and music choices make the whole experience a lot more chill than a lot of other challenge runners I’m aware of, which is a nice change of pace.
I believe that cleric would've been the best choice. Mace, catalyst, parry tool, healing spell, and light roll.
I don't like the mace and replaced it with bks anyway. The catalyst only gets one miracle, heal, so that wouldn't have been great, either. You can parry with your fist, and you can just take stuff off to fast roll.

Yes and no.
If by "items" we mean *all items* (key items, consumables, upgrade mats, usable items etc) then that's a resounding no. Can't use the lordvessel, can't wrong warp (no purple coward crystal, no homeward, no invasion point storage, arguably no battle of stoicism, and I assume we're using RTA rules so we can't quitout abuse WW either, if that's available there is a semi-frame perfect setup to warp to kiln so it IS technically beatable with shenanigans... at least if we consider the starting gift to be 'from the asylum', I don't think it's doable without master key though).
If we don't include key items then yes, obviously. You *can* beat the game without using any items at all, after all (aside from key items).

Ah yes, manus is my least favourite boss too but mostly because he's immensely busted in rando, he has killed rando runs before (manus in capra demon arena? have fun, there's no way you're dodging the what, 6-7 hit wombo combo? Manus and Kalameet on bell gargs? Good luck. Manus in quelaag arena? The initial slope is a forced hit, he will leap and you CANNOT dodge it (or the dodge is frame perfect).)
In fact, pretty much any Manus fight in a small room, or room with weird floor is kinda cancerous.

The reason why Sif's gender is unclear (despite the norse goddess connection) is cause a handful of names in ds1 have their gender flipped - most notably Ciaran, but somewhat applies to Gwyn (which is a men's name in Welsh, but gets used as a woman's name in English sometimes) and Gwynevere (which is a woman's name, Guinevere, spelt with the masculine Gwyn, which would imply it's the male version of Guinevere). It's not super common, but it's enough to doubt things lol
Gwen is used as a woman’s name in English (and in Welsh), but I’ve never heard Gwyn used that way. Ironically Gwendolyn (in Welsh) is a woman’s name; I’ve never heard the name Gwyndolin IRL. But you’re dead on with Ciaran, that’s definitely a man’s name in Irish. That one has always puzzled me. And let’s not get started on Domnhall, the Welshman with the Irish name…
As for Sif I’ve always thought of her as female because of the name. But my perspective on her (and the other names mentioned above) is: it’s a game. It’s not real. If you want Sif to be female, she’s female. If you want him to be male, he’s male. I’ve read that names and pronouns in Japanese aren’t gendered the same way as in English, but my knowledge of Japanese is zero.
And as for Gwyndolin, I’ve seen well-argued cases for male, female, non-binary, trans, cis … You pick which way you want to go. My view is as long as you’re honest and not just trying to start a fight, you can choose anything you want. It’s just a game.

I make these videos for people to enjoy, but recently I've been focused a lot more on metrics. In a way, that makes sense, the more people that watch, the more people enjoy it, and if enough people enjoy it I can spend more time making stuff for people to enjoy, but I still consider any work I create a success if only one person enjoys it, so I'm glad I can contribute positively to your life, however minutely.
