Old Spike was so wild. Manswers, 1000 ways to die, Deadliest Warrior. all on the same channel that had ufc too it was FLOODED with insane questions only guys would ever wonder. idk if there's a single woman alive that's ever wondered if you can power a lightbulb with the kinetic energy harnessed from breasts when jumping on a trampoline.
And deadliest warrior was a inspiration for the creation of death battle. Can't remember which QnA it was, but they did confirm it was a big inspiration for them
10:28 The vampire spoof you’re lookin for is Vampires Suck. Well, that’s the one I’m aware of, there’s probably more. Another Horror themed spoof movie I love is Transylvania 6-5000.
One on one duels were great, I did like the squad ones for the more modern ones. I did have my issues though with some of the historical persons episodes though, like Washington losing to Napoleon or Teddy to Lawrence of Arabia.
The parody with 300 was Meet the Spartans, Twilight one was Vampires Suck. There was also a hunger games parody called The Starving Games oh then there was the Fast and Furious parody called Superfast! Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer also are responsible for Scary Movie 1. That dynamic duo kept the parody genre alive for over a decade the madlads.
Spike was a man's network. Deadliest Warrior, TNA, UFC, RAW (for a bit), Auction Hunters, Bar Rescue, 1000 Ways to Die, Blue Mountain State, Stripperella, COPS reruns, Star Wars marathons, advertisments for 🌽 sites on daytime television. Now it's rebranded to ParamountTV.
I loved this show! It was a bit unfortunate that they tended to not do testing well and messed up on certain facets of the history. My favorite was probably Mafia vs Yakuza if only for validating my completely rational hatred of nunchucks.
Taofledermaus made a ballistic dummy (I think it was a giant gummy bear) out of the material they make worm fishing lures from. Low cost but, not perfectly clear and one of the biggest complaints was the smell when casting.
So Kip, something useful if you're trying to find something specific. While a video is paused, if you pressed the greater-than or less-than keys (( No shift or anything needed, just the keys normally )), you'll go back or forward frame by frame. Also, when you were saying "Hand me those dammits" involving a trade binder, I thought it meant something like, "Hand me the cards you yelled "Dammit!" when you pulled them so they ended up in that binder to get rid of." That said, I'm gonna start using that in that way....
I remember watching that series...SpikeTV isn't provided by my satellite provider anymore. I saw pretty much every episode (still salty about the Ninja episode tbh) but I think the one that really killed it was went they went fantasy for a Halloween special and had Vampire versus Zombie...which IIRC was the last episode made. A lot of fans online at the time were super salty they did that special battle and me? I didn't care cause I knew it was just one of those "for the lulz" type of episodes that some series too sometimes. Also...gonna say something more than a little against the grain but: I don't care about the distinction between clip and magazine as far as firearms go....and I think it's an overdone thing about long time firearms people harping on the difference...and him brining it up toward the end as a thing that bothered him proves my point about it being a trope at this point.
then you have napoleon who never had under 200 000 troups VS washigton who never had over 200 000 troups ( or 20 000 idk don't quote me ) the renactment = 5 v 5 not even using the proper set ups ............. like realy BROOooooooo
The episode that bothered me the most about Deadliest Warrior was the episode where the ninja faced off against the Spartan the ninja should have won because the ninja always attacks when the opponent is at their weakest, like when they're sleeping
Kip: (Looks at pipe bomb)
Also Kip: "He's just a silly little guy"

Man, I remember Deadliest Warrior. That was a cool series
@@lenny_has_arived6679 I would love a modern iteration.

Deadliest Warrior was cool until they made every fight a squad based fight. The one on one duels were the best.
I feel like it was kinda necessary for more modern fights
@@mightymanatee5342 The 1v1s were the best 100%.

Favourite episode was probably Vlad Dracul vs Tsun Zu
Oh god it's been years since I thought of this show. Was so good.
@@raisinghell619 It was honestly great.

gsg9, gign, swat : we are here to save people
spetnaz : we kill bad guy .... saving people is ... happy byproduct
Also Spetnaz: "If they die in the theater, they die"
We need a video on "THE MOST, X-TREME!!!"
The channel pointlesshub has a good video on deadliest warrior, as well as some videos on other media
He’s also quite funny
