There's a place in Brazil called Lavras Novas in the state of Minas Gerais, which is on top of a mountain, where if you look east, you can see the Pico da Bandeira summit, which is the highest summit in Brazil and what makes the border between Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo states. That peak is roughly 320km away from Lavras Novas. I've been there personally and for me it was the furthest I've ever seen while on Earth's surface (of course I've probably seen further from an airplane)

As a skydiver, I often experience dual sunsets. The last plane load of jumpers of the day, often takes off after sunset. However, by the time we get to jump altitude, the sun has risen again, and then sets again during free fall. If you only make one jump in your entire life, this would be the one I would recommend. It's a view you will never forget.

Across their vast history they have been anywhere from 151 inches up to 183 inches in length. 32 inches difference isn't particularly massive, but across the span of an entire light year it would drastically alter the number of Corolla you'd fit :D

In Ramadan, Muslims should wait until the sunset to break their fast, so people who are in high places should wait more than the people in the surface to break their fast.. because they witness the sunrise after the people in the surface. So who lives in highs or in the surface will be fasting for the Same period of time...

The Andromeda galaxy (2.5 million light years away) has 3.4 of apparent magnitude, which is much easier to see than a bunch of objects. The human eye has trouble seeing fainter stars than 6 magnitude and the Triangulum Galaxy is at this limit.
However Centaurus A (13.7 Mly) and Messier 83 (14.7 Mly), outside our local group, have reportedly been seen with the naked eye, making them the farthest non-transient objects possible to see. However, a transient event like extreme gamma ray bursts could be seen with the naked eye for a few seconds.
GRB 080319B occured 7.5 billions years ago and could be barelly seen with the naked eye if someone were luck enough to be observing at the right spot, making this the furthest object ever detected that could be seen with the naked eye.

but if that galaxy is 32 billion light years away, wouldn't it have taken 32 billion years for us to see it? Yet if the universe has only been around for 13.8 billion years, there wouldn't be enough time in the history of the universe for the light from that galaxy to have gotten to us. ??

If you and I were in a car traveling at exactly 60 mph for exactly one mile, how much time passed during that one mile? One minute exactly, right? You wouldn’t say it’d be within one minute. That’d mean it could be 20 seconds, 34 seconds, 53 seconds, anywhere WITHIN that minute.
The same goes for light. The time it takes for a particle of light to travel 9.461e+15 meters is EXACTLY one year. Hence one light year.
It might seem trivial but it’s really not. These numbers are fixed things that can’t be changed so the words we use when talking about them have to be absolute. These numbers aren’t educated guesses to where we can say “around it” or “something close to it”.
      Edit: changed to meters
