I just love how these sound. Not to much bass. They sound nicely clear to my ears. Not so dull. I guess "sound" is so personal.

Klipsch is known for needing a good break in period. Some decent or higher end do some breaking in before you get them, klipsch doesnt which helps keep their prices lower. Id bet if you broke them in consistently for a week or two, youd feel slightly different. Like a 4 without a sub and 4.3-4.5 with.

Thanks for the great, honest and educated review! You’ve made me change my mind. Just another couple of great options… Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 (incredible build quality) or if more bass, the Monitor Audio Bronze 100 will go below 45 and shake your windows! Thanks again !

Admire your high expectations and honest review, 'other speakers' competing with these will you be uploading reviews of them? Including sound demo was just great, in your future reviews also do please include sound demos or even better if you could just upload a dedicated video of sound demos and comparisons. cheers!

Like guitar amps kept usually on the floor for fullness. I run a 100 watt Sony cranked in my basement lots of fullness and i got them lastweek lol. I use my Amazon music with EQ. Jam with my drums!

I've always found Klipsch bookshelves to struggle with bass. And sometimes lack some midrange. Integration, up to now, has also been a problem for them. They are toning that horn down, which is a good thing, though.
In this price range, one has to also consider A Jones Elac Debut B6series.

Interesting... we all hear differently. I currently have the KEF Q150 and the R50M, both on a 15 day trial from Best Buy. I'm struggling with this decision. The R50M are holding their own in my book against the Q150. The R50M are a bit brighter - but this may be my old Sony amp - which gets upgraded next. Maybe I should have upgraded the Amp first! - but I don' t have to upgrade the Amp right away, and I needed new speakers going from a very old Sony 5.1 system with little (2" maybe) speakers . Anyway, I would not say the Q150's are 'much better' than the R50M's.. and in my book, they are very close. Both at basically $300 now. Enjoy your videos.

A review of 4.9 on Amazon seems to be fairly typical for anything theses days. Even on things that don’t work when delivered to your door. I would hazard that the typical purchaser of a speaker would be as “critical” of a consumer of speakers as they would be when purchasing a set of kitchen knives or new curtains for the living room. They are not listening to the subtlety of the speakers like a reviewer or audio enthusiast might be. If the speakers arrived at the house and looked good and didn’t make any highly objectionable noises I think they would get a rating of 5 from most shoppers.
On the other hand I find your review of the speakers to be based on actually listening, discussing various types of music, room setting, etc. Keep up the good work. Your reviews are worth what you had to say about the speakers and not some Amazon number.

Thanks a lot for your review. What do you think about this Klipsch if I could got by 200€/200$? I like a lot jazz, and classic music, but also rock from 70s and grunge, garage, punk, hard rock and metal... so? I'm afraid I wouldn't like maybe... They are so pretty and with this price in Europe is a piece of cake. I have actually an Edifier 1700BT and I like so much, so it will be muy first passive speaker, I mean my ears are not so sharp as yours. What do you think about? Thanks in advance!!!

Speakers last decades if taken care of 1000 dollars over a decade is 100 a year which is less then 10$ a month for a way better experience. Also once your done enjoying then can usually sell them for atleast half or a third of the value minimum. Depends how you look at things i guess but 1000$ for something you use everyday and for hours a day seems cheap.
