    I moved to Texas to fulfill purpose. Anthony, the reason GOD told Abraham: "leave your father's house and go to a place where I will show you" is because there is a PLACE of PURPOSE. The place of purpose is called PROVIDENCE because GOD programmed the PROVISION to fall in that place to help you finance your purpose.

    I travel across the country on a regular basis for work. My PERSONAL opinion is any place where there's a high concentration of black ppl, black WOMEN will have the cards stacked against us far as dating in these places. There will be such an imbalance of qualified single, straight, unincarcerated black men to qualified single black women. At best you'd be sharing a guy (whether knowingly or unknowingly).
    I am a strong believer that you can (and will) attract the perfect mate when you set your intention and become a vibrational match, no matter where you are. However, if we keep it surface, I recommend places off the beaten path such as Colorado Springs, Seattle, and Albuquerque to name a few. There will be ZERO competition if you are a great catch, men of ALL races won't hesitate to approach you, and the ration of men to women are equal.

      @DawnWilsonVideos ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Texas is very business friendly so for corporations, Texas is a lot cheaper than Cali. Expensive is relative. Not comparing Austin to an LA or NYC but based on a $600k median home price, almost 2% property tax, high utilities and being a car dependent city those costs add up for the average person. For renters it’s not as bad. I’m also talking about Austin proper, not places like Round Rock or Hutto. It’s a great city but just want people to know what to expect.

The dating scene for black love is horrible. If you are open to dating other men that are not black, this will probably be a great place for you. 🙂
    Phoenix, Arizona lacks diversity. There are a lot of mid-west people moving here. The black population is increasing year by year.

      @@ThePresentTimeNow Absolutely. Everywhere you go you will see Black people. Even in nicer areas.
      However the communities that I mentioned have million and multi million dollar homes so unfortunately they don't have many Black people living in those specifically listed. It's not like Georgia or Maryland where there are a whole community of affluent Black people but there are many Black people that do well here. This is a great place to be if you are a Black Millionaire. Right outside of multi million dollar communities you will have all minorities around you in your daily life. You can still be in touch if you want that is. No matter what you won't feel out of place as a Black person. Southwest Las Vegas is a very nice area where you can find nice homes in diverse communities.

    When you pick a sourhern state, make sure you can keep your same job, that will allow you to keep your same job via the internet/ laptops
    The southern states are " right to work states", meaning they can terminate you without a reason. There arent any unions at the state lrevel in southern states. That's why they have so many people sleeping under bridges. Most highly poulated cities have such a high rate of people going south, that by the time a raise is due for you, they usually will hire someone else. Then let you go because that is not against the law across that mason-dixon line. Just foid for thought.

It’s diverse, lots to do with family and friends, good eats, four seasons, and a significant African American population that is thriving. Also, you can drive to five other states within 2 to 5 hours and be right there. Lol. But just like any city, there’s always cons…crime, traffic, rude people, busyness, and too many people etc… however, there’s land to build or buy a house in the suburbs or country to get further out, and or one could buy a vacation home elsewhere to get away. I've lived in Chicago for numerous years. It is very cold. 50 degrees in June is rare. 10 inches of snow does happen but they clean their streets quick fast and in a hurry. It is an easy city to network in and the people are very sociable. You have to make moves and handle your business. It isn't a lazy man's town at all. Very competitive and fast paced. Traffic is all day everyday but the transit there is great. I hated the confrontational style of racism. They don't want Black people in certain areas and won't hesitate to letting you know. Chicago is hyper segregated so beware if you're moving from the southeast or west coast. When I lived in west Lakeview, I would never see hardly any black families.
    Not every city is for everyone. Make sure to look at your lifestyle and choose based upon what xyz city has to offer. Don't move to Columbia South Carolina and expect rapid transit and food offerings of Chicago. Take your time to examine things.

    Folks don't relocate without your employer knowledge as most companies comp adjust according to the state. We had several EE's uproot themselves to buy homes in the sunbelt (NC/FL/GA) during the pandemic and we had to adjust their salaries to reflect COLA for those areas. Most of which adversely impacted their income so you WFH folks may still be subject to COLA. Some folks were even let go-- its not as simple as our brother O'neal suggest if you are WFH and want to move to have a better quality of life🙂....It could result in a reduced salary as well...

    I'm in Minnesota. Born here raised here, and all though it is a beautiful state with plenty of resources I am ready for a change! I am moving to Orlando in the summer and I cannot wait! I disagree that Disney runs Orlando, yes their presence is huge but there is so much more to the area then that. I am at the age where I am not really interested in the nightlife but more of a cool, grown and sexy vibe that is also good for family! Orlando checks that box for me. There are plenty of activities in the area that include Poetry/Open mics, sporting events, live bands and some lit brunches. Only thing is the rental market is insane, the apartments are very expensive so you have to take that into account. I have however found lots of property for sale, which I didn't feel was priced too bad. With the population growing it will always create a new opportunity in anything you desire! Plus there is no state income tax! Dallas, Texas was my second choice but I want to be close to somebodies beach! I am looking forward to this move and to anyone considering relocating the time is now, go for it!!!

      @WORKSbaby yes that’s what I have heard this last year. Then also heard the pay is very low. I am fortunate enough to take my job with me, so it makes things a little easier.

    P.S. Swansea, IL (which is Southern IL) only gets snow about 5-6 times a year. Perfect for those who don’t do cold weather like me. :)

    Been in Dallas Tx 5 yrs deciding to move back to Houston Tx. Established business in both cities and they’re doing quite well. Even though ppl are moving in packs here you can definitely thrive and survive.

    I’m from Baltimore and i just moved back from the DMV area end of 2022…I’ve lived in Charlotte since 2005 and I also lived in Raleigh , Nc for a year ! Charlotte is cool and it feels like home..my friend purchased in Columbia , Sc and it’s very affordable there but I’m afraid it would be too country for me 🫤

      I love Charlotte. A city is what you make it and you can have a great life here. The cost of housing is going up like crazy, but there are still places where you can buy within reason.

    Tampa is amazing but housing prices nearly doubled since 2019. The average home price has gone up to 400K due to Wall Street investors, northern transients (NYC/ Midwest) and corporate investors buying up the homes. Cost of living increased significantly while wages remain the same. Outside of that- if you are a high wage earner--Tampa Bay is everything! It's not Miami, but it's nice if you are into outdoor sports and live an active life. Miami is the NYC of the south when it comes to night life, fast living and non-committal singles....Not Tampa!

    Im in SC super close to Charlotte. And with the way traffic has been the last few years Columbia to Charlotte is waayyyyy more than 45 mins lol. Its quite ridiculous on a daily basis

      You are right. I grew up in Columbia but have not lived there since I graduated high school (decades ago}. Just went back there to visit some family members and could not believe the traffic there. Gave me anxiety....lol and I live in Atlanta. And if you know anything about Atlanta, the traffic here is ridiculous.

    Orlando does not have access to the Atlantic Ocean hence no beaches. Not worth moving to Fla. if you arent going to have access to beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches.

    • @andreclark2472
      @andreclark2472 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have access to it. 90 minutes isn’t far, plus your property isn’t to close to the coast during hurricane season. I know plenty of people in Miami that don’t go to the beach more than 5 times a year.

    Phoenix is good for retirement. It’s not very diverse and there’s little to do in the arts scene. I recommend it for later in life. I hated it as a single person.
