Just shared with my Wife. She has been trying to break 100. Its a mental block. This mental approach can be used in many ways with just a teak or two. I really this like. Because the main thing is to stay in the moment. My best rounds have always been completed when I don't ever look at my score during a round or have any expectations of the results before a round. However having and setting goals is the utmost in my game. It forces me to practice, learn how to get better and most of all keep it fun. I've broke 80 only a few times in my life. Its always a goal. Come close last year. Thanks MB

Broke 90 and then 80 on my own. Only instruction I ever had was a single group lesson given by Jim Colbert at a driving range that he owned in Santa Ana, California.

Step 1 leave driver at home hit a 5 or 7 wood off every par 4/5 get it in play keep it in bounds PLAY THE RIGHT DISTANCE

Rarely the right play. It's very difficult to make up for the loss of distance with accuracy. Absolutely play the right tees! Thanks for watching!

Step 1 is learn how to hit your driver. Your average 5 wood for an amateur is about 180. So a par 4 at 370 is gonna leave a longer shot in to a smaller target.

Terrible advice. Learn to hit driver

@@seadonkey6913 you are playing the WRONG distance if you are playing 400 yd par 4s and can only hit a 5 wood 180
Plus to break 90 you turn EVERY par 4 to a Par 5 so 210 2nd into a par 5 hit an iron and have a wedge in for your 3rd GIR

@@clw22580 your thinking someone is gonna break 90 that can’t hit driver and then thinking he can hit his wedges consistently. Tells me you don’t know much about the game.

Step one: get over yourself and play the proper tees.
