Great video, you taking consent is really respectful. I'm moving to Thailand in few months for long term, but still trying to decide whether I should move to Chiang Mai or Phuket. What are your views?
Well those are 2 very different places… Chiang mai beautiful, many young nomads and entrepreneurs, cheaper in almost every aspect. But your lacking beaches and it’s more of a big city feel (without sky scrapers) surrounded by mountains. Patong or Phuket is a big island that’s more spread with it’s little beach towns. If you want to be involved in the bar scene and crazy nightlife more then Patong is great, if you want less then just stay in a less crazy area (karon, kathu, Kamala,kata). On the flip side, chiang mai does have nightlife, the crowd is younger at the clubs, but there is a smaller bar scene similar to anywhere else in Thailand.
@@Brennybrez This helps me alot. The only reason I'm hesitant to stay in Chiang Mai is because of the burning season chaos every year. That's is the reason why I was thinking the possibility of Phuket. It does have the best air in Thailand. Also so many islands to visit.
Or the other alternative is to stay in Chiang Mai and Phuket for 3 months each and figure out from there.

@@PoreikiJack Thai weed I think you can get 3-4 grams for 1000 baht roughly, 35USD, the good stuff was much more like 2-3 thousand for a gram

You might want to re examine your comment about always asking the employees of the bars and massage shops permission to film them before you put the camera on them. Not the case in all the Vlogs I see you make. You film first then ask them. What about the ones in camera range that do not want to be filmed. And the vids of the walk around the massage shops filming the mamasan's offering extras just not cool. Sure it happens but advertising it on your channel kind of unnecessary IMHO. Be careful out there with that camera. The Scot my not be the only out there with a snot full being hateful.
When did I walk around mamasans offering extras ? If I’m vlogging and someone grabs me and interrupts me doing my thing that’s on them. As far as the Scottish guy went, all videos were cool until it was known that I was a “TH-camr” there for he didn’t care about being on camera, he just has an issue with TH-camr’s not having real jobs. I always make a conscious effort to ask people, sure I can’t go around asking everyone in the background of my videos if it’s okay but that’s really not my problem. I film with my phone using the back side camera, meaning I can’t see what or who I’m filing when I’m vlogging. And yes I may film someone right away, but the i put the camera down and interact and ask if it’s okay if I use that for my video. Go watch someone else’s videos if mine are to nice for you 🫡

The drunk guy bothering you, nearly got his behind kicked for not minding his business. Always check your surroundings before you make a bold statement like, " we don't want you to film here".... just maybe the owner allowed it. This happened in pattaya and the poor fool got jumped by the Thai bouncer crew for being drunk and stupid
