As much as I don't care for Runick that mirror in round 8 had me on the edge of my seat. And finals game 3 was the same. Juilo almost won through Purulia and Dogwood together. I'm on that magical Musket Fiendsmith train. Really happy to see it not only win a feature but make top cut. Euros was very fun to watch this year.
There will always be a disproportionate number of people saying they are not playing, but the event numbers say otherwise. I think that's more of an locals thing and people who just don't play to begin with adding fuel to the fire.
Oops looks like Ritual Beast and Tenpai gotta get nerfed into the ground now because of they did well at Euros! You know, because that’s what happened to plant-link. I’m still mad about that…

Easy way to nerf ritual beast without hitting a single in archetype card, remove the cards that carried him to the finals….aka floodgates. Ban shifter/protos and the deck is rogue.

FUN FACT: the ritual beast runner up was using the yellow/orange 2015 WCQ sleeves for his extra deck monsters, the same year ritual beasts came out in the TCG and made a lot of top cut spots at WCQ...also the same year cap made a prediction video that Ritual Beasts would win the NAWCQ in 2015...and he got pretty close, it ended up getting top 4.
The only fear is Konami seeing this and thinking “yea snake eyes doesn’t need a hit now” but we’ll see
I 100% agree with you that spooky dogwood should not be in discussion of the banned list! It's a clever tech that those who utilize it deserve to reap the benefits of it!

I don't think it's nothing clever it's just the best card to gain LP to win in time. It should not be banned but it screams "combos are too long"

yeah I don't know what up with the branded players on twitter crying to get Spooky dogwood banned. (the only 2 people I saw have that horrible take was Skralon and Galzo with Galzo also crying to get Red reboot unbanned for what ever reason) like it's constantly being called the worse ghost sister hand trap but when it finally does something people want it banned??? like if they had it their way every tournament would have something from the top cut decks banned. except for branded.

Time rules in yugioh tournaments rounds.
If time runs out, the person with most lp wins, and because of super long combos, this means that dogwood gives them a w for gaining a lot of lp.
In game 3 this can be a deciding factor.
The Yugioh community is hilariously dumb. A card they say is bad does something good for once and then they want it banned.

@@DragonAlchemist0 It means now every Ghost Girl has had its moment of relevance in competitive play with the exception of Red Blossoms from Underroot, but I don't know if anyone counts that.
@@moodq7733 It's a Level 7 Synchro that basically gains ATK equal to your LP and loses ATK equal to your opponent's LP. With Dogwood, it gets BIG.
To people complaining about spooky dogwood. Use the card then. Prove to konami that it's ban worthy
I think people wanting spooky dogwood ban fail to acknowledge that the card isn’t the problem but the fact that people just want to openly abuse the summoning mechanic which I think is necessary evil. Plus it’s easily beatable and it burns the user if they don’t gain life points. For me it’s basically maxx c but for life points and if it helps keep you in the game and or keep a game longer that 2 turns it’s completely healthy
People have a problem with maxx c or maxx c type cards and I think it’s more so people just want to summon 20+ times freely in a turn and think cards that prevent them from doing that are the problem which honestly is laughable. It’s just people DEPEND on those cards a “must play or I can’t win” thing which is the problem. They all can be beaten easily if you know what you’re doing at the end of the day
It’s like if you play against the same thing over and over again, you’ll find countermeasures to it

I said this o Mkohl40's vid on Ghost Sister and I will say it again here: Folks want to whine about The butt ton of life points to gain, but say nothing about her effect that halves the users LP on End Phase if no life is gained by the effect. But then again, today's duelists more likely don't read all of a card's effect, "Reading, what is that?"
Honestly, seeing Rit Beast getting that Gigachad 2nd place finish gives hope for more variety in top cut pools, even is 40 of the top 64 decks played with the Fiendsmith cards. The more Gigachads taking unexpected decks and playing them like you stole the whip makes me smile. Ancient Gears in America, Ritual Beasts in Europe, now we wait for the Gigachad to run Madolche, or Ice Barrier
41 Decks, the Spright Purrely Player has also run the Fiendsmith Engine.
Exactly how does Mulcharmy work? Say you end with 12 cards in hand and your opponent has 6 cards on field, do you have to shuffle any cards back?

@@stevenashley27 That wouldn't be problematic if handtrap didn't make this completely ridiculous. You can draw 8 cards, use 4 handtraps and shuffle nothing lol. Imo the shuffle part should be "shuffle a number of cards into your Deck equal to the number of cards drawn by this effect - the number of cards your opponent controls."

Round 4 had VS Mimighoul which was cool to watch beat Snake Eye Fiendsmith.

Before this event we joked about EU and losing to plant decks. After this event despite no plant decks in top cut, we still aren't sure they beat the allegations considering 10 fiendsmith snake eye players, 3 fiendsmith Yubel players, and a fiendsmith rescue ace player all failed out of top 16.
So snake eyes DOESN'T need a ban list and the format is actually healthy good to know I don't know why people are quitting the game.

People (myself included) use tier 0 way too easily. Snake-Eyes are beatable and are barely more represented than next best 2 decks, let alone rest of the decks put together.
Zoo would never miss the finals.
The EU coverage is good, but not all of the casters are. This is the first EU event I’ve seen with tolerable commentary, with the previous few i tried to watch having unbearably bland and “I don’t want to be here”-sounding commentary

It’s times like these that I breathe a sigh of relief because I play certain archetypes because I have an affinity to their art style and lore.
I built and played pure Snake Eyes because I never liked Fire King’s artwork or lore and played the deck without expectation in spite of the deck so happens to be the deck to beat.
So satisfying seeing these sheep lose duelists. Reminded me of MK Dons beating Man United. 😂🤣
People spend more time being scared and complaining about snake eyes than actually learning how to beat it 😅 i used to play dragon link and that was like 6 negates and a buster lock going first 😂
