- The day has come to unwrap our cheap Lamborghini Murcielago that we bought totaled from Copart salvage auction. This car was crashed but with super light damage that we fixed in 2 hours shown last video. Now by popular demand, we are going back to the original balloon white paint. Unfortunately this was a fail because there is a ton of hidden damage below the wrap.

I liked the blue best. It's very similar to the metallic blue color that first came out by Chevrolet in 1967.
I had my 57 Corvette painted back then, with that color,
with the stock, red interior. It was AWESOME!!

We like the pearl white so much better than the blue wrapping besides that you brought the Lambo back in the original status what makes a car more valuable. We can understand that the previous owner wrapped the car because this kind of white is hard to spray in exactly the same color as the rest of the car. Absolutely a good move to unwrap, despite the hidden damages.. For me, wraps are mostly not OK. You have some cars wrapped in really nice colors that I understand but a lot of wraps I don't get from the colour perspective.
I would have been more inclined to have fixed that noisy bendix
It's exactly why it was wrapped. Easier to hide than to repaint.

The white looks good, but so did the blue! I think that maybe on one of your upcoming project vehicles you wrap it in that exact blue color!

The blue wrap in the sun really looked nice, but at least with unwrapping it you can see the nice paintwork. Only the front section from the front door forward needs attention . Still a really nice factory color.
Sweet car - that white pearl paint is going to be trouble to match though! Bummer.

What you found was why I suggested leaving the wrap on as it was protecting the paint under the wrap as well as the cracks! Sorry you chose to unwrap this car!

Tip for removing wraps . Use a drywall steamer it comes off super easy

You peeled back the exterior layer of the car just like peeling an onion and you revealed it’s true self. Congratulations guy’s, you gave birth to a Lamborghini hooptie.
I'm guessing the got in a minor fender bender and had the front fender redone and the paint a respray was going to be the same price as the wrap. So they went with the wrap.
It honestly wasn't that bad. A few hours of body work and everything will looks like new again .

It’s impossible to wrap over primer, the adhesive will not bond to the surface. Yet what could have happened was that the bumper was painted aftermarket and the adhesive from the wrap had pulled off the paint, hence why we will not wrap cars with aftermarket paint at work
Could that wrap be pulling up a bit of clear coat?

Even with the paint damaged it looks a million times better then the wrap. Wrap in my opinion is for cheap cars and people who do not want to paint. You always can see it and i would never do it.
Only benefit of wrap is protection for the paint.
Tbh its really not in that bad of shape. For supercar standards its not good but can easily be fixed 🔥

Hey guys the easier way to unripe all easy is using a hot blower to get it off dudes
You should have checked it before when you bought because one it was I super minor damage that happened to it and if such is seen there must be a catch don't forget that

If you had not unwrapped it would would have left it up to speculation weather there to was more damage now it will be correct and well worth the extra work when it’s time to sell ,

Something cool for the paint/wrap would have been to keep the blue highlights but unwrap the car. Keeping the blue on the skirts and just the small places to really make everything pop.

Don't see what the fuss is a about. 1x bumper respray which I'd totally expect on a car like this, plus a rear wing repair. Nothing major!
Not a wrap fan at all. I think it’s fine for a bad paint job, but no other reason.
I'm probably going to be in the minority, but I loved the blue wrap. I also love the protection a good wrap affords the owner. But I guess getting the car repaired and getting it rewrapped would be the option that I would go with.
